I’ve never seen a surge in Canadian patriotism like this. Never in my seven decades —which includes the two Referenda on Quebec separation. I used to think that the idea that Trump is a Russian asset was just a conspiracy theory. I am not sure of that now as how else to you explain why Trump is doing everything he can to undermine the USA? Why else would you cause a breech between the US and our allies Canada and Mexico? Why else would he destroy the infrastructure of our country through Musk and Doge? Why else would you stop all aid to Ukraine? Why would you stop cyber operations targeting Russia? Why would he set up an operation to humiliate the leader of an allied country fighting for its life against Russian aggression? Why would you send your vice president to Germany and have him insult our allies and not meet with the leadership of the country but rather meet with the essentially neo-Nazi Alternative for Germany? None of this--and many other actions--makes sense unless you begin to understand that Trump is actively trying to weaken our country to the benefit of the Russians. I know it is hard to believe but I can find no other explanation.

Let's see, make peace at reasonable cost with a man who's war with Ukraine showed the world that they cannot last in war with US on a military vs military bases; and the only option against the US is a nuclear, while Zelenskyy want's to use US as a deterrent against Putin, all while asking the US for billions. On the other hand, Canada, Mexico and Panama are being over ran by chinese businesses. People think this is against Canadians, Mexicans and Panamanians, but these tariffs are against chinese who are manufacturing in these countries and bypassing tariffs already in place by the US. The chinese are manufacturing in Canada and Mexico and placing (made in Canada/Mexico) and shipping those items to the US, while Canada and Mexico do nothing.

Trump just made 2 announcements:\n\n1. He’s cutting off military aid to Ukraine, which has large deposits of rare earth minerals, basically handing it off to Putin on a silver platter.\n\n2. TSMC, a Taiwanese semiconductor manufacturing company is investing $200 billion dollars in the US and he’s taking credit for the creation of jobs this will generate.\n\nWhat do you need to make semiconductors? Rare earth minerals! Anyone smart enough to put two and two together would know that Trump, Musk and Putin are in cahoots to take Ukraine’s minerals and the meeting with Zelensky in the Oval Office in front of cameras was just to corner him and make him look like an ungrateful dictator so Americans would rally against him and justify cutting off military aid.\n\nThe Republicans in congress are set to make a pretty good fortune by playing defense. On top of this there's Tulsi Gabbard who the Ruzzians themselves have publicly stated IS an Agent of theirs for the last Decade.
