Trump is just a blowhard bully who thinks he’s cool because he’s surrounded himself with the richest people in the world. \n\nHe’s like the nerdy kid in a high school movie who thinks he’s cool because he let the jocks use his house for a party when his parents are away. Except, he doesn’t know that the “cool kids” are going to take advantage of him, raid the liquor cabinet, leave him with the bill for the pizza, and leave the house trashed before they walk away laughing about it. Then mom and dad are going to return with the house in tatters and the kid with Sharpie on his face.\n\nOf course, in reality, Trump is probably pocketing a few million/billion dollars so he and his family can leave the country when it’s all said and done. Trump and his Billionaire Buddies have no desire to make America “great again,” they just want to squeeze the country for every last dollar and leave to another part of the world.

Anyone who ever was a victim of bullying understands exactly what is going on and how it will end for those who wants to appease/bend to the bully. Yes, it will be painful for Canada, extremely. But you have to get really sick in order to recover stronger than ever before. Zelensky knew the inner workings of how bullies work so he probably knew the white house meeting won't end cordially especially it is occupied by people he has no love for and he understood the lack of love was mutual. I think he'd bent over and wagged his tail if he thought that'd help his nation but knowing that will not get his country anywhere anyways, why would he bend over and try to please someone who was determined to screw him and his country to begin with. Zelensky saw how Canadian prime minister was treated and how he tried to please Mr. T yet to no avail. Yes, Zelensky has no real good, readily available cards to play. Bravo Canada. I didn't vote for Trump and I can't explain why any American with critical thinking skills would. This is pretty common in the US. Since most delivery drivers don't carry coins some people think that they can bully them into giving more back. I usually asked for a card and then took the food back if they refused. If they don't care that the money they take comes out of the driver's pocket why should I care that they didn't get to eat the food they ordered?

I can envision a situation where Trump targets Australia next with his aggressive policies. In response, we should consider implementing a boycott against American products and establish tariffs on imports from the United States. It's essential that we stand firm and refuse to let Trump and his administration intimidate us into submission. Australia deserves to protect its interests and maintain its sovereignty in the face of such bullying tactics.

If there are alternatives to American products then I buy alternatives . \n\nSomethings are unavoidable- like apple products but I buy 1 new iPhone every 4 to 5 years. \n\nHouseholds don’t have to buy many high tech American products. We don’t have to buy American cars or refrigerators or ovens. \n\nI don’t drink Starbucks or eat macdonalds. I prefer smaller local cafes and support local businesses. \n\nIt’s impossible to be pure. But just because it isn’t doesn’t mean that American companies won’t feel the pain\n\nI won’t holiday in the USA either.
