Being a NRI living in the UK i have noticed a lot of Indians come over on temporary visas and end up staying illegally. And this practice is not just exclusive to the uk, i am sure it happens to many more countries where Indian people go. And also many Indian s to survive overseas will end up doing illegal things to survive. This could be a reason behind the spike in visa rejections

Things not mentioned in here are that number of people applying for foreign visas have increased significantly and number of visas accepted are relatively same. Which is why rejection rates looks like it’s gone up ? I’m disappointed with Palki Sharma. There is lot more bias here vs when working in Gravitas

Unfortunately, there has to be some criteria by which each country has to make a judgement. I do not understand why she is cribbing here. There is this guy who keeps going on international trips and everyone in India for gaga over the importance he brings to India through those trips. What happened? Not working? They fail to understand that all the hugs and kisses are only for the TV and in reality every country just cares for the business opportunity they get out of the other. \n\nPalki keeps talking about using our economic power. The easiest thing to do is blame other countries for the rejection without thinking why certain types of countries reject and what has our citizens done in those countries? No point in thinking about a few people who helped build Dubai or those one of cases like Pichai & Nadella. Think of those who go their and cause concern to those countries.

Indians should stay and make the country great instead of running around like a headless chickens. Of course the corrupt governments of the day makes thing worse. Until they follow half of china's way of governance, India will lose out on everything China do. Ma'am, when a country makes it harder for citizens of a particular country to enter their country, it is often because of the number of recorded incidents, crime from people from said country. If there is a higher rate compared to people from other countries, then it becomes harder. Let's be honest here... Indians don't have a good reputation abroad when it comes to such things... I'm half Nigerians and at least many Nigerians acknowledge why lately, it is harder for Nigerians to get a visa (Obv crime as well.) Has nothing to do with discrimination. Also, look at the state of Canada. Nigeria and India need to focus on bettering their citizens so that less people go abroad, which also reduces the chance of certain people doing crime, to avoid making it harder for honest people from the same country to get a visa. Better the countries so that more countries open up for Indians, making the ranking go up. \n\nLastly, the passport index website shows India at 65, not 85. Why lie about that to fit your narrative? The passport index website is literally the first result that shows up on Google too... Not everything is about discrimination...

People talking a lot of negative things in the comment section about Indians being this or Indians being that ?. I think the Indian Govt is ensuring that the passport stays weak. Otherwise, what's stopping the govt from flexing its economic power. The reason is, when its complicated to get a visa to travel abroad, it dissuades Indians from going abroad for tourist purpose and those people travel withing India and that money gets spent in India and boosts Indian economy, and when its complicated to move abroad for work or study, it helps reduce brain drain (but that also needs quality higher education and good employment opportunities to work in the country's favor; not going into whether that's the case or not).

Hell no! It’s a fun place to visit, I love Florida California. I’m looking forward to going to the Carolinas, but I would never move there permanently. As a woman in Canada with children, what I do with my uterus is nobody’s business. I like my option of 18 month parental leave. I like my option not to do overtime and not have affect my job. I like my vacation and I like my sick leave. We have a safety net up here for mother‘s allowance child tax credit unemployment insurance. I'm a Canadian and I live in the US because I can't afford to go home. The only thing I like here is the weather. I consider Americans to be unsocialized, uneducated and paranoid. I have never met an actual country of people with no manners before and I have lived in several European countries. I won't even bother mentioning, health care, the education system or the police. They just reflect the people and flavor of the country.\n\nThe average working people can barely survive as it is and now the politicians are actively trying to kill the lower classes. I consider the US to be a shithole country.

If a person is lucky enough to be able to work around the world online and maintain the same wages of course developing countries will be cheaper. For people who live in Vietnam, the average monthly wage is $424 Canadian. The average wage in Canada is $5,607 so developing countries are cheaper if you are making North American style wages. Best of luck finding a place with lower crime, lower poverty, and a quality of life you enjoy.

Yes I was, after Trump got elected no. Disabled human rights are horrible here and as compensation for lawsuits can be capped in cases that is unlikely to change. I should state the government had to pay me $25,000 dollars for violating my rights (this cost me $35,000+ in legal fees!) so I know of what I speak. It was the same when I moved provinces. In terms of mobility my fate was better in the 4 third world countries I visited after my stroke, there are no busses in loads of places here as we can’t “afford” them. Why do disabled people struggle to get a family doctor when they move provinces? Also why did the mother of a Ukrainian disabled kid have to go back to a country that had been invaded to get help for her child that was having convulsions? She got no help here and her child was in our system by then and her husband has been paying taxes since I got him a job here 3 day a after landing. As an American and also a half Indian myself, I hear this guy . I have friends in Canada and they complain to me about the same thing. One of the things is that Indians refuse Canadians job positions because they are not Indian. How can u Indians refuse someone a job in their own country? And another thing. As a Canadian PR holder, the immigration system is broken. The fact that people who can't speak English, with criminal backgrounds and unqualified individuals can come in and stay while I had to wait 2 years for background checks and a 8.5 IELTS score, is insane. It shows that qualified workers aren't wanted but rather just get as many people from only one single country in the name of multiculturalism. Another thing which attracted me to Canada was the chance to experience different cultures but all I see are Indians and especially immigrants who don't want to integrate because Trudeau is happy with that and they bring their countries' domestic problems to Canada (read Gaza idiots and Khalistanis)

