I grew up in Toronto and love going back often because I get to visit the neighborhood and bump into old friends, the variety of food is fantastic, there is lots you can do with theatre. Beautiful parks, Center Island, CNE, pubs…I can go on and on. \nThe negativity about Toronto is one sided because some people might not have had a good experience or the timing wasn’t great post COVID. That happened all over the world. \nSo my final comment, visit Toronto, soak in the culture and different activities. ?

If Canada had not allowed international students during and after Covid times, scores of colleges might have been shut down. I have been living in Turkey, in Ankara there are plenty of embassies. Why none of these people asks for visa or support through papers? If they have thousands to get smuggled they might have some credits to try the legal way. As European I agree is not optimal the behavior of Greek forces, but given the sheer amount of people forcing their way in I don't see how any different practical approach could improve the situation for EU. There is also a wide spectrum of people border crossing into EU, also many get rid of their passports as they cross in order not to get identified. I believe emigration is a human right, but laws of the receiving country are to be followed, and nations deserve to decide who has the right to live in their territory. The Fifth Estate had a great piece on what is actually going on in India and how this people are being scammed. They think that they're talking to a recruiter for a college, when in reality, it's a travel agency. They gave the impression that I or any other who had a concern with immigration might be possibly racist or xenophobic. Our government weaponized words to shut our voices down. This administration is putting many families in difficult situations. A lot of people are financially struggling to live, put a roof over their head and put food on the table. I don't know the reason as an outsider why the USA government has let all the illegals in to this country I never will, but at a guess one of the reasons might be because a lot of the Americans are on drugs right now and can't work, so they still need workers in the factories to keep the place going so they just employ cheap labour from other countries to take the place of people that can't work not to help the people of the USA to keep the country going.

As an Indian I can tell you for sure that Punjab India is corrupt. They make fake asylums and get fake documents from Punjab. They also make fake Khalistani claims.
