No one speaks about it because we dont have any hopes on India development..All these videos about difficult in Canada,UK etc are just propoganda by indian government through youtube vloggers so that immigration can be reduced or else it can ruin economy completely one day.....ur life has no value in india ...need not explain much about it

Thanks to that id10t we elected more and more Canadians are ending up like myself. Homeless and jobless because these immigrants are paid less and the government subsidizes the rest, thus making them cheap labor. This needs to change... then again, it's already too late. The irony of all this is that Canada needs immigrants to fill the job market shortages.

Unsuspecting new immigrants are generally unaware that the Canadian economy is mainly based on real estate, housing, and rent, and that to sustain it, Canadian profiteers need more and more people to come in. I bet most of them do not know that their presence in Canada only exacerbates inflation and thus making them and other working class people worse off.

Vancouver real-estate is essentially a money laundering operation for rich foreigners looking to stash their money somewhere. Protections were put in place a little to late back in 2016 with the foreign buyers tax. But honestly most of these foreigners can either be exempt from this tax with their citizenship loop hole (anchor baby) Or honestly they just pay the fine since they can afford it and just need to get their money out of the country they are coming from. Its quite dystopian because building more homes like the government keeps promising isn't going to solve the problem either. This is because its just going to add more to the volume of housing that the foreigners can buy up from the locals and adding more fuel to the problem. Immigrations Canada is lying to new comers. To top it off, BC just recently passed a law in 2024 where you can no longer build single family residences in the lower mainland area. WHERE are the families going to go then? Can anyone even afford a family anymore? Vancouverites like myself who were diligent and saved every penny are walking away from mortgages in droves because who wants to lock into a 30 year term amortization period where at rate plus prime your looking at 5.5%-7% where the bank makes more than double in interest from you. Over the course of 30 years you still lose because even if your property appreciates past double. Capital Gains will take into effect. Your loosing money no matter what! It truly is a nightmare designed to enslave you financially. This is simply wealth creation suicide. Came from immigrant parents in the 1990s, I slaved for 10 years during my twenties, didn't come from wealth, didn't party, didn't have fun, studied hard, and started a business and I still cant break into the Vancouver market. So I ended up just barely squeaking into the market in Abbotsford. Vancouverites as a whole are screwed. Time to pack up and move to Alberta I suppose. I will also preface by saying that most of BC is empty and that it would make sense to built outside of the Vancouver area as Vancouver has now basically become fiscally unlivable. It might make sense for the next government that come into power to decide to invest in building in other towns and cities around BC to incentivize Canadians to move.

Problem with Canada is not immigrants or the large number of immigrants, its the quality of immigrants which they are not able to attract, ideally they should attract the best of the best talent in whichever industry they needs human resources, and they should also cap that person or individual to work in that industry for atleast some number of years, before switching to some other type of job or business. Rather they are bringing any type of immigrant through any type of route whether job or education from around the world to study and work in their country. Its a total debacle for both people who are going to Canada and the native Canadians who are facing the heat.

Been working with a lot of immigrants and the ones who complain the most… tend to have the same mentality. They apply for every social assistance program possible, they are very demanding, and often live outside of their means. Buying expensive cars and traveling often. My family immigrated here in the 90’s as refugees and both my parents worked hard. They never took out any handouts. If you need it, get it. The big difference is the mentality. Most of my parent’s friends were the same. Came to Canada with the mentality to work hard and get a better life.

Until the infrastructure can catch up, the government needs to throtle back on immigration. With the current rates, canada is drinking from a fire hose in terms of population.

Sounds like you are speaking of permanent tourist who are looking for the free stuff and what you can get out of the country. The fact that to live in Canada you need to understand how Canadian society works. Most people from none Western Countries are not interested in integration in the Canadian society because they don't change how they lived from their home country. Mass immigration and diversity is not working because of the people moving into the country because of how different cultures don't mix.

Immigration is a good thing when laws are followed and processes are adhered to. The influx of people over the last few years of liberals opening the flood gates has proven that Canada ca NOT handle this influx and it is going to get worse before it gets better. I think, by rights, the government needs to take a step back and start overhauling the student visa program that has been reported as ongoing through fraudulent activity. I am shocked that, a government that literally doubled its manpower since 2015 is incapable of monitoring and better processing immigrants.

