Bro, I'm living in Vancouver from last year. Took 40 Lakhs of Loan for My MBA, chipped in money for fees. Till date I've got no benefit from Canada, except for bills and spending money on taxes and rent. This is damn true! - Work permits are getting queries, PR files are getting rejection. No job part time opportunities.\n\n1. Renting a room, especially for boys is the hardest if you are looking a private room. (my rent is 950$ for a private room, i struggle to pay this every month - without having a job)\n2. All banks want you to get enrolled as a student, then give credit cards, so you can easily buy things and pay them more and get you involved in the loop. \n3. I've applied in almost every job for part time, got rejection due to no available positions (Reasons : too many applicants)\n4. You are not gonna get a job in your field, unless you are into finance or IT with a found background.\n5. I DAILY SEE OUR PEOPLE ALSO GETTING ATTRACTED TO THIS CULTURE, SMOKING WEED ON A DAILY BASIS AND DOING MANY THINGS WHICH I FEEL STUDENTS MUST NOT DO. \n6. For my chest pain, they kept me waiting 4 hours in a line. Asked me that if i can stand and sit for a while then i must not worry. I was completely weak at that time, shivering and going through 101 fever.\n7. 75$ monthly for MSP insurance we pay as temporary residents -> still waiting for 4 hours to meet the doctor.\n8. Current situation of students is worse here, no opportunities for many students who come with hope, especially if they are coming for PGDM, or bachelors. Currently at this time only, MASTERS is given a priority.\n9. Don't think about applying for PR, unless you are filthy rich, unless you have exceptional skills in the industries which IRCC is looking for.\n10. Racism is at its peak, especially only on students** sad thing to say but yes this is the reality of international students.\n\n\nI hope all my brothers and sisters here come with a planning, strategy and best and worst case scenarios preparation. Life here is not easy, if you once come here, institutions, your own people will get you involved into buying things, showing you dreams and holding you on paying the EMIs monthly.

My father in law got medical treatment in Canada worth $300000 CAD when he was on visitor status. Their medical system is not broken but problem is their system was not ready for too many people in short time and this is failure of internally miscordination between government departments from Trudeau administration .

I’ll give my honest opinion. I have stayed in Canada for 3 years from 2018 - 2021 during which I have also worked there. The good thing about that country is almost no pollution and less population and the people are also friendly. However, the costs of housing, medical and other expenses have risen considerably and it’s very difficult to save money and enjoy life freely. The big cities like Toronto and Vancouver are out of reach for the students in terms of rent. Also my own roommate was a victim of crime as 2 college students robbed him and fortunately he only suffered minor injuries. There is also shortage of jobs due to recession. Even though there are many problems in India but in today’s time the best country to live is India!! ????

I would say India has the overall better & dynamic healthcare system. Comparing to healthcare facilities in western nation, in India the waiting time to consult a specialist, even a super-specialist is too too low, maximum a week waiting time. Easy accessible, low waiting times also associated with few cons like, people don't respect the doctors, healthcare system. The prime example is rising trend of abuse and physical assault to doctors in India which is hardly seen in any western countries. Nowadays Central govt funded Ayushman Bharat and many state funded universal health care schemes/ insurances also benefiting the patients, giving them access to get treatment in top private hospital without paying from own pocket. Indian healthcare is not perfect, may not the best but its towards better and bent towards the affordability.

As a canadain It is starting to get more and more like that in Canada for politics. They're either extremely to the right or extremely to the left. There's not too many times where you can have a genuine conversation about it as much anymore. But it doesn't help our prime minister is a goof

You need to know that people don't study medicine in North America is because many high pay doctor positions are limited to citizens only. The only way you could survive in Canada is if you own a property that is mostly paid off. Even then, I've contemplated leaving many times because it's too cold. Even in the south (Toronto), I'm always disappointed with the lack of warmth in all seasons. I want a true hot summer, warmer falls and springs and a mild winter. The swim season is waaay too short.

