As a European living in Canada I noticed right after we got here that quality and even availability of good European product is lacking. All the American backwards product never impressed me. Honestly everyone is to blame. Canada and Mexico have both been riding the American gravy train for decades and never got slapped by any of the former presidents. This is a good step in the right direction. Cut down public sector spending. Since the targets for foreign students are much lower, and the anticipated immigration # should be lower in the next few years, we don't need as many immigration workers. I do hope Immigration Canada would prioritize applicants with higher education, skills that Canada need, etc.

I live in Canada. A citizen now, love this country but India is and will always be a home. Canada is facing hard times currently, which is being faced by every country now and then but even the cause root of all these problems Canada is facing right now is coming from somehow from India. The most disruptive and disturbing people are here from India only with no civic sense. They come here and do not value the Canadian culture at all. They do all sort of illegal activities and try to do jugaad in everything, from which we escaped from India. Even on political grounds, the man who somehow messed up everything was under the influence and pressure of the man having Indian roots. I love India without a doubt but we can’t deny the real facts why Indians are being hated everywhere. We were military so lived right across Canada, and I can tell you the worst province in Canada is Saskatchewan. I don't have enough thumbs to turn down. The people are Very unfriendly. Think there better than everyone else, and if you need compassion from the police you won't find it there. I was with a group of military wives once and we all had to say the best and worst posting we ever had. Everyone said Saskatchewan was the worst. Nova Scotia and B. C the best. . The rest of the country is great. The Maritime provinces are the friendliest. Retired widow now and live in a small town Ontario. It's very nice here.
