Canada has been sold from us Canadians by our greedy politicians and corporate interests. This idea that Canada just needs to build more homes is insane. There are millions of new immigrants, student visas, and illegal borders crossings every year. Most of Canada is desolate frozen tundra, rocky mountain, bog, dense forest, and the few spots where the weather is moderate everyone wants to live. People dont want more homes to be built because we can already barely drive anywhere due to traffic congestion, no one has doctors anymore, water restrictions start in early spring, no room for kids in schools. Everything is over crowded and over priced because theres way too many people here in a short amount of time and the infrastructure isnt close to being able to support it. The only ones benefitting from these out of control immigration practices are multi national corporate interests looking for a large cheap labour pool.

If you consider yourself a liberal, and have voted for Trudeau and his party in the past, take a good hard look in the mirror, you are one of the voters who were responsible for Canada becoming this way, when he said, “the budget will balance itself.” That should have been all the hints needed for an educated person to see the liberals had no idea about anything in regards to economics, there’s a reason so many people are moving to Alberta, because truthfully, the more conservative policies are just superior when you consider how many times the liberals have exceeded their budgets

Why do people still keep coming to Canada? Because it's even worse where they come from. Unfortunately, even countries in Europe are in trouble. Have a look at France and Germany. Germany is in debt and in recession; all Latin EU countries are in debt up to their eyeballs, facing bankruptcy thanks to free spending liberal governments. As for Developing Countries, their GDPs are not enough to deal with their populations reaching working age. Their growth is too slow, so opportunities abroad look attractive. And, if immigrants move onward to the USA, that is the natural flow Canadian immigration has had for decades. The Can. government will need to become heavily involved in creating affordable, high density housing, cut red tape, and make education cheaper if they want to retain migrants.

Islam is an evil barbaric religion that needs to be destroyed. That's all there is to it. There will never be lasting peace in this world as long as that religion is around. The problem is none of the politicians in Europe want to grow any balls and do anything because the woke media and the politically correct crowd have guilt-shamed them into looking the other way.

As a Canadian, I looked into becoming an auto mechanic. Its going to take a year of school, tuition and then, in your first year, you'll make entry level wage and have to pay $3000 in tools. You might even need a truck to haul your tools around. They keep saying how they need tradespeople in Ontario, but the licensing/ apprentice process takes so long for people to transition into. Every trade is so complicated to get involved in. There is a situation where there are willing and capable people, but the admin process is too expensive and bars people who are in need of paying groceries, rent and bills. They can't find enough millrights either. Its the same problem.\n\nYou've got a surplus of willing and capable workers and employers seeking talent, but the admin process inhibits the entire process. \n\nIf I could start apprenticing on-the-job today as a mechanic or millright I would. But, I need to support family, so instead I am working readily available joe-jobs. \n\nAll trade positions will continue to be unfilled on job posting boards, while potential candidates will be busy working low pay jobs in warehouses etc. just trying to survive. Ontario is idiotic! Back in 2014 they introduced the Ontario College of Trades which only sought to take admin fees from every conceivable profession. The old bureaucratic established people in Ontario have a way of keeping everyone as peasants and minions. This is also why people are leaving for Alberta (a wise decision).

Regardless of what that was intended for, it looks like a knife and can be used as one. If i was there wearing that i would have been arrested also. I would need a special permit to wear that where i live an work, but it would bot be allowed in scholls or govermnent buildings because it can be used as a weapon, by its owner or someone else. Its about safety, not racism. Hes a religious man. Probably harmless, but you cant wear that for safety reasons.

Most of this is accurate, except there are plenty of homes in Canada under $400 000. The problem is with the higher rates and stress test (which is another huge factor as to why people are leaving) it's difficult to be approved for enough to even purchase a cheap home. Also the competition for cheaper homes is brutal. Even with an income over $70 000 a year your looking at maybe being approved for $270 000 right now. Not many livable houses for that price in Ontario near jobs. Canada is not the same place anymore. Another problem is wages going down or becoming stagnant due to immigration. I have personally seen both security and the trucking industries nearly destroyed because of this. When entry level and mid-range trained jobs aren't making the wage you need to live, you don't have many choices but to go somewhere you can afford.

