Regarding Canadian Gun Control, a few clarifications, just to show the difference with the US and how Canadian gun owners are some of the safest and law-abiding people:\n1. They take safety courses and they have to pass the tests at over 90% score\n2. All licensed Canadian gun owners get their background checks done every 24 hours. Every single day. More than criminals.\n3. Licensed Canadian gun owners can own semi-automatic firearms with magazine capacities of 5 or 10, depending on the type, and they use them safely every day for hunting and sporting purposes. So no, not ALL semi-automatic rifles are banned. Same thing with shotguns. \n4. Non-semi automatic rifles and shotguns have no magazine capacity limits.\n5. There is an urban vs. rural misconception among Canadians. Those who live in the big cities do not understand the reasons to own guns, while generally those who live in the country and isolated areas have many reasons to own guns, such as hunting, pest control and predator defence.\n6. Canadian gun owners do not have the right to carry handguns in public. They can only be taken to the range and then back home. They have to be unloaded and locked the whole time. You can only load at the range.\n7. Canadian gun owners do not have the right to carry rifles and shotguns either, the same way as in the US. When transported, they need to be unloaded, locked and hidden from sight in your car at all times. \n8. Finally, fully-automatic/assault rifles have been banned in Canada since 1977. \n\n\nHaving put this case aside, the majority of gun crimes happening in Canada come from illegal guns smuggled from the United States, not by law-abiding licensed Canadian gun owners. \nHopefully this will help understand the difference in culture between the two countries.

As an Indian living in India, I also hate Canadians as well. They stereotype whole India without realizing the diversity of India. They are putting the blame on Indians, but not ready to acknowledge their immigration policy is poor. Your immigration policy should encourage bright minds to move there, but their selection criteria favours particular religion, area and people. Punjab is only a small part of India and so is Gujarat. Majority of Indians don't care about Canada.

So I understand why Canadians feel they way they do. Especially the ones born and raised here. I'm 31, was born here, and I often feel the same way everyone else does. The only problem that I see is that the issues that are in Canada are also in every other Western country. I'm concerned with the future, but I also know that throughout every generation, there are ups and downs. I'm willing to stick it out. I live outside of Toronto,I love the lack of natural disasters and access to water, and I still feel very safe. Although crime is up, it is nothing compared to the U.S. \n\nI'm actually living quite comfortably. Although my costs have gone up, I have made smart decisions in my life that allow me to live well. I own my own house, don't have car or credit card debt, and I only need to earn 40k a year to cover all of my bills. Every cent extra I earn goes to paying down my mortgage, gym, and golf once a week. \n\nThe question is, is it better l elsewhere? I don't know, but I am trying to be happy with what I have instead of what I could have had by being born 30 years too late. Ultimately, I would rather stay here work within the system to change it and continue to make smart decisions that put me ahead. Starting out all over again makes my stomach sick, and I love this country, despite it's flaws and its government, it has great people and beautiful nature. \n\nBest wishes to all of you other Canadians, and let's make it the Canada we want and deserve again.

I'm 54 years old and i moved away from my beautiful Canada over 2 years ago. I knew when Eastern Welfare Canada voted in Turdo that he would destroy it and put us in debt like every Liberal government does. I live in the US but I really want to visit Canada! Some people do wear their shoes in the house in America as I’ve seen it but I can’t stand putting shoes up on furniture, especially my bed! To me, that’s disgusting. I’m glad most Canadians don’t do that!

I left Canada finally after many many years of debating for myself. It’s the best thing I ever did. I have a really good job, that pays me more than three times my monthly overhead. After literally struggling in Canada for 30+ years as an adult trying to keep a job amongst colleagues that hate you for everything that I was and wasn’t, had and didn’t have. I’m very happy that I left and can go to work peacefully everyday, without needing to feel like I’m a piece of crap that doesn’t have the right to exist. I came to Canada at age 12 with my parents. And was always called names, always under minded, overlooked, put down, bullied and never had a single job that also contributed to my pension. When I left Canada, immigration Canada emailed me daily for three months telling me to come back to Canada IMMEDIATELY lol. Because my home country wasn’t safe enough to live in. I’m from Belgium. It’s much safer, friendlier, empathic and prosperous than Canada ever was

It is hard to pinpoint a specific reason why, but since the COVID 19 pandemic the economy in the whole world got weaker and the natural instinct of the people is to find something to blame. \n\nSome countries blame immigrants, others blame refugees, others blame poor government, others blame weak currency policy, like in Japan. If there were no indians in Canada they would just find something else to put the blame on. Indians immigrants are just easier to spot.

