Did y'all forget to mention healthcare?

No mention at all of the massive increase in tax base required to fund healthcare for aging boomers that is actually underpinning Canada’s immigration policy, cool. Failure to build housing because of NIMBY municipalities and an unwillingness by the federal government to align immigration targets with capacity are much more to blame than the nonsense conspiracy you’re spouting. This video is a great example of form over substance.

I am currently in Waterloo, Ontario. Definitely Canada is one of the beautiful country. However, the points you mentioned in this video are infinite percent correct. Sometimes, Canadians get fed up so much of seeing Indian students and they start abusing us. It certainly is not correct. But, some students literally occupy, do parties with loud music and act as if they own the place which riles up the natives. In addition, the health care is not responsive. The doctors are so scared of loosing their license that they do not even care of other than their patients (even if some one is in emergency). This is very scary. Sometimes, I think, India is so much better in health care.

Saskatchewan is the worst. No major cities, no NHL team, no large bodies of water, no mountains, freezing cold winters, and bug filled summers. Not to mention, farms smells like crap. Winnipeg saves Manitoba, but outside of that its second largest city (and really only other city) is Brandon at 55,000. Over half the province actually lives in Winnipeg. BC is the most beautiful, but also has the most ugly part of Canada with the DTES of Vancouver. That place is hell on Earth.

As a Canadian living in Canada for 20 years. This is 100% truth when it comes to Canada's medical care system. Furthermore, the issues with drugs and housing shortage to 100% true. One thing that Canada has for itself is the clean air and nature in national parks ( to get there you will need a car and DL). The other issue that would have mentioned is the house buglery, auto thefts, and gun shoots in schools, that the police in Canada no longer are willing to address. Lastly, it's critical for everyone to comprehend that the government itself knows that it's bad so they started a government sponsored suicide program for being able to get timely medical care. For example after waiting for 3 years for a knee replacement surgery, the doctor left the province and my mom was told that she can opt for medically assisted suicide if the pain was unbearable.

Living in Canada since 5 years and never faced any of these issues mentioned in the video. Its a beautiful country with most polite and helpful people, one of the best work culture I have seen. We recently welcomed new born baby in Canada and medical care we received was top notch. Been growing personally and professionally in this land with grace. \n\nThe only issue I see here is growing number of unqualified immigrants which doesn’t help Canada and creates stress in Current system. But as a Country Canada has a right to stop or slow down immigration if it is in the best interest of Canada and their economy. Australia, Singapore, USA all have done that. We cant call it hypocrisy.\n\nAlso once you leave your home and immigrate to another country for study, job or whatever, you cannot expect the governments of those counties to make decisions favorable to you. In Trump era, USA was very strict on Visa policies and many Indians moved out of USA. USA has gun problem, racism and so on. \n\nPoint being, when you immigrate it comes with your own challenges, irrespective of which country you select. Do not use the word deport so easily without understanding what deportation means, as any immigrant who stays illegally in the country or violates the law will be deported\n\nAnd it’s true that health care system is not great in canada and mention the cities which people are leading a good life without much drugs abuse too

I am a big fan of your videos because of their relevance and practicality. However, for this video, I would say that 60-70% is true but 30-40% is inaccurate. I am currently staying in Canada and I am also experiencing some of the mentioned issues at the end, which are prevalent worldwide and have their pros and cons.

Some of the data shared is incorrect. For example you dont need 190k salary for mortgage. Even someone with an average income of 60k can own a home. Housing crisis is in major cities like Toronto, Vancouver the same like we see super expensive housing in Mumbai for example. \n\nPregnant lady does not have to wait for 30 weeks. That is completely incorrect. \n\nThe drug problem and the images that you share is from Vancouver which you mentioned already but that is not the case you see in Ontario, Alberta or any other province. Its like how Punjab has drug problem but it doesnt mean that Gujarat is the same when it comes to drugs. \n\nThe protests currently happening around deportation is also due to the fact that so many students from India were scammed by an Indian agent who sent them to Canada on fake admission letters. Those students were not enrolled in any colleges and came to Canada on fake documents. \n\nI agree that Canada is very difficult for immigrants to come and build at this point. This wasnt the case 10 years back. But this is true to only densely populated cities. Everyone wants to go to Toronto and Vancouver so it has made the situation tough in those cities. But there are other provinces and cities that are still easy to settle down and build your life. \n\nCanadian locals being not immigrant friendly is not whole truth. Some % of locals yes they are fed up of too much immigration but do search for videos or news article of Indian students in Brampton fighting and you will get the answer on why some of the Canadian locals are being wary about immigrants now a days. \n\nIt is hard to settle down in Canada yes. For someone who is having a decent salary in India can live a good life in India instead of choosing to struggle. But someone are made to chose the hard path to success.

