I really lost all respect for Palki, she has become the person she criticizes others for. A propaganda machine. If you are applying for a tourist visa, be a tourist and should return when the visa expires. Get a good insurance which most of the time people are not un-aware.\n6. If you apply for student visa, be a student and do not exploit the visa or violate any rules and extend your visa stay.\n7. If you are hired for work, honour the work permit rules.\n8. Last but not the least, be a good citizena and don't do anything which may spoil your countries' image.

As an Indian our government should be blamed, most Indians don’t know how to blend with others culture, we will travel and messed others economy with our own of reasoning and thinking

To those talking about “civic sense” or that when Indians “learn manners” they will be welcomed - I have a sad fact to tell you. It’s all bull. Behaving like a goody good will only get you more disrespect. If you want your visas approved and respect from others, respect yourself. Hold your passport and your head up high. Leverage your economic strength and demand respect just like China and the west do. Palki is right, whether you like it or not.

We must not tell others wheather to accept our visa or not. It's their home,their turf, their rules ,their call. And many are pointing out in the comments about our behaviour. If that's true (and it must be based on our behaviour in our own country) we need to fix that first... Let's not become Karens. Many people think that because they think that they are cleaver enough to circumvent visa interviews, falsify documents required to impress foreign embassy staff, get visa on false pretenses because they have money, connections in domestic government or someone overseas to curry favor them, then no wonder your visa application would be rejected and fees forfeited or you would be turned down entry to your dream country on arrival and deported back to your home country. People even dare to charter a flight to Maxico with a plan to cross the border and into USA, like a flash mob, without a visa. Simplify cross-border travel and Visas but introduce stricter penalties for default - like immediate blacklisting of passports. That will deter the people who want to unlawfully migrate and let others like us enjoy travel and moving around the globe freely

Indian panjabi students they don’t respect others country culture because their lacking knowledge of western. One of most hated south Asian in Canada.

I've been to several embassies Western and other European Non Western embassies in India over the past 25 years and most of them don't allow Indian visa applicants inside the Embassy/Consulate. Some allow Indian visa applicants only at the entrance or only inside the gate not beyond. Others allow Indian visa applicants only at the gate and you hand your application and passport to the security. It depends on what kind of visa of course. If it's for tourism or a short term visa then you're not allowed inside. If it's long term then some embassies interview you so those embassies allow. But the embassies of those very countries in countries other than India are much more open and you can actually go inside the embassy and speak to consular officers etc. In India in most Western embassies and even some Non Western embassies you cannot do that unless you're applying for long term visa or immigration etc.

I have been able to visit Vietnam, Nigeria(office work) & Bali . Not much compared to others I agree. But the behaviour of Indian Language speaking Tourist in these countries is really really horrible. No matter how much these sold out News Anchor or our leader peddle false narrative that Indians are respected our passport etc etc. Indians are least preferred cause of the attitude issue. Even Nigeria whom we mock cause of look and color are more decent than us. Indian deserve this.

This is one thing we should learn from japan from very young age. To treat others with respect, keeping surroundings clean , civic sense . Even our 20-40 year olds need to learn these things .

Most Indian have to seek job overseas because their own country is so corrupted and yet jobs only for the Indian privilege and the abuse of Visa by Indians. Who has looked at the Indian bureaucracy? Just renewing a passport is painful. I live overseas and my mother has advanced dementia. Just trying to renew her passport at the Indian High Commission is a painful process. The Indian authorities do not even acknowledge an Enduring Power of Attorney that has been notarised, apostilled and attested by the High Commission. Before we complain about others, let us look inwards and sort out our own problems.

Indians need to learn Etiquette and need to improve on the way they behave with others where ever they go