If there is 3X migration from India, compared to, let's say Iran, it is basically Canada is setting 6X LENIENT immigration conditions for IRAN, given that India is 18 times that of Iran. \nIn countries like Germany, there are double as many from tiny Kosovo, as India and China taken together. I came from France back in 2015 whith my familly when Harper was still prime minister at the time , really I'd say things have been really great , my family and I have worked hard to get to where we are today and have always wanted to give back to our community here but I am disgusted to see in 2024 what Trudeau has done to the country and to see that immigration is no longer as prestigious as it used to be. Unlike some people we have today, I had to wait 3 years with my family before receiving approval to move to Canada (after so many exams, appointments and waiting times). I did my middle school here until college and I'm currently still looking for work in correctional and when I see that people arrive here afterwards without being permanent residents, who are literally flooding spots at colleges/university and also jobs that are normally open for young canadians in their 15-16 (When I was in high school, my first job was at a McDonald's, and without exception, everyone there was Canadian. I traveled with my son and mother, we drove from Montreal to Florida . Did several stops along the way . Visited many things and I have to say it was a magnificent trip, my son was 5 at the time and made many new friends. For us it was very enjoyable. Our visit lasted one month. Love those Florida oranges ?

Everything is fragile you know. When you allow certain foreigners in a country and teach them to adapt to the culture, they get the best of living in a developed country by following their own personal beliefs. A complete stop on illegal immigration. Send those came in illegally back home. A check of all those that came in under the claim for asylum, background check, history check, vet them correctly. A complete stop on new international students. Close all loop holes that have been used to by-pass our laws. A moratorium on immigration for a minimum of 10 years or longer, that way the legal immigrants can be processed in a timely manner. Anyone who refuses to pledge allegiance to Canada and reject hatreds from their previous counties need to be deported immediately. Since the elections are coming and Liberals know they ain't coming back, this is just a one last hope for them to bring this sensitive topic because they know people would unite since the majority of people in here already have a hate towards immigrants just to win back the votes. It's the governments fault for not being able to keep up with the necessary housing and healthcare needed for the people. You all should be protesting against the government for sending money for the war and giving away in the name of philanthropy. And I don't understand why True North spread hates all over instead of uniting people. And by the way I am a Canadian citizen and I strongly support the immigration big time.

They love america.. they get good jobs easy over here.. most of them get better paying jobs than us citizens and they have no social security number.. They stick together over here, their people get them brand new cars, jobs and apartments.. When i lived in Charlotte many of the women from central america had an apartment, car and job within a week of being here.. Many of the women come here pregnant or immediately get pregnant. They can get free medical and food cards for their children when their born on us soil.. Construction companies, cleaning services, restaurants, salons and hotels will hire them before they hire people who already live here because of their good work ethic reputation.. High rent doesnt bother them because alot of migrant live in groups of 5 to 10 people.. That usually means at least 2 to 3 men working in the same home.. Thats 2 to 3 incomes so 1600 to 2500 rent is nothin to them..Not to mention their wives work half the time so thats another income..

Stop assuming if you're an international student, that all your problems will be solved if you get Canadian citizenship. Stop assuming you can bring over your spouse and they can get easy work visas and your elderly parents can get easy Canadian pensions. Yes, there are no guarantees in life, but immigration consultants aren't instructing you to be realistic about immigrating to Canada even if you are a nurse, studied in STEMs or structural engineering etc. Alberta could start charging provincial taxes, Quebec could cut off their welfare. And other Canadian cities could stop collecting garbage all the time and not fix their roads because many people can't afford to pay their property taxes due to high employment. The globalists want 15 minutes cities. The federal government is assuming massive immigration will solve Canada's aging population. It won't. Health care is actually better in 2nd and 3rd countries if you have the money. Even if your home country is at war, it's still better than the drug crisis in the major cities of Canada. No joke. Now, does everyone get it? Canada can not afford to pay for any social programs, even with taxing the middle class to death. This isn't about racism or blaming any mirgants it's about corrupt dishonest politicians who will increase the number of children living in poverty. Canada is the worst place to immigrate to!
