its nothing to do with racism they are coming here and changing everything. theres literally nowhere to rent in my city anymore that you dont have to share a room with 2-4 other brown people just because they all want cheap rent they dont care about personal space. every posting for rentable places is owned by indians now when only 5 years ago i could rent a full house now i can only rent a shared room with 3 indian guys. makes no sense how they can come here with their money and buy everything without the first citizens able to get first pick. the liberals are trying to bring india here just in time when they have to give back everything to the native people. they will try to get the original people to leave and then once enough people are gone they will just genocide the immagrants and have an entire country to themselves. they have already started building the walls in secret youll see soon there will be programs made to help grow other countries economy by offering whole packages to live other countries.

Jays comments are absolutely right. 90% of Indians are on fraudulent paper's they leave there country on visitors permit and the moment they get here they apply for refugees. Students just want to come to Canada, once they are here who cares about college or university. They just want to make money so they can send it back to India. This is how our government operates.

Force them to leave their land? If you feel an ounce of compassion for those palestinians, you would welcome them with open arms. Truth is You do not want the Palestinians. You just used your most pathetic diplomatic language to make this clear to the world! I am 100% certain that no Palestinian , that does not support Hamas, wants to remain in Gaza. BS

I feel lot of this started as a solution to solve the population crisis, and now immigration has ended up as Canada's addiction. People who run out of visa should leave, sure, but it's basic human instinct to try and stick to the better place. Also, if you don't bring value to the country, you will be the first victim of deportation. If you had a valuable skill or strong academic accolades you would not be kicked out, but because you don't, you are getting kicked out, which is more than fair when a country cannot house you without hurting its own population. Two sides to all coins.
\nThat said, I see that while the anonymous hate towards immigrants was always there, this atmosphere has changed the humble and polite Canadians into angry ones in open. I think it is government's fault for bringing people here, so we should point our anger correctly. They could ve stopped it at any point in time, but they didn't, and now people who came here like this good life, and yes it is coming at the expense of Canadians. I agree to that, but again, it's the government who bought them here, and filled their pockets, now as humans, immigrants want to stay at a better place.
\nIf your read the whole comment. Hopefully, you will be calmer than before on immigrants, show the famous Canadian honour and politeness and point your anger at the right place because I fear this unsettling atmosphere will be good for no one. Thanks.

Alright. The median age in Canada is 41years. That means in 20 years, majority of the population would be close to retirement, which also means that if a younger population is not 'brought in' it would be disastrous for the economy. That being said, the government can limit the number for people immigrating from certain countries. If you need more Europeans, you need to create a social support net better than Europe. Its purely logical. \nIf you do not want more Indians, you limit the number of Indians coming to Canada. Its simple. Hating them for who they are doesn't help. And same goes for the foreigners - In Rome, do what the romans do. Leave your ways at the door, relearn, adopt and adapt, else you will have the likes of Faulkner make you hate him for pointing the difference. Btw, he also forgets a few generations back his family was an immigrant too, who murdered the First Nations of this country. Not to remind him of what led to the Truth and Reconciliation Day. \nNow, that's not a justification for immigrants to be in your ways, its just to remind everyone that together as a society we have an opportunity to create something beautiful. Respect someone else's space, learn the new that comes your way, be it culture, history, anything. Pride is not bad as long as it inclusive.\nHere is something else to consider, wherever you get the 'immigrants' from, which English speaking country has the subset of non-radically religious and (comparatively) low crime population?

So to be clear they think they have rights. Think they can demand anything. They are guests in Canada. Guests. Not Citizens. Canada owes you nothing. It’s time to leave. Believing you can work because you can’t afford to go to school in Canada because you didn’t bring enough money to live Independent is insane. You want to come to another country and demand jobs and rights. Go home. Please. Acting entitled isn’t Canadian. Flip it around. If we went to India and demanded jobs. Demanded citizenship d demand rights we’d be kicked out. Send them home.

Corporations own our government. They want cheap, easily manageable people. They don't want to forfeit the ultra high bonus' they've weaseled themselves into so they will sell out the future of this country for a short term cash out on cheap labour. When it comes crashing down, watch all the companies that leave Canada

My sister's husband was sent to the USA for his job. His company wanted him to work down there for a while. He got a 5 year work VISA. They paid taxes in the US, and it didn't give them the right to stay forever. They paid income tax and property taxes. She wasn't allowed to get a job so she renovated the home they bought, and made a profit when they sold it. So after his 5 year Visa was over, they moved back home up here. Just because people contribute and pay taxes while they hold a work Visa, doesn't give them the right to stay once that Visa has expired. MY SISTER AND HER HUSBAND HAD TO LEAVE THE USA AFTER HIS 5 YEAR WORK VISA EXPIRED. LAWS MATTER!! OUR CANADIAN RULES MUST BE ENFORCED TOO!!!!

