I agree with all the points, as a Muslim that have been raised in Europe and living currently in Canada, I always thought that Islam was stronger here than in Europe, one of the reasons why I decided to move here, until I came to see with my own eyes scary things, mostly the indoctrination part ? omg. There is nothing better than a Muslim country, my husband and I too are moving from Canada in June inshalah ? I can’t wait to raise my children in a Muslim country, my dream came true and I cannot be more grateful ? Liberal PM Cretian was elected in 1993. He ended the Federal housing programs, and shifted the responsibility for building social housing to the provinces. Of course the provinces did nothing in response. The municipal governments put in a lot of regulation, I suppose to protect the environment, and NIMBY. Home builders only built profitable homes, which were tiny condos in towers. The risks and rewards were pushed onto the private sector, meaning only the rich could participate in the overheated housing market. Then the PRC decided to start a global plague via a badly managed bioweapons lab, causing massive inflation across the planet. The problem is complex, because humans are too stupid to manage the planet properly. Canada is just a symptom of human overpopulation and idiocy.

Partner was an assistant professor at UT, after five years we decided the city was completely unaffordable and we would never be able to afford to buy our own house, so we packed and left the country. As an American, I was unprepared for the social decay, human plight, and crumbling infrastructure of TO, the city and roads are literally disintegrating whilst obscene skyscrapers for the wealthy are being built. The further lack of competition in the economy is extraordinary and adds significantly to the inflation of retail prices, especially in food. Legally, the country is the wild west in terms of consumer protection and street crime runs rampant. The city is a farce.

I'm a vfx student completed my UG in 2023 Aug I have decided to study PG in Canada back in 2019 itself (as Canada is the largest hub for vfx industry) but gradually things are getting worse in Canada and now it affected my career because going to Canada is a very imp thing to me because courses that vfx courses that are in Canada are industry standard. I want to improve my skillset but the things are working against me ?

This story is very true. I came to Canada when i was 10. Was raised in Canada and life was great. All that changed in the last 10 years. Everything is sooo expensive you have to cut back on leisure activities that you need to keep your mind healthy after a long work week. All i did was work long hours for the necessities for me and my family. After a long conversation about a year ago with my wife, we decided to move back to Portugal (I have dual citizenship). We moved this past summer and couldnt be happier. Life here is much more laid back and you are not charged to do the simple leisure activities like going to a provincial park. Food is cheaper, housing is cheaper, insurance is cheaper and weather is 100x better. No more having to hibernate at home in the winters. Only thing i found more expensive here was electronics and fuel. Something needs to change in Canada.

You don’t have to give any reasons for leaving, just do it! I’m sure no Canadian will try to stop you. You should encourage many other Muslims to go with you. Maybe you can go fight and help free Palestine, put your money where your cap is. I think it is a marvelous, wonderful ides, hopefully you can start a Caravan of other Muslims to go with you, and they can join you in this utopia you have created in your mind of this place where you are going. I’m sure Canada was perfectly fine before your great great grandparent, grandparents, or Parents decided that a Muslim country was not where they wanted to be, and what was best for them and their families, and fled from it. What a great way to dodge the question. Yes, he's correct to some extent but there are DEFINITELY tons of Palestinians who would love to leave and join a different Arab nation. The reality is that the Arab world simply finds it easier to talk the talk. They don't want these refugees. If he was being honest he would allow the Palestinians to decide for themselves if they'd prefer to leave or stay but of course that isn't an option. Why don't they temporarily host Palestinians until the war is over?

Who has decided that all palestinians want to stay? Open the borders and let those who want to stay stay and give a choice to those who dont want to stay. Right now with this stance that the arab world has decided that all palestinians want to stay they just have no choice.

Before retiring and leaving Canada l lived just northwest of Toronto....the problem of Canada's demise is simple....poor government that decided to give the people everything they asked for but ignored the outcome.....but that's not unusual look at most countries that adopted the baby state option.... it's just not working

Never compare a country with another. We are all educated immigrants who decided to immigrate over to Canada. Im from India, Canadians ive dealt with for my last 10 years are super friendly and sweet people. Yes as a Canadian now i love this soil, weather and i would not mind even giving my life for this country who has made my life better and given me all freedom to live my life the way i want.

I came to Canada in 1970 from a tropical country. I love this country that I married one. Its\nthe best country in the world and I am proud of it. My advice is before moving to another country go see and learn the culture before you decide to stay Of course in the west you have to work inorder to support you and your family nothing is FREE!

