I am an Indian, we were planning to go to Europe for a holiday. But the sheer number of documents they asked made me think otherwise. Now don’t get me wrong. I did my masters in France and I speak a few European languages, but this new trend of asking for my the million documents doesn’t go well with me. We cancelled our tickets. We will travel somewhere else.

Lol, the reason we have so many rejection is because everyone wants to go abroad and settle there even illegally. Other nations have not failed at infra as much as we have. what matters is per capita income and gdp per capita. Boasting of being 5th largest economy by comparing GDP of 1445 million population with countries of 70 million is nonsense. Its shows how pathetic Indias skill and productivity is. IT services have done very well but its such small proportion of the population (5 million employed in IT out 1445 million, even here only top 10% maybe making good money )

Rest of the world also does not want illegal immigrants/visa abusers the same way India doesn't. You're better off staying in the U.S. I lived in Canada for years. Now in the States. The Canadian dollar is not nearly as strong as the American dollar. You can also forget about ever being a homeowner in Canada especially the major cities like Toronto you're looking at 1 million dollars for starter. Let's not forget the other hair raising cost of living. Healthcare is free in Canada but if you have a life threatening illness forget it. You can die waiting to get care!