The problem here isn't Australia or Canada. The problem is in India! The Government of India has failed to lift living standards in India. The services people require are lacking or not there. The education system needs to be completely overhauled and built. Requiring people to go to another nation for education is a clear indication the government has failed. These are people ordered by Imgration Canada to leave Canada after failing the processes to stay in the country. That is 30000 people who should have been put on a plane and sent back to their country of origin. Law enforcement needs to be hired to find these people and put them on the plane. Another way to help this from happening in the future is through the laws. If you are here on a visa or temporary work permit, you must leave by the date on the permit or visa. Failure to do so will result in immediate deportation from Canada to your country of origin. It will also result in a permanent ban from for life from entry to Canada for any reason. If you have been found to enter Canada illegally for any reason. This will also be a permanent ban from entry to Canada in the future for any reason. The only way to extend a permit or visa is from outside of Canada, just like other countries require Canadians to do under their systems. There has to be a reason for people to follow the rules, and that is the permanent ban and immediate deportation upon failure to follow the rules. Another thing is an person needs to have paperwork to get on an international aircraft going to another country. So why do these people arrive in Canada and now have no paperwork. They must show that paperwork to CBSA or face immediate deportation and a lifetime ban from entering Canada for any reason. People who have followed the rules are fully welcomed to Canada. They should show they are entitled to be here and not break major laws of Canada. If you fail and are convinced of breaking major Canadian laws. You will be immediately deported from Canada with a lifetime ban from entry to Canada in the future. These are rules and laws used internationally by other countries, so nothing is new...

You have been spot on about the situation in Canada, except for one thing. The Canadian government pays employers to employ foreign workers and foreign students. As a tenth generation Canadian( more up the native side ) I really resent being told by kalistanies that it's their land and all white people need to go back to Europe. They are very bold and obnoxious. Canadians are also edged out of spots in legitimate post secondary schools, because they make foreign students pay more. So they take them first. This is very racist to both Canadians and foreign students. First nobody should have to pay more than anyone else for the same service or goods. That's racist to foreign students. And the fact that they are taking foreigners first is racist to Canadians. The schools should be taking students by merit. You are right. Canada has fallen. I came to Saskatchewan Canada as an international student in fall 2023. I did a care assistant program and was attracted to coming to Canada because I kept hearing that there is a labour shortage in healthcare in Canada. However I feel like everything just started going to sh*t in 2024 when I was finishing up my program ?.\n\n One of the things I'd like to highlight about the small towns is that they can be very biased in their hiring practices. Some of us as (black) students had a hard time getting jobs in healthcare in the town because jobs were given based on family and friend linkages (so mostly white or Filipino people got hired). Also there was a severe housing shortage. So even though locals (from my perception) wanted us to stay and work in healthcare (because they are short staffed), realistically there was no where to stay. Canada can't say it wants people in more rural areas and not improve housing in those areas as well. I have honestly been rather disappointed with Canada because I expected better planning from a developed country.

Few things I noticed:\n1) Indians dont respect Canadian standards of personal space; we do not live in a crowded country so back up a bit.\n2) Indians do not open up personally quickly; often keep to themselves.\n3) Dont understand most people have integrated into society, so we encourage you too. Its not fair to assume everything is “white” so you fight/oppose but fail to consider its a hybrid Canadian culture. We are not so imposing of any of our “old-world” ways. \n4) You talk on speaker phone in public too much.\n5) Business ethics.\n6) the everyday spam/text scam calls from India are not helping.\n7) scarcity mindset, if im shopping for something they have to invade my space and see what it is and if they can buy before me.\n8) Rude drivers, constantly cutting off.

If you guys have no any interest in following the rules, integrate into both society and culture of the host country, then you should better stay in India and fight for it if it really is the greatest country in the world as you say. Many people's getting sick of your overpopulation issue, which you are supposed to solve, not the US, Canada or Australia. The misinterpretation of laws are in direct conflict with early emigration laws in America particularly ‘The Emigration’ Act of 1866 and also naturalization act of 1790 if people keep going back in time using past laws to justify this the more it confuses things. All I know is the intent of the laws need to be accurately interpreted so that it’s clear who they were meant for when they were written because from the way I read and interpret them there is nothing that directly allows for the offspring of illegal and undocumented parents to be granted automatic citizenship. Especially since this is happening while our country actually has immigration laws and a process for them to follow. Some where where in our ‘politics’ this has gotten all screwed up and definitely needs to be fixed.