I totally agree that this country will break your spine and test your ultimate willpower. Me and my wife came here 5 years back and we decided that we will shut ourselves like a tortoise. Forget about savings and forget about everything else. Only and only one goal we had in mind is that we will live in the basement and earn top dollars. Just to give you a perspective. My first pay was 19 dollar per hour and my current pay is 87 per hour. My wife started with 16.5 per hour and now earning 69 per hour. Even though our income grew substantially, we never raised our expenses. Answer to all problems in Canada is income. Now after 5 years we bought house worth of 1.4 M. We moved out of basement and felt immense pride. We paid 37% down payment and 3 banks approved our mortgages in a heartbeat. No debt at all. We paid up our car in full. Just a regular new suv nothing fancy. \nEveryone is different, we all are unique and I believe you took a right decision. Each and every word you said in the video is true. \nWe cried , we fought , we felt that our life is ruined but we both thought that ek bar to Canada ko harana hai. Itni income generate karenge ki sala CRA shock ho jaye progress dekh ke. We literally cried when we saw our YTD on Dec 31,2023. We crossed 300k and lately to be honest we got a kick in living in basement. Ok so this isn't going to be very popular... but let me posit a hypothesis: the rising housing costs might indicate that the city is doing something right, because people are willing to pay more to live there. Supply and demand, right?\n\nI bought a couple of condos within last 10 years. They nearly doubled in value. I'm renting them out at 2300 and 2400/mo; used to be 1500~1800 only a few years ago. They're paying for themselves and then some. It's amazing. Things are great from my perspective.\n\nIf enough people decide that the current housing price isn't worth it and move, the prices should come down. I doubt it'll happen though. QE injected s**t ton of money into global financial system and this phenomenon is worldwide.

We are US Americans. When our child decided to attend the University of Toronto, out-of-country, 15-some years ago, we researched so much, including the university’s international student pulse. We were horrified to learn the lion’s share of UofT’s international students body intended to use UofT not for a high-caliber education but as a fast-path gateway into the US upon graduation, if not before. International student forum members were quite clear and unapologetic their intentions. In the years since, the US has learned most of these immigrants can’t compete once here and do poorly. The reason is part expectation and part inflated self-assessment — 1. Our urban and suburban housing is just as expensive as Toronto and Vancouver, 2. We don’t have free health care except for the destitute. Even then, it’s minimal, 3. Our ivies and other great universities already supply our best employers, 4. Our academic standards are more rigorous, in most cases, to Canada’s, 5. Our winters are just as cold and snowy, 6. Our summers are so hot, your car and anything in it will melt, and 7. We generally don’t have public transportation except piecemeal in our cities. Further, most of us don’t want Trudeau’s increasingly fascist politics to take hold here, any more than they have already, under Biden.

You forgot to mention one big reason: the cult of gender ideology, enforced by the government. It is appalling to see that there is no parental authority anymore and they can put you in jail (it happened to a father, R. Hoogland because he refused his 12 year old daughter take testosterone to 'become a man'). They brainwash your kids into thinking they are born into the wrong body and when they demand to 'transition' and you, as any responsible parent, refuse, they take your kids from you and put you in jail. Pure madness, cult mentality and definitely NOT democracy! If you want freedom, don't think you will get it in Canada. Do your homework before you decide to move there.

It s not only Toronto but the whole of Canada has been hard on locals and immigrants. We re seeing more and more immigrants newly arrived who become disillusioned with Canada and decided to move out of Canada permanently due to many factors, i.e, cost of living, low salaries, housing shortages and sky high mortgages....

the shots of the tent city in allan gardens park are heartbreaking. I lived in toronto for a few months back in 2018, and that was my favourite place to hang out. I visited again for the first time in 5 years this summer and decided to go on a walk there. i was shocked to see how drastically it had changed.

Never heard of this family, but decided to watch the video and it actually makes me support their decision to leave. They are critical about everything. I think perhaps they will never find happiness in any western country. But, I also think in a dominantly muslim country they will miss the western culture...farewell

I am very happy that people who dont like Canada are deciding to go back to India, its good for us immigrants who are able to live in peace because we are ready to go through struggle and we like the country. As a doctor in Turkey, I can say that some people decide what disease they have by looking on the internet or talking to their neighbors or friends. I'm really tired of this ignorance. I don't know what doctors experience in Canada. The most important part when diagnosing a disease is the patient's complaints, history of complaints, chronic diseases, whether there is a similar disease in his family, and physical examination. Tests normally do not have much significance in diagnosis. We perform tests mostly to support our diagnosis and to follow the course of the disease. The most important part is the history and physical examination. Diagnosing themselves is nothing but ignorance. This is not what we want.

Interesting! Making an announcement that you're leaving a country and going to another country before you decided which country you want to go, looks a bit impetuous. Also leaving Canada and going to another Muslim country where literally 99.9% people are trying to go the opposite way makes me think this announcement is premature. \nAlso, I know lot of people that made an attempt to go to India from US/Canada for reasons of not wanting to raise the children in Western Culture. Among them about 90% came back to the West in less than two years. In my estimate it's even more difficult in the Islamic countries except Turkey and Dubai (which one may question if are even Islamic). \nAnyway, if you succeed and were actually able to settle, you're in the tiniest percentage of the people who were able do that; not a small feat!
