China is using Mexico to avoid paying the US to have their merchandise cross the border. One of the things I would mention is to not have Chinese merchandise cross the US-Mexico border through Mexico, thats where I think the conversation should really focus on. The problem with here is also with Khalistan issue (of course not all Punjabis there want Khalistan and are absolutely chill people and people here in India, Punjabis, also don't want Khalistan, I have some close friends who are Sikh and are most Dildaar, Big-hearted, people I know). A lot of extremist groups which want, Khalistan ARE supported and protected by the Canadian government especially by Justin Trudeau and these people are committing nothing but violence and terrorism in the name of free speech. Indian government has issued many extradition requests, but the Trudeau government has done nothing about it and has protected these extremists. Over the years Indian government has warned Canadian government about this issue constantly and after years of housing these Canadian terrorists (because Canada calls them their citizens and protects them, what else can be the correct term for them and nothing like Khalistan exists) they've started to cause problems for the people already living there (like the terrorists Pakistan was housing are causing problems to them). They know they are not gonna get a Khalistan in India so where else are they gonna build it? Voila! Canada! This is the reason behind them not assimilating with the existing culture.Trudeau has even gone to lengths of calling Amit Shah (Home minister of India) and PM Modi (if you don't know what the heck are you doing here go study geopolitics a bit) unalivers of Hardeepsingh Nijjar WITHOUT any evidence (they just keep saying they have it but have shown nothing till now) and because of which Canada has worsened its relations with the Indian Government. Now, you may think that worsening relations with India is a good thing for Canada, yeah no, its not good because India has trade relations with Canada which may worsen due to this (yeah, great going for an economy which is already in shambles) and UK or US are not gonna do anything to India over Canada because India geopolitically has more significance than Canada (I'm not bragging, please don't misunderstand). I think American policy maker should think about micro issue and go to the core problem which , to lower the cost of making food, medicine, they should ask why isn’t their cost decreasing , is it the raw materials ain’t available or how can they make the raw materials cheaper and also put a minimum and maximum floor for the price and also quantity produced.

Mexico is aiding and abetting this invasion by issuing temporary travel visas to migrants to cross through their country to the US border. If they overstay the temporary visa, they are deported from Mexico. What Trump should do is tell the Mexican leader to take back these 20 million that they let in, and after they do this, the 25% tariff will be lifted. Then once they take the 20 million back into Mexico, we should drop the 25% tariff and up the tariff to 50% to recoup the money we wasted on the illegals. They play dirty with us, so skrew em.

In conclusion, Tariffs are affective because these greedy American and Foreign corporations use cheap labor to make cheap goods that they then sell for major profit. Tariffs tend to make these companies movie to America create American Jobs and pay higher American salaries which are a significant savings over tariffs. The companies lose considerable profits but they gain market share because they understand that when you raise the price of goods you only make the American alternative more appealing.

Tariffs are a lazy man's way of avoiding the real issues that face americans at home, fix your own problems instead of blaming other people.

President Trump has done this before—if you recall, he did it last time, and within 30 days, Mexico secured the border. CNN is a joke. Border crossings are down because they know Trump isn't playing like Biden did. Mexico could do a ton more to secure the border. The fact that border arrests are down is not proof that it is not an issue.

Tariffs have not been fully negotiated. But it’s a brilliant strategy, Americans spend billions a year towards migrants and millions of Americans die of drugs, then there is the crime from migrant gangs. America is paying in their blood, treasure and also is getting polluted from human trafficking. So… if tariffs will put pressure to solve these complex issues. It is a start.

I agree in that this most likely won't solve the issue put more stress on the population and business enterprise. Climate issues will make these plans even more problematic. We currently have issues with some of the effected industries domestically. We are having to many food recalls to create import price spikes even in building materials. It's already been reported that the drugs are coming into the country in American cars...sounds like a job for man's best friend...drug canine units. Putting more efforts in less drug cou consumption could help because unfortunately druggies will be druggies and find a way to get their supplies. I saw comments about the Caribbean, our countries are not the same, there is one Caribbean country that is always in turmoil and their people are fleeing for refuge . Barbados don’t have no turmoil our people do not seek refugee status in no country. On top of that we have people from the UK, Canada and USA fleeing their country to migrate to ours, they don’t cause any issues at all. The issues are the others migrating that have different cultures and religions doing the same thing they’re trying to do in these large western countries. These people will never represent our culture or country, even if they came to get our passports.

As an Alaskan, I have a lot of relationships with my Canadian brethren to my south, both personal and business. While supply chain problems, housing crisis, poor wages, cost of living, and immigration, are all huge issues in Canada, but in my experience, by far, the absolute worst problem I have both witnessed and been a victim of, is the extreme level of crime. Especially organied crime. \n\nIn many rural areas the RCMP is literally run by organized crime, and it caused the justice system to resemble something you'd expect from a third world military dictatorship. I never hear western media discuss it, but the crime in Canada is probably some of the worst on the planet. I saw with my own eyes in New Brunswick for example, is completely controlled by organized crime. This has a very significant impact on the overall functionality of the system. \n\nIf you travel around the world, you will see just how aweful Canada is. I feel really bad for the people there.