For housing, something that needs to be and should be discussed is the land base. \nI know some real estate players in BC that laugh when people talk about housing and affordability, they say look at the landbase and who controls it. In BC its a crazy amount to 94% and only 5% available for ownership of the people. No option to apply and buy anymore and only lease. That is why even rural lands in BC 40 to 60 minutes outside of a teir two or three city is still thousands per acre! To the coast to coast to coast average its 88%+ controlled by governments and not the people. Do the math there and you will start to see the connection. \n\nAlso, for health-care, its not free just paid for through taxes by the governments on the people. It is broken in so many ways and most likley too big to fix kr repair now without a full ripdown and build up. \n\nMany orher things but just my initial points.

Rent will keep increasing as there is no competitive market. as many of the people in Canada are already operating carousel tax fraud. Look that up on W5 and Canada is doing nothing to stop this, guess where all the ones at the top of that carousel are from? As long as there are ones operating illegal business earning more than the average hard worker being able to afford higher rent the rent will not be decreased but keep going up. Saying that they are bringing in mostly younger people is a lie too, they bring in everyone. That our workers are aging out and there will be nobody to do the work. Let's think about this clearly, as the population grows we need more businesses, more schools, more produce etc... Fact we need the same amount of business for a community based on the size of the community I would think. In the 1800's a small school house was sufficient, a local convenience store was enough with a mail order catalogue etc.. As population grows you need more. We also now have self check outs etc.. We are cutting down Canadas number one resource trees to make way for more and more roads etc.. Having to spend more to change and widen roads, feed these refugees, support them till they get situated, house them for how long, educate, train them, and then hope they can actually adapt and not hate us etc.. Look around the world and not just in our own back yards i.e. what happened in NY today, look at Britain afraid to put up Merry Christmas not to offend or any Christian monuments. Yet we have to tolerate. hmmm As said before I am neither Christian nor Jewish I am Natsarim and view those things as pagan myself but feel this world is going down the wrong path and nobody should have to cave in for the sake of others. I will stand with the Christian and I will stand with anyone that I feel are being made to turn over their ways for the sake of others and have their economy shattered in so many ways. Ask yourself what is your government really doing to protect you on so many levels? Many also come here only to study or take loans and then spend all that money they borrow and then leave, banks offer them special incentives with with welcome to Canada packages and they use it all up, buy goods, then sell them and leave. I read that it really is a problem and some have posted on quora if I owe canada money will I be arrested if I return or what will they do to me. It was quite a high amount on a special credit card he obtained that he maxed out shopping and then selling the goods. Now I know many can do that sort of thing and some by mistake, but those that have no intent to stay... The point is what is being done to protect us from purposeful frauds.

It is the stupidity of the Liberal party and its leader the Prime Minister Justin Trudeau that is being manifested. Anyone with sound education and some common sense would have thought that having the needed infrastructure for the immigrants in place before unilaterally sending them invitation on the social media. This is the consequence of his tweeting on social media that we are experiencing. He found it more benevolent to extend benevolence and grace to wannabe Canadian immigrants than look after the welfare of Canadians who are suffering and needed help. I thought that charity begins at home. He talks a good game nothing more just talks, and then come next election he will put forward political manifesto that he knows he is not going to fulfil.

Canada needs to house and feed their own before bringing others from other countries. Other governments need to step up and look after their own people.

And addressing current issues, Canadian passport holders who choose to live in Gaza, which has no rights for women, LGBTQ, and especially jews and whose leaders drafted a charter calling for death of ALL jews, sounds more like NAZI Germany, well they do not belong in Canada. There are plenty of surrounding muslim nations they can go to.

