Racism is a cultural poison based on the basal ganglia fear of outsiders (xenophobia). The cure is introducing children to foreign languages/culture from an early age, hopefully the kids can mix with other kids speaking another language.

You Will Not find Germany as Home Ever . I am Living since 18 Years here & i never felt Home ! Also I am a so-called Skilled Worker. I finished my studies in Germany and speak above B2 German but most of my life i am Struggling for a Job , Why ? You should try it your self then you know Why ;), Speaking B2 German is not enough for native Germans. When you come into contact with them, they always want someone to speak at their level. Actually, I find myself in a TOXIC Society everyday where everyone wants you to leave. If you are a foreigner and come to Germany for work, you will get a job along with a 42% Tax and higher rent for accommodation. Racism and discrimination are prevalent in everyday life, such as being followed with eye contact by angry, uneducated Germans! \nIf You don't Believe Try it Your Self ;)

All this hate talk. Canada has a population about the size of California. We will never be overcrowded. Tokyo has 14 million people, so Toronto is a drop in the bucket, and yet Tokyo is a great city. The whiners say it is not racism, yet I am sure they would not bat an eye if it was all Americans moving up here or Europeans. The mass movement of people has been going on for eons, as people tend to move from bad areas to better ones.

Racism is a big part of the problem. A lot of Germans are racist but they are oblivious to the fact.

I just moved back to the US after 2 years in Berlin. \n\nI spoke a little German, did my best to integrate into the city culture and gave it my best shot.\n\nBerlin is very interesting, food scene and summer scene is great! We loved the city. \n\nWe left because all the “free” services were extremely inconvenient to access, housing is very difficult and very expensive for new immigrants, I experienced quite a bit of racism. \n\nOverall I have lived and worked in several cities in several countries, Germany did not feel friendly towards me in spite of my best efforts. I had the privilege of choice so I left.

And no one talks about the racism that we face here, been here for 7 years and I regret every part of it.\nNot because I cannot handle it, but because it changed me as a person.\nSlowly and steadily you become machine by living here and the people are not welcoming at all.

Well Germany used to be great, but not anymore. Future skilled labour employment is going to be extremely difficult in EU countries! These countries need to move their industries and Jobs to Asia because they are competing with China! It’s too expensive to pay for a skilled labour in Germany as compared to for example in India. Fewer jobs with good salaries will create a lot of Hate in future local generation. You are expecting people to move here for low wages and speak Good local language while it’s difficult to get apartment, too much bureaucracy, racism, there is no inclusivity. why is it that a certain race is always that violates the law and then claims to be victim because of their race. Why is there a stereotype ? Maybe just maybe, they are not the victim of race but rather the streotype is right and the problem is that specific race. There isnt any racism, there is just stereotypes. This is why i would never rent to such race. Its just not worth the risk. Solution - that specific racial leaders should try to promote postiive role models vs. portraying them as victims and trying to milk the system using victimhood.

Was there ever any verification of this story or anything she said? The answer is no. Because if there was; many half-truths, discrepancies and misrepresentations would have been discovered in her story. Hearing a story and not getting verification of the facts is just lazy and poor journalism. This video actually contributes to the problem of racism and prejudice. Because it's extremely inaccurate and a misrepresentation of real facts. And presenting it like this without verification just fuels the flames of racism. Just reposting a video you find on Tik Tok with a hidden agenda is not journalism.\n\n You should be ashamed calling yourself a journalist.

Just like eating what you want to eat, living where you want to live is an equal right given to all people around the world.Therefore, it is classic racism to prevent people from coming to the Canada from certain countries.

Racism could have prevented all this

The government, NGOs, and WEF are trying to spin this as racism instead of the supply shock that it is.

And while there are certainly main contributors, one cannot simply ignore the area of supply and demand. Too many people looking for too few locations to live. It doesn't get more basic than that.\n\nThe PROBLEM is our economic growth numbers are DEPENDANT on immigration, and if we just cut immigration the numbers will plummet and foreign investment will tank. Sadly this will bring rise to racism and affect most of the cultures. We really are heading backwards by failing to replenish a new system collaborating with different cultures to strive for innovation and development. If immigration is streamlined and not tolerated appropriately, this only leads to rejection to culture irrespective of race.

It’s not racism. Canada is a nation of immigrants. Immigrants are always welcome. The problem is that there is a housing crisis in Canada. Increasing numbers of of Canadians are becoming homeless and ending up in homeless shelters or in tents encampments. There is a belief by many that our government is allowing in ever growing numbers of immigrants while at the same time marginalizing long term Canadians. In addition to a lack of affordable housing, there are not enough jobs. My son, a university student, had trouble finding a summer job. Temporary foreign workers were taking jobs that Canadians would normally do. No wonder there is a def of resentment against immigrants. The Canadian government is at fault for mismanaging both our economy and the imm system.

Brutal old days racism never went extinct, it just sits beneath the surface as mild repressed emotions that manifests itself at the direst of times.

Racism isn't an issue. Governmental ineptitude is, at all levels. And I came to the conclusion some time ago, that people living on the streets and in abject poverty is what the governments want. This isn't just an issue in Canada. It's happening all over, and it is fully deliberate.

The Canadian government’s poor planning and lack of infrastructure, allowing the immigrants to be used as a scapegoat is what’s directly promoting racism and xenophobia,that Reddit group’s lack of self awareness is eye opening. Why because we are bringing in to many people. We need to take care of the people we have here already. Common sense people. But our media will say it's racism.

This is not racism and anti-immigration. We need immigrants to support the economy growth, but it needs to be well planned. We just don't have enough infrastructure to support a huge influx in a short period of time. It shouldn't be too hard to understand modesty and sustainability are important.
