Racism in Canada may be subtle but it is economic and systematic especially towards natives and black people. As an Asian immigrant, many people in my community discriminates against black people especially interracial dating. My mom have this friend where his daughter is dating a black guy. I have recently filled out many government documents related to my recent unemployment. They all ask if I am native, female, new to Canada or part of a visible minority. The forms to do with education ask the same. Essentially what they are telling me is that there is lot's of help available unless I am a white male. This is discrimination under the charter of rights and freedoms. Cover that CBC!