All things mentioned in video is true. I have been living in Canada from past 4 years and I do agree with all points. Houses are unaffordable and rents have gone too high. There are NO JOBS as well. I cannot even recover my student loan, instead I've to ask for more money. I cannot even afford a car as well here. Things are worst here. I'll repeat DON'T COME TO CANADA.

Bro, No one said to deport students. It depends upon the students. They give 3 years of work permit after completing your 2 years of study. In that time students have to work hard in full time job after. Also, your job comes under certain skills they you can easily get PR. Also about the GIC amount you mentioned was recently changed to $20,000. Before it was $10,000. Also, Canada allows you to work part-time while studying.

Some facts are true but honestly its not that bad.. people do qualify for mortgages with 80k income as well.. may be a smaller house.. and the point where they mention we will pay debt for the rest of our life think of the time when our parents took loan to build houses in india and they paid a debt as well. It is because any first generation will have a struggle in any new place or country.since we were born in families where house was not a problem in india we think its easy. May be just move to a different city like move to Delhi from punjab and buy a home there. Can a youg guy in his 30’s take a loan from bank in india and make those big EMi’s in india which is about 30 to 50k a month in india.? Live in toronto, all the above issues mentioned are 100% correct. My wife cut her finger last week, and the cut was really deep. She got 4 stitches. she had to sit for almost 2 hours covering her wound with paper towel, to see the doctor. Plus immigration will get very difficult in coming years in canada. If you know french then you will have chances. And houses which are just made up of wood should not be this costly. I work as database developer and i get paid good for now, but jobs are also not guaranteed and scares. With salary I earn, i should definitely afford house, but Canada have Rahul Gandhi in power, which is making everything impossible for Canadians, so Indians you can figure out what are your chances.

Its crappy, I'm at the point in my life where me and my fiancée are making more money then we ever have, but its going no where. We need immigrants, we do not need this much. I go on tiktok and there are tutorials for people coming into this country on how to obtain free food, like from food banks and what not, spite the fact we have minimum funding requirements for students coming here. It sucks, because the minimum isn't high enough for somebody to actually live off, and its taking food away from desperate Canadians who really need it. Some of my best friends are immigrants, and it sucks to try to speak up about it, only to be bashed as a bigot or xenophobic. I'm not either of those things, we just have a HUGE issue caused by a massive influx of people. Its not the people's fault, its the failure of our government. I have no issues with anybody who wants to live a better life, I have massive issues with a government letting new immigrants experience a mediocre, and overpriced, life at the cost of everybody else's life getting WAY more expensive and difficult. My rent for a 2bd apartment in 2014 was $770 all included, Grocery bill was about 170 every two weeks. That has all tripled in the last 10 years, Legit tripled. *Only mentioning those two, because they have gone up the most, but EVERYTHING has gone up. (about 2-3x) Its crazy to think when I was making 8-10 dollars less an hour, I had more money, it went MUCH further.

All the facts mentioned in this video might be true, but your video does not mention what are the exact differences between India and Canada.\n\nIn canada there is equality, that's why everyone has equal rights, opportunities and medicare. All the points mentioned in this video are 100% true. I live in Vancouver, and I'm an international student I really wish I knew the truth about this country before. There is no proper education, too. Everything is self-study and assignments with no campus placements. You won't get good professors in your universities because they are overbooked for the semester, and then you are left with no option but to settle for whoever you get. There's also a lot of exploitation by the desi employers who think they are the king of the world you have to do everything they say so that you don't be jobless all your work experience from India does not count here which means you won't get a decent job and even an intern requires experience of 2-3 years with base pay. The only suggestion I would like to give to the people who are planning to come here is to THINK AGAIN, do your research AGAIN. We cannot undo our years lost, BUT YOU STILL HAVE TIME.

The cons you have mentioned about Canada are correct but it would be subjective to call Canada dangerous for Indians. Recent Indians moving to Canada are struggling much more because of the much higher cost of living, spike in scams, unemployment (especially amongst Indian students) etc. but Its relative safe for Indian and other nationalities living in Canada.