Send all the illegal immigrants back where they came from. Those that want to stay need to apply for legal immigration, must be properly vetted, pledge allegiance to Canada, become Canadian, leaving hatred from their previous country behind, and cannot stay here while they wait. A moratorium on all new applications for at least 10 years. This way the back log of legal immigrants can be dealt with. Stop all new international students, put a moratorium on it for at least 10 years, stop all temporary and permanent workers. All loopholes used to illegally get into the county must be stopped. This will reduce the cost of illegal immigration and solve a large portion of the lack of housing. No more government subsidies to pay for foreign workers. This will open up entry level jobs for young Canadians. No more government subsidies for anything for immigrants. If they need government support then no, you are then disqualified from coming. No more abuse of our Canadian social programs.

As a Canadian, I feel we need people to leave Canada so I can have a better life. I agree that the government completely mismanaged immigration and its impact.

They have little to none concept of living in society. Canada has stricter immigration laws than America. The USA tends to take in poor migrants compared to Canada, which tends to take in rich immigrants. All those poor migrants that come to America need government assistance to live and America can't afford it!

My wife and I moved to Canada about a decade ago from post-Soviet states, where we both grew up with not much more than our smarts and a strong work ethic. When we arrived, adapting/integrating Canadian values, especially work ethics, was a big deal for us. Those first few years were tough, we really had to hustle to improve our lives. Now, a decade later, we're both in pretty solid tech and science jobs. Our child had the incredible privilege of being born in Canada, and that fills me with immense joy.\n\nIt wasn't just our own grit that got us where we are now; we owe a lot to the incredibly welcoming Canadians we met along the way. I'm thankful every day for the awesome, kind-hearted folks we've met. Canadians are truly some of the best people around, and despite lots and lots of issues, Canada is one of the greatest countries in the world. I think Canada should shut it's borders completely NO IMMIGRANTS at all except the most severe cases for asylum. Once we get back on out feet get housing, unemployment and our budget balanced better then slowly look at what Canada needs. Our university students can't get jobs because we aren't trained personel. Trudeau policy doesn't force companies here to train he let's them hire from outside Canada. So here it's useless to get higher education knowing at graduation you get to work at Tim Hortons

Am I missing something here, Im not sure about open door anything, if you want a job you need to have work permit, if you are old and not eligible for working/holiday visa you need a visitor visa and look for an LMIA approved job ONLY, while already Canada, jobless, as a visitor, IF you get the offer its only then you can apply for work permit and after you got it then they hire you. is that how it usually goes? Or you have tens of thousands of dolars for a college you get study permit that enables you to work too. So, I dont see how is immigration to Canada easy and I have absolutely no clue how Indians and rest of the gang do it in such large numbers. Do they all just come on visitor visa and hope for the best? what about accommodation, money?

I have been in Canada for 28 years, as an Immigrant myself, i can tell you, you don't need to be a born canadian to see the spike of immigration and changes that happened to this country as a result from that. i went to Niagara Falls last year, i couldn't move around due to the flood of sooooo many people. i understand that it is a touristic place, but the only tourists i saw are coming from India or pakistan. and i doubt that they flew from there. and before calling racist or anything, i am brown too... the latest idea in my head, is to go back home. if i went across an ocean to find the same people that i left, what is the point ?!, i just go back and have them as neighbors....

I’m a 1st generation immigrant too and I worked too hard to get my permanent residency instead of protesting. It’s hard to go back, situation in not good but they have to understand that going back is not the end of life. In addition, I also suggest you to put some sort of disclaimer in your video to avoid people from hating Indian community. Due to some people and some poor policies too that allowed such people in the country, there is a rising hate for community and your video can trigger it even more although I personally stand for the side that you are showing but there’s a second side of this as well. Canada’s government need to tax rich, tax people who save on taxes with loopholes, and then incentivize having kids, add a better child support payment, increase student grants for people to gain skills that will help them in achieving a better paying job and Canadians feel more ready to give birth to a child.