I know some peeps who moved to Canada got lump sum from gov, didn't pay their rent, collected monthly cheques for the 3 kids and after 10 months left the apartment and put a down payment on a house !!! messed up !!!

Landlords do not want to rent their places because of stories like this and THAT is why there is a shortage of rental housing in Canada! Why would any landlord want to put themselves in such a vulnerable position, potentially not getting rent and in turn not being able to cover their OWN mortgage. Does the bank let people not pay their mortgage for a year?! No! I know so many people who have empty suites that they won’t rent out because they are worried about tenants not leaving when it isn’t working out or when they want their space back etc. It’s so frustrating as an owner and parent of kids who are getting older and who are looking for rentals. If the tenancy board can’t do their job then get rid of them and hire new people who can.

Why should this country you're fleeing to take you in? Instead of fleeing Canada, why don't you fight for it? Did you vote for the Liberals that are screwing up Canada? Canada's becoming far too expensive. I'm retired now and will be putting my house on the market in September. As soon as it's sold, I'll be off for where I can have access to a good health care system, something that's become more and more important for me as I age.

Math is simple: countries like Turkey pay almost the same salary in euros, yet the cost of living there is much lower. In countries like the USA, Canada, or certain Arab nations, the salaries can be 5-10 times higher. In places like Turkey, there are plenty of affordable yet high-quality restaurants, as well as effective marketing strategies that appeal to skilled professionals. To retain talent in Germany, you need to offer something special. If you’re paying a top-level engineer the equivalent of a hairdresser’s wage, why would they stay unless they’ve developed deep connections with the community or environment? Friendships and relationships can be crucial factors in retaining talent.\n\nBut with this current pay structure, I’m really not sure what to say. If you put high educated people in a bad position, plenty of contries offering them higher life conditions. It is same for Germans, Germany creating very good engineers, doctors, etc and they are leaving the country.\n\nMaybe instead of creating making migration easier. It is aslo good idea to retain yours.

Same story, also moved to Canada(French Canada!!! :D) when I was 4, I'm 32, been in Canada like 24 years. Easy fit, my Dad was Canadian, so got Naturalized easily. I left Canada at the end of 2020. Mostly because of Covid/Work Opportunities in engineering. Now living in the USA with my Canadian Wife and visiting Canada 2 months every year, also happen to be born American, so again, easy(easier**, still hard) move for me. Currently working in engineering, less travel experience, but I did get to visit or work for long period of time in 5 countries. Anyway, I do have similar opinion, I think the solution is a federal housing initiative. We NEED to build north and have more cities than Toronto,Montreal & Vancouver. It would reduce rent & mortgage by a lot. Essentially solving the ''where are we going to put all those immigrants issue'', then secondly, we need to encourage entrepreneurship and business a lot more. We need more jobs and be less reliant on our USA neighbors or EU neighbors 3. Better transport, surprisingly a lot of Canadian don't visit all other Canadian province and prefer traveling out , hell, I want nothern Canada & Nothern Quebec to be more like Alaska, or make it easier from someone from Quebec to move to Alberta, but still easy enough to visit family and friends in their home state in under 3 hours. ;)

I was actually thinking about moving to Canada. But the last few months and countless videos of people getting the hell out of there has put me right off. Canada's peace, safety, security, and economy are being negatively impacted by some individuals who come to Canada on student visas, particularly those from India. These individuals are allegedly committing various crimes such as carjacking, theft, and other offenses to support themselves financially while living in Canada and sending remittances to their families in India. Unfortunately, their actions do not contribute positively to Canadian society or the economy; instead, they place a significant financial burden on the economy and create unrest in the community.The Canadian government must put a 5-10 year ban on Indian student and deport all those who are involve in illigal activities or does not have financial funding from their home country to study and live in Canada.