Don't blame India for this. Blame the vote bank politics of the liberal politicians you voted to power. These immigrants bring billions of dollars when they come here only to find a severely inefficient medical system and nothing in the name of jobs except factories, warehouses and Tim hortons. If you want change, push your government. Stop bringing anyone and everyone in. Your thumbnail is inaccurate too. A man with vermillion on his forehead is a Hindu. Most migrants from India are from the state of Punjab. Most of whom are NOT Hindus. A small fraction of these are separarist convicts who have been given refuge by the liberals and they refuse to engage with the Indian authorities to send them back for trial. As long as you blame others for your voting mistakes, you'll keep facing the same problems. It's not just caucasians who are leaving Canada. Immigrants who came legally a decade or more ago are frustrated here and are leaving and these include ones with non European backgrounds. Your view is eurocentric. Work on these areas.

im frm punjab and im sikh and i dont want khalistan, its basically the demands of the one who doesnt have far sighted vision and just on a reactionary basis put undue demand to counter the threat on their religious persecution and discrimination being faced, deep down we all know how religious politics is shaping this and promoting communal hatred , we all should unite as a single whole and discard such feelings of hatred among us and should leave peacefully, we dont want khalistan and we wont let our india to be a hindu rashtra ,, jai hind jai bharat

Yes, he's well-spoken, but that doesn't make him right. The idea that no Palestinians would leave an active theater of war is absolutely ridiculous. The Arab world doesn't want them for 2 reasons: 1 - every time they took in significant numbers of P's in the past, the P's started attacking people, and 2 - the Arab world, just like Hamas, sees benefit in perpetuating this conflict and maximizing the suffering of the P's.

Radicalism., dislike peace with others., don't want to leave that region., so how can other rich Arab countries will help them., only way by negotiations. with the world body..Hamas ask for it. Now the children's. Women are starving to death.. This journalist doesn't know that's the reason she got blasted..

Sorry, but I didn't know 'so many people' were leaving Canada. In fact, my European friends living in Canada, LOVE Canada. Their number one reason? The government is for the people. Their numerous benefits, programs and services (employment Insurance, child benefit, pensions, benefits for housing, student aid, family benefits, grants and funding opportunities, disabilities and their recently implemented dental care plan), says it all. Sure the cost of living is high, but where isn’t? Especially after covid and especially if you want a decent quality of life. Their car insurance and phone plans are also expensive but they're getting better. Stay out of the big cities if you can't afford it. There are other parts of Canada that is affordable. \n\nBtw, the healthcare industry, particularly the long-term care sector is a good place to earn a decent living. They are always looking for RNs, PSWs etc. \n\nIn the end, the positives outweigh the negatives. Besides having free healthcare and the many generous social services and benefits, Canada is also a progressive country with strong social policies, including gender equality, LGBTQ+ rights and environmental sustainability, (we’re drinking out of those gross cardboard straws now. Hello?). Then there is our natural and breathtaking landscapes, our four seasons, our excellent education system, diverse communities, friendly people, our cool festivals (The Calgary Stampede, Montreal International Jazz Festival, Caribana, Toronto International Film Festival, Just for Laughs Montreal, Pride Toronto are a few that come to mind), our great air and water quality, strict gun laws, legal cannabis… I could go on and on.\n\nIf you're able to afford living in Canada, consider yourself fortunate.

This is why I'm leaving Toronto! If we went to India and did what they do here, it would never work. Yet they want us to change our ways for them, but they treat the people that aren't Indian like trash. Personally think it's getting ridiculous.

Why would they want to come to Canada ? We're all looking to leave under Trudeau
|
| 2024-06-05 | 0 |
Ok, the Palastine don't want to leave Gaza, so why is there a wall to Egypt? If they want to stay in Gaza then that wall can go. Again politicians try to tell others what they have to do. Let the people decide.
|
| 2024-06-05 | 0 |
That's exactly what the US and Israel want, to want Palestinians to leave. Once they leave they won't be allowed back.
|
| 2024-06-03 | 0 |
Well duh. Is this even a question? My kid is still in school but knows he has no future in Canada anymore. I know I can't stay once I retire either. My other kid just hates it here and wants to leave. That's 3/4 of just one family who won't be staying. We didn't feel like this 10 years ago. Trudeau has destroyed the futures of most Canadians.

Tyler, school shootings are not a touchy subject. Americans love guns more than children. If you are uncomfortable with that and don't want to be associated with it, leave your cesspool country.

Just because you're having difficulties economically, and you're too weak to make the sacrifices for yourself and your family, no matter what the suffering entails, then please, REAL Canadians want you to leave. \n\nJust go. \n\nWe're going to stay here and fight for our beautiful nation.

Gee, I wonder why, when over half your paycheck goes to an incompetent, corrupt government that wants to flood Canadian communities with hard drugs, and the crime rate is getting out of control who wouldn't leave if they could?

I want out of this country so bad! It's feels like I'm a prisoner here...its nearly impossible to leave unless you've got a ton of money, marry an American, or have a specific educational degree.
