Very interesting and an opportunity to understand a conservative Arab Muslim view even after decades of living in and benefiting from Western society. \n\nOne question: have you ever looked at the HDI ranking of societies and reflected on how it is that the bottom half of the ranking is where almost all Muslim majority nations rest (with the exception of the oil monarchies of course where sales from oil, oil that is contributing significantly to the global warming that is harming the Earth in a way that brings to mind the verses of your Quran about fasad-fil-ard and the command on Mankind as part of its Khilafah to uphold the Mizan or balance or else be of the transgressors, make up the main reason for not being in the bottom half of the ranking)? I have a good friend who is hell-bent on moving to Vancouver when he retires. I have told him that Canada is not what it used to be, but he will hear none of it. God bless him. I will miss him, but he may be back eventually after he moves there.

Very true it is not worth it. You leave everything behind but after 25 years you loseyour kids to a foreign culture, they have none of that Indianness, they speak like a foreign person. They entire thinking is different, ask yourself, will you be able to accept that one day, your children will behave like Americans towards you?

None of the Arab states wants Palestinians refugees. It’s simply because they will try to overthrow the local government like they tried in Kuwait, Lebanon and Jordan. Assalamu alaikum I live in the Island of Trinidad in the West Indies. We have poor political leadership and progress is slow. However, our religious tolerance is second to none. We have hundreds of masaajids and many Sunni islamic institutions. We are happy muslims here living side by side with Hindus and Christians, Jews etc. Our Government is neutral on the Palestinian issue but we are free to demonstrate and march and sign petitions. We do have a crime problem. I do hope you will consider our beautiful country with its warm weather and beautiful beaches. We are also halal food center for the region. Alhamdulillah hearing your plight has helped me to appreciate my country even more. Ameen.

Mass 3rd world migration has changed Toronto, Vancouver Canada - they aren't the safe, Great White North of the 1970s. Canada has huge amounts of unpopulated land, pretty much no, none of the migrants are going there - they're going to Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Vancouver and their suburbs. Sure you get interesting places to dine, cosmopolitan stuff, you also get sky high rents, migrant camps, ME sexual grooming gangs, COVID, TB - Indian Sikh assassinations.

Totally agree with you. I’m a Muslim as well and I don’t live in a western society, I’m living in my country that is conservative and there is none of these woke agendas and liberalism being forced on us, but I do have relatives who live in the US and Canada and they are thinking about coming back for the same reasons you mentioned. They don’t want their children to be victims of these agendas that are being forced on them to accept in schools right now, they are noticing how society over there is failing, Islamophobia and hate crimes against Muslims is rising, and they don’t want to live in a country that sends billions of dollars to support an apartheid occupying state to commit genocide and ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians, they just don’t want their tax money to be sent to war criminals. May Allah make it easy for you and hopefully you’ll find a perfect place and a perfect Muslim environment so that you can raise your children. I do suggest you to go live in one of these Gulf states especially Saudi Arabia where healthcare is free, education is free, zero taxes, zero crime rates, and most importantly, you can practice your deen freely and you don’t have to worry about your children.

Sorry but none of the reason you shared are enough to make you leave your country. I'm a Muslim and I travel the world, today Canada is the best place to be.

As salamu alaikum, may Allah guides you to the best decision and place for your family and use you in the goodness whatever wherever and accept your good deeds ameeen ?\nJust to not be shocked some of your reasonable reasons for looking for more Islamic environment are not available as you wish in lot of Islamic countries.\nOf course there's more daily Islamic things that people in these countries take for granted while Muslims in western countries suffer to get/live and though the gap in cultures is shrinking, which should be a good thing in its principle, but with time of more fetan it sometimes means faster spread of fetan between countries to find some of what your suffering from is there also but maybe alhamdullelah still not in same pace or widness.\nIt hurts do much being in countries whose governments support obviously the wrong side, just keeping mind it's hurting (regardless now of whether hurts more/same/less) when you are in some Islamic countries and not free to express your opinions freely.\nIt's worth mentioning that moving while kids are not yet old enough to get familiar with anti-islamic things around is better in timing.\nOne suggestion that I'm not sure whether is affordable or time wise is good or not or whether you've gone this all the way of trying or not is to continue living in Canada with more surroundings of people of similar core values (by the way not all of whom I mean have to be Muslims, lot of non-Muslims are conservative about education and society pushing their kids to ideas and behaviors against their core values) if you've tried this already and even tried moving within Canada for that purpose and didn't work, then may Allah help you to go for the best.

Indians like myself have opted out of working at Canada because \n1) It is costly to live here\n2) Canada harbours and provides safe haven to Pakistani and Khalistani terrorists that are a threat to Indians, specially Hindus living there. Their presence is a net negative for any society that wants to live peacefully (Not just for Indians/Hindus). \n3) Healthcare, house help services,real estate are really easy to avail in India. So you're at peace even with lesser pay and can focus your time on doing other things or simply relax.\n\nOne of the kids from our family this year avoided going to Canada for his masters only due to these reasons. Especially the second reason.

Maybe you should look up the Lebanese Civil War and Jordanian Civil War aka Black September and educate yourselves about actual history as to why none of those countries will take them in. You wanna help the Palestinians get rid of Hamas help them by reeducation and help rebuild Gaza in their infrastructure maybe temporarily take some of them into your country. But it seems like most Arab countries around the area of Israel are terrified to take Palestinians into their country. In fact Egypt itself re fortified its border crossing to prevent Palestinian Arabs from entering their country.

I live in a small city in Saskatchewan. We have an influx of immigrants every year and the housing availability is next to none. Jobs are hard to find, rent is really high, groceries are high. Obviously not as bad as Vancouver or Toronto, but it's not great. I don't see a great future for anyone living here at the moment.

In other words, none of the other Arab countries want to take in Palestinians. Israel took in the 700,000 Jews expelled from Muslim dominated countries in 1947/48 and gave trhen full citizenship. Arab countries have always refused to do the same for the 300,000 Palestinians expelled from Israel.