When planning to study in Canada and writing their SOP, students clearly mention that after studies they will return to their home country. So what's wrong in changing their policies, no one guaranteed them anything or did they? People should be aware and ,make their decisions wisely.

There's been a substantial increase in grocery prices, housing costs, and rental rates. One drawback you didn't mention in the video is the Khalistani movement in Canada, which is causing issues and disturbances for Indian students.

i've heard similar stories from my friends who live in canada but along with these reasons you guys could've mentioned RACISM also. there is a increase in racism incidents happening especially with indians. i thought of moving to canada in 2020 but pandemic put a full stop to my plans and i'm glad that i didn't move there.

This is 100% True! Actually the condition is much worst than descirbed in this video.\n\nHealth Care:- Average wait time to get a family doctor is 3-5 years. In simple words, if you have an extremly seious condition then only you get an immediate treatement in Emergency. If you need to see a specialist like dermatologist or orthopedic, average wait time here is 6 months. \n\nRents :- Canada population has increased by over 1 Million every year in past 3-4 years due to libreal immigration policies. However, the goverment did not take any steps to accomodate these people. To give context, Canada has built houses every year to accomodate only 300K people. That is why the average rent(950$) is more than double nowadays (2000$) for the same house/apartment in compare to what was 5-6 years ago. \n\nHome Affordibility:- Average family(two person) income is $75k yearly right now. Average house price in Canada is $700k. The bank only approves mortgage upto 4x times your income. So that is 75 * 4 = $300k mortgage. So you need to make a downpayment of $400k if you want to buy your own home. \nBy the way, the minimum wage job package is only $32k per year. \n\nCrime and Chaos:- Canada has a catch and release policy for repeated criminals. Let's say somebody stole you car and got caught, he will be released on bail in 10 mins. The crime rate has increased 20% in last 5 years. \n\nTaxes:- Average family(two person) earning $75k pays 29% income tax to Goverment for these above mentioned wonderful servies. I landed as PR in Canada and I’m Canadian Citizen now….. being IT professional it wasn’t that difficult to settle however what you mentioned for students is somewhat true! There is an another side of it as well that Student visa was somewhat abused as an entryway to canada when skilled PR was getting stringent. \nImmigration happened at a rapid speed however infra for healthcare is same thus the wait tine has increased… not enough Doctors……also not enough job opportunities for those students, Inflation and high interest rates are adversely affecting new Immigrants.

Misleading Video!! Came in Canada as 2021, have been here ever since. Students from India come here without any vision in mind , just for the sake of PR and are stuck in odd jobs. There are people who have bought 4 homes in 4 years. The thing mentioned about Loans is complete sham. Yes there are some issues but it exists in each country, as in India as well. I am an Indian at heart and have my family both here in Canada and India, but this is extreme shown in the video.

I am watching this video from Canada and I have 4 words for you - “DO NOT COME HERE!!!” Everything that was mentioned in the video is absolutely true. Canada is facing many problems, unaffordable housing, broken healthcare systems, homeless people, drugs. I am always scared to walk in downtown at night when I’m returning from work. And the worst part is, you cannot even defend yourself here if a homeless person is attacking you. If you do that you will be prosecuted saying that why did you touch that homeless guy and it is a violation of human rights, which is stupid. So does that mean that we should just let a random homeless person kill us?? How does that make sense?? My friend who was having an asthma attack had to sit in the emergency room for 8 hours. If something would have happened, who would be responsible? And the list just goes on. And what does the Canadian prime minister do about that….? Let a guy be a girl and a girls become a guy? Sir, aapki mostly baate is video me sahi hai and I am currently in Canada so I can relate. But aap ek baat mention karna bhul gye ki at least Canadian Government problem ko accept karti hai and at least solve karne ka try toh kar rahi. Not like BJP ki wo main problem like unemployment ki baat karke hi raazi nahi hai. So Yes, I will still choose Canada ??

I lived, studied, and worked in Vancouver (5 years) I have seen the drug situation firsthand hand all the issues you guys mentioned are 100% TRUE, the recession, rising housing prices and rent, a bit of racism in the hiring system, and almost no hope of jobs after getting laid off I think I made the right decision to come back. Yes, there are a few good things but if you want to move JUST DON'T......
