Immigrants fly to Montreal posing as tourists. The airport border patrol officer welcomes them with a smile, wishes them a nice vacation and stamps their passport. The immigrants make their way to the border somewhere between Maine and New York. They sneak across the border at night. The problem is that Canada lets everyone in as long as they have something that resembles a passport. Canada needs to stop the open border “immigration to all” system at the international airports and shipping ports.

If we stopped these people at the border and made them stay in the country they entered, Canada, and Mexico. How long do you think they would tolerate this before they stopped it. While a mass of people trying to cross our border is wrong, we should be encouraging people to follow the proper legal channels, not stopping them. The speedy processing of applications will clear the years long backlog. Either you are in or out, not in limbo.
