Refugees are for europe, not for middle east ?

People are not seeing the real-root cause of problem. Massive Refugee from Haiti, Congo, Cameroon and Middle Eastern Countries (french speaking Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Mauritiana, Lebanon refugees are the real cause!!) due to Roxham Road between US-Quebec border entry was used to secretly dump millions of people between 2015-2024. \n\nBecause all above mentioned countries' refugee are french speaking, and due to thier french-speaking abilities, they are often viewed as Qubecers and there has been no step from either Quebec Govt or Canadian Govt to stop those migrants and hard working poor international students are getting all the unfair heat!!! The border points from Midland British Columbia to Maine-New Brunswick, there has been massive Canada-bound migrations and mostly thru french-speaking provinces such as Quebec, New Brunswick. \n\nSTUDENTS ARE NOT THE PROBLEM IT IS THE REFUGEE S and Asylum seekers FROM FRENCH_COLONIZED COUNTRIES from Africa, Carribean and Middle East!! Universities and Colleges were always full of International students even back in 1990s, 2000s and 2010s!\n\nIn City of Montreal, there was anti-hatian waive in 2014-2015 even in conservative Stephen Harper's time because French speaking provinces were getting all these African-french and French-Mohammads and French-Abdullahs from Tunisia, Algeria, and Morocco and Lebanaon. Now those millions have spreaded over all canada.

Wow how many people hate immigrants, true they are very different from us but do u really think u could live in the only decent part of the world without any ripercussion? \nWe slay them, we enslave them, we are currently use they resources, maybe it's time to pay the bill.\nIt's a normal think came in europe to a better life, problem is money and politicians.\nIf european politcs were intelligent, they will stop sending armies to ukraine and bring their own armies stopping immigration in a decent way like helping refugees and their homeland but hey when the world chase money why a nation should chase valours?\nSo bussiness is the world leader and bussiness doesn't complain about humanity .

Real international students brings resources to Canada. Government needs to look into students that actually come not for study but to work (making money back home). Besides, why entrepreneurs and start up programs that will benefits our society gets so hard to proceed (taking over years to complete)? Why nanny home support worker can come to Canada as permanent resident so fast and easy? The people of Canada need to be aware of these strange policies that were made. The policy makers do not use their brains measuring the actual needs of Canada. They make no efforts to look into how their policies will affect the lives of the people, the system of Canada including medical systems, our infrastructure or housing. They do not care if our society can have enough to support these low skilled workers and families, and also the new refugees and families. Can our economy support all these new families? Nowadays the economy of the world is so challenging, but would these policies makers care about this? They are not stupid then there must be some reasons behind. How can the normal citizens protect their rights? BUT wait…, all these new families are growing, these new comers will protect their rights too….

ONE DAY Canadian will be the refugee in their own country

No problem with housing. The massive influx of refugees that ends up unemployed is the issue.

Enough of this loophole; either you’re a student or a refugee- you cannot be both.

Do people forget Palestinians are just refugees from the Arab world.

They need to investigate every claim. International students getting their visa denied doesn’t make them all refugees or needing asylum. Consequences are needed!!

Canada is not a refugee hotel to rack up expenses on the back of Canadians

It's unfair that students who arrived with substantial fees from their home countries are now being considered refugees. The government should simply refuse their registration without processing their claims. They clearly do not fit the definition of refugees, so why register them and provide them with food, medicine, bus tickets, park passes, and toys for their children? It’s frustrating to see refugee children enjoying state-of-the-art tech gadgets while our own kids struggle to get proper school lunches

Immigration minister just shows concern but won’t do anything to prevent this. And this clown PM he wants to bring more refugees to help them. How about you help your own citizens who are struggling. Taking high taxes from hard working canadians and giving them to refugees who have contributed nothing to this economy.

Reject all international students claiming Refugee status…..

My family were refugees fleeing from the Vietnam war due to fear of communism and religious prosecution of being Catholic . We came to Canada in 1989. My parents had little to no money , they didn't speak english before. They work hard and did any menial labour job to support the family and help my siblings go to school. We lived here for over 30 years, integrated as Canadian citizens.\n\nIf their legit political asylum seekers or refugees seeking help thats fine. But I don't think its right for people to abuse and exploit the system to skip ahead in line for permanent residence/ citizenship and get free handouts from tax payers money.

Most of those international students applied refugee visas from india and they should deport them right way without even check their files.

These employers, along with immigration consultants, homeowners, and small business owners, perpetuate the narrative of a labor shortage to justify continued immigration for their profits but that immigration is tearing the values of our society apart. I fear, soon Canadian passports on the international airports will be treated like a third world country passport. This situation raises questions about the true necessity of immigration in Canada, especially when other countries do not seem to have the same demand. The influx of older international students, particularly from India, taking jobs that could go to Canadian youth, further fuels the debate.

This is because Canada made asylum is the easiest option to get permanent residency. While harder for the students. Most of those int' students were completely fine back in their home country. Now theyre making a 100% false story, false documents to get their asylum approval. Allowing asylum claim for everyone, providing benfits for the claimants and ultimately giving easy approval is direct injustice to the students who studied, paid tuition, worked hard during PGWP. Making everything easier for the fake refugees encourage those false / unqualified / half-qualified students to claim asylum.

Just wonder why the 4 million Syrians didn't have a problem to leave Syria as refugees but the palestinians do? Maybe because they have a different ajenda? Maybe something religious? Letting everything happen right under our noses for past 2 decades, and then saying Oh there was a mistake we need to set things right is not a mature way of handling these educated people, most of whom have Masters degrees under their belts. Why so much hate for educated people, we have land, resources and so many towns which needs people with different skills. Train them free of cost and use them for the betterment of the country, why so much love for only refugees and people who come here illegally and without proper credentials, and not for someone who have submitted 100 documents during visa processing....

I completely agree with the answer That Foreign Minister has given. Why would our Palestinian Brother and Sister Should leave their motherland, It is their right to fight for their land. Every Muslim country knows if they starts taking Palestinian refugee then israel will take over the whole country. Thats what they want. Its what they want. Well lets be fair, why blaming immigrants on the current problem that Canada is facing right now?. no one taking a job from Canadian, it just that somes don’t like to work here in a minimum wages and sometimes they can’t stay longer in their work and quit very easily. So we can’t blame the companies to chose those people who are accepting the low job salary. However, Canada is a country who always loves welcoming immigrants that is why they choose to come here but\nEverything is out of control now so limiting is the best option but not only for immigrants, but try to limit also accepting a refugee as well. While legally they have no rights to protest, this government was complicit in selling the dream to the international student. They were told this is a pathway for pr and many did receive PR following that process.\nFunny thing is that I know international students continue to arrive. That’s because the government probably promised these colleges more victims to pay high tuition fees.\nEveryone is scamming everyone.\n\nRightfully or wrongly this government decided we need more people in the country. This is for economic reasons. Also Canadians were happy to receive Covid handouts and we had a labour shortage.\n\n\nOnce can check how much money it cost the Canadian government to raise someone to tax paying age.