Naw really? We never asked for the liberals WEF agenda. In North America there is more growth, but it is a way harder to raise up family. You might need a 20 years to achieve something. Or maybe next generations will. Look Italian Americans. They have been considered dirt poor for decades by other Americans. What is source of wealth ? All around world is the same - mortgage loan. Jamie Dimon of JP Morgan says 85 % of American middle family wealth originates in mortgage loan. Loan is always eaten by inflation. Is a gift by government for hard working people. Study mortgage loan - debt - bond markets. Banks business condition. Study which skills are in drastic need in your country of living. Get skills, get salary, get loan and buy cheap. These days the hardest is to buy cheap. So be hungry and look around like tiger in the Jungle

With all due respect, comparing US and Canada to European in general doesn't make sense(please excuse my words). Compare them to European countries like Switzerland, Denmark, Norway, Luxembourg. And talking about countries with more billionaires, you can only do that on per capita basis looking at the American population as compared to these countries, and with that the statistics has proved that Scandinavia has more billionaires than US and Canada on per capita basis. Countries like Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, France Holland and all those other countries limit you because you're not allowed to work more than one full time job at a time, but in a country like Denmark, the wages are higher and you can work as many hours as your strength can and on top of that you get free healthcare, free education, and a lot more social benefits. So these countries come no where close to a country like Denmark. The language barrier is very valid, but putting in efforts to learn languages of countries like Denmark, Norway. Switzerland is worthy than getting a degree in country like America where inflation is out the roof and debt to gdp ratio is over 90%, having to borrow 3 to 4 billion every month in 2023 to stay afloat.. You need to read more on current state of the US.. It's been predicted that in mid 2024 to the end of 2024 5000 people could lose their job every month due to companies shutting down. This is never a good time to relocate to the States! lol

Like you, I know someone happy with their job, location, medical care and opportunities, but they are also very uncomfortable with the political situation - I'll just say it - Republicans. You need only look at Trump and its followers. Guns over lives (including kids), billionaires over poor, religion over others' freedoms (gay/trans/abortion, etc), mass spread of misinformation (Fox news, OAN, etc) and a personal selfishness and anger which was made very clear during COVID times. It makes them feel like they are walking on eggshells, at least compared to Canada where they lived before and people would look out for each other more (even if they didn't know them). They like the weather, job, opportunities, the USD buying power, and their friends, among many other things, but it just feels excessively risky to them dealing with the combinations of these things. I can completely understand why they and others might want to leave the US.

It’s been 5 years for me here and I honestly can say I have achieved nothing in my life yet. It scares me when I think I can’t return whatever my parents had invested in me. The fact is you’ll never have a good paying job in Canada being an immigrant. When I say this trust me I mean it. Most you’ll get is a minimum wage job which can make you survive the life here. If you feel sick and not well and you wanna see a doctor be prepared to wait for hours and hours. I once had stomach infection and I had to wait 5 hours till someone could see me. I asked for painkiller at-least so I could bear the pain but they refused that as well. You might well see someone you love dearly and with whole heart die in-front of you and you could do nothing. There is No labour shortage! Data shows there's more people looking than there is work. People are lining around the block for low-paying jobs. Dollararrma had 2000 applicants in Waterloo for a lead cashier job. I've never known the job market to be so competitive with multiple tests, assessments and interviews for entry-level gigs. And its getting increasingly hard to get a job without speaking a foreign language. Why is mass immigration needed if they take our jobs and housing? The government says we need their tax dollars to support social programs but our social programs have declined a lot in the past decades despite mass immigration. It costs millions to process these immigrants. All immigration should be halted immediately and the processing costs used to conduct a study to determine what if any benefits we really get from this. Most countries don't take in half as many immigrants and manage just fine. People are struggling to find work and housing and the economy seems to be suffering not benefitting from immigrants. I feel for people in war-torn countries but we have been than generous to immigrants and our own citizens are hurting as a result.

Look whoes are proped up Prime Minister and who is propping him up. Humility and an ear to listen to the needs of Canadians. Fat chance.