I left Canada at the end of last year. After years of busting my butt and trying to get ahead, i wasn't going anywhere. \nThe job that i had worked at for years decided to outsource my entire team to another country and i was left with a decision to try and atart from scratch or atart fresh elsewhere. \nSo i booked a flight to Thailand and i spent three months there. While going on a border run to get a visa extension, i went to Cambodia. It was just a short trip, but it keftnits mark on me and ive been here for almost six months now. \nI didnt like how i felt back in Canada and i didnt like what i was seeing the countey become. Instead i ended up in a country that had been through one if the worst thjngs imaginable and the people were the most lively and welcoming that I've ever met. They decide to put light into the world and that resonates with me. \nGood luck with your next chapter. Change can be great. Its also easier to adapt when you find a place you love

Hi! I'm an American with the 'dream' of immigrating to Canada for many years. Got permanent residency and am working in Montreal for the summer to try it out and.... really shocked about the high taxes vs. the quality of the roads for example :/ What social benefits are Canadians really getting? Although the pace of life and culture is nice, it is hard to make less money here as a teacher than I could be in the US, and with some bullsh*t to put up with (pardon my language). And although I feel safe here, I can't believe how car thefts are so brazen and common. I might just become a seasonal visitor after all.

Hey! I live in Edmonton Alberta Canada,population around 1.2 million. We have a huge awesome river and river valley that is utilized year round. There are non stop festivals, right now we have the Cari West the largest Caribbean festival in western Canada. Our tap water is amazing, my daughter rents the main floor of a renovated house that includes a garage for 1,400 a month. Gorgeous south side neighbourhood within walking distance to anything. Lots of imperfections as it is a big city and yes there is crime but it does not define what I do and where I go except possibly late at night. The cold in the winter is tolerable for the most part but that doesn’t stop any one from outdoor activities. Just put your warm clothes on and just get out there. I get fed up with winter when it drags on but all of a sudden we’ve been having record breaking heat this summer so I am looking forward to Autumn. We’re 4 hours from the fabulous Rocky Mountains and the wonderful city of Calgary is about an hour 1/2 from there. Alberta is my province and Edmonton is my home. The rest of Canada varies from one province to another. PS. We’ve travelled to various locations in the U.S. and were always treated well and enjoyed our visits, just sayin!

As an Indian i agree with Canadians as students were not promised the PR , they were only promised study visa. And to get pr in canada one must put in a lot of work and be eligible doesn't matter from where the immigrant came, protest won't change anything

They are in Russia causing racial conflicts in Russia possibly as Ingush and Dagestan peoples. It is very likely these are the folks that are attacking us all for racial hatred. Its clear they don't like Africa. Its clear they don't like Europe. Its clear they don't even like their Middle Eastern and Ashkenazi Jewish cousins. \n \nIt is NOT a coincidence that the regions these folks live in are under wars and massive migration movements today. (Israel, Russia/Ukraine, mass Migration of South America, mass Migration of Northern Africa, French Canadian Separatism). I mapped it. They are in EVERY region with wars and displaced migrants today. \n \nIndian Sikhs look like Dagestans. So they might be impersonating Sikhs now. They are causing havoc in Britain, Canada and Guyana. Trying to make money on illegal immigration out of territories they are trying to expand their own peoples INTO. \n \nThey look Middle Eastern they might be impersonating Palestinians and Israeli Jews too. You know all those protestors fueling the war in Israel. \n \nPlease get wise to their anti-European propagandas and stop attacking Europeans because THESE folks don't like us. News flash: they don't like non-Europeans either. These are the people creating chaos. They are impersonating all of our peoples trying to get us to fight each other to take advantage of the chaos. Don't enable them. \n \nTHINK. Do your research....make sure you aren't just someone else's puppet. These folks are dangerous. If you are NOT one of these folks DO NOT support crimes or false propagandas that attack other races before making sure. Don't just believe them when they shove you across the globe in migration when they tell you that you are legal.

Im in BC . I got rid of the tenants cuz they would be late. Filled 15 non payment / late payment notices with the tenancy branch and delivered to tenant. The tenancy branch did absolutely NOTHING. 8 months later and loosing $36, 000 I made the decision to never rent ever. I got Airbnb license and am glad I made the right choice. I make the same rental income with no headache, and less use of the house. My two friends who had rental properties just stopped renting and sold them and put their monies into other businesses. Id say if you are renting, sell them and do something else cuz its a no win situation in canada. These politicions know there are more renters to give them the votes.

Immigration is always a short cut to avoid tackling the right problem. Canada is a country of many opportunities. My observation is that people are not making effort to work harder, too many regulations also limit companies to make great innovation that brings wealth here. Immigrants who come to Canada have an enormous amount of energy to build the country but the system always puts aside and cannot unlock their full potential. Just my observation only.

For the cover picture i think you should put indians as canada doesnt have an immigration problem. It has an INDIAN immigration problem. I am indian myself saying this