Canada has become a bleeding heart nation for war torn countries and third world immigrants. Just like the US, we have switched from a manufacturing/production society to a nation of consumerism. That's why all the jobs here are customer service based. People realize this, tuck tail and go back home. Canada is quickly turning into a 3rd world country because that’s where the majority of them came from, as refugees NOT IMMIGRANTS. Canada is no longer screening for EDUCATED, PROFESSIONAL people who can contribute to Canadian society. Canada has made it so difficult for those who are educated and are professionals to receive accreditation to contribute to Canadian society. Canada no longer ensures there is a Canadian sponsor who pays for the immigrant, to ensure that the immigrant is not a burden on society. When teachers can not make change while volunteering at a food stand for a local craft show, this explains that our education system is junk. Our health care system is run like a well oiled corporation where money stops at the top/administration and never finds it’s way to those who need health care. I was the first generation of latch key kids to go to school with Italian, Croatians, Serbians, Armenians, Jews, Palestinians, Asians and we never saw our classrooms full of sanctioned hate. We never saw the neighbourhoods of any of these ethnicities look like open toilets. There was no gang violence amongst these ethnicities. They had their own community centres, churches, synagogues and anyone was welcome. They were active in the community, they were fantastic neighbours. Decades later we have “no go zones” in our cities and rural communities because of the danger of some ethnicities. Churches and synagogues are locked. Their community centres are locked and monitored for entry. We have lost our way. We have allowed chaos agents into our country and we are paying the price and will continue to do so.

Because of Trudeau’s socialist liberal policies and the national media support of such policies,we as Canadians don’t have anyplace to go. But as an “irregular traveller” you can become a citizen of our land and go back to where you came from. As long as the Canadian taxpayer will look after you wherever you are and whatever you need. I wish as a Canadian we would have that kind of support in our own country.

We trained a record of 75 individuals in plumbing electrical and carpentry in the past 2 years. Canada just needs to look around we are here to work! Don't need immigrants to work I gaurentee that.

Yikes! Born and raised in Syracuse, NY and after college spent 16 years in Los Angeles until finally moving back to NY last year. Any comparison between Toronto and L.A. I simply won't stand for.....and I really mean that because you have less gun violence, seems like more cultures get along there, plus it looks cleaner. I'd consider moving to Buffalo just to be within an hour of Toronto to take weekend trips. After seeing how the rents up there are close to SF or NYC, def can't move there anymore. There's an appeal Canada has in terms of safety and perhaps better quality of life than the U.S. but frustrating to see housing crisis is even worse up there! I'd hate to see Toronto start to remind people of anything remotely close to California. Def sounds like you need a new PM asap. After seeing your Montreal video, think I'll take a short trip up there instead.

I always wondered why I had to be here when the snow tilted between 45 and 60 degrees in winter and hit my face at 30-40 km/h.\nquality of food, transportation, service from employees, speed of processing time, etc there were many things that made me really unsatisfied being living in Toronto.\nsame, at the first time I came Toronto, everything looks great. but not anymore \nI'm korean and I feel really unsafe when I go and live abroad. Korea, Japan, Singapore mainly all Asian countries are top 5 in safety all over the world I think. \nAsia especially Korean and Japan have great service, quality of food with reasonable price. I think I don't need to move foreign country. \nmy background is in South Korea but I can say living in Toronto Canada was horrible and harsh for Korean. Because of multiple reasons but the harsh weather is the biggest for me. Feels like winter in Toronto is 7~8 months long if I compare it to winter in Korea. Fall and Spring?? No, they don't have fall and spring and it's all winter. they have snow in early September late April or May. It was horribly hard because the cold air from the arctic and really powerful wind came all together. even though the weather and temperature look a little bit off from Korea, Canada has a much more harsh location with weather. not only harsh weather but they do provide really embarrassing experience such as expensive payment for everything, a lot of factors disturb me from leaking money. I don't think Canada is a good country. my view of this country totally has been changed 3 years ago.

The problem is people who did not get seats in good Indian universities look for an easy way out. To go out and work abroad, you need good English and good basic subjects. Scamsters exploit these hapless youngsters who did not make the grade in India.

Though Canada is not a coutry that's been around for a year or two, population still at only around 38 million, they still need a lot of labor force and tax payers to further develop as a country and maintain the current level of welfare I assume. As everything is give and take in life, what you look for in immigration is well matched with what you can offer as an immigrant, everything works out fine. If you want leisure and take advantage of their civilization only, however, you either need to have enough wealth to cover or contributed to the society so much that you deserve a life of those that have already contributed building that country to the level that it is at. I think that only makes sense.
