People just come here to complain. If you are good in India, why did you go to Canada? Just a visit is enough to see how life is here. I am not A Canadian I’m an American, but I interact with lots of Canadians as they find themselves coming down here for one reason to the other and I’m not near the border either. I’m quite far into the US in a major US city.\n\nThere are two types of Canadians that distinct themselves. The first group is the ones that are themselves immigrants that are naturalized. I make this distinction because many cases they have not assimilated. They still have their own culture from another country and is pointed out by the narrator people from south Asia and Asia strongly have their culture And language \n\n( Canada is good for allowing people to live in communities to cut themselves off from the main screen. You have people who speak the Ukrainian language Going Back 4 generations)\n\nThen I’m gonna have to use a euphemism that might make peoples hair stand on the back of their neck. I’m gonna call them. The white Canadians has a euphemism. These are people who are going so far back from the British Isles for the most part and the French also speak another language who have no connection to Europe. The English-speaking Canadians who are you from white could walk down or come down to the US and fit right in in a matter of weeks if they’re not already assimilated into the US Culture ( I hope I don’t see any fireworks start coming from this comment) Many of these white Canadians are now more economically disadvantage than the newer Asian and south Asian immigrants and find themselves often times competing for resources with these newer immigrants. People coming from punjab or coming from from pakistan and middle east, govt must stop this, its no good. Same with europe and america also. Govt should take quality immigrants not liability. Hellooo ok I agree to certain points but many things r not true. I must tell u Indians where ever they go always complain. There are some good points too. Specially now ur unpd modi destroyed india. Used to be if you wanted to come to Canada you had to have a certain amount of money! I think that should be the case as well as also educated. Australia had a point system and its very hard to immigrate there, we should have that too. Lets stop dumbing everything down! Immigrants come and they come from 3rd world countries and they then offer their serves at lower standards. I used to house clean, I was a single mom with 3 kids and I made a good living. I lost a few jobs to NANNIES who were hired to take care of kids only and before I knew it they were cleaning the house and I was let go. Now those nannies could have just looked after their kids. They didn't even get more money to clean the house. Screwed me out of work and gave them selves more work without more pay! I see it in the Massage Therapy industry too, they post rates a lot lower than the going rate! Janitor serves, truck driving, all are being dumbed down and lower quality! Franshises all being bought out and having major health issues with food quality...dumbing it down to their country of origin!! Im so sick of it all.

Just interested to know how immigration is tied up with drug addicts and poverty. To me it seems Indians are thriving and doing good. Will they come clean and become rich once we ship these immigrants back home.

They love america.. they get good jobs easy over here.. most of them get better paying jobs than us citizens and they have no social security number.. They stick together over here, their people get them brand new cars, jobs and apartments.. When i lived in Charlotte many of the women from central america had an apartment, car and job within a week of being here.. Many of the women come here pregnant or immediately get pregnant. They can get free medical and food cards for their children when their born on us soil.. Construction companies, cleaning services, restaurants, salons and hotels will hire them before they hire people who already live here because of their good work ethic reputation.. High rent doesnt bother them because alot of migrant live in groups of 5 to 10 people.. That usually means at least 2 to 3 men working in the same home.. Thats 2 to 3 incomes so 1600 to 2500 rent is nothin to them..Not to mention their wives work half the time so thats another income..

Great job, very good report. I live in Mississauga and the city has changed a lot the past couple of years and the housing prices are unbelievable. Immigration will continue to be a part of Canada’s economical system, but the numbers should be reduced at least by 50% , in addition to put a cap on number of immigrants from certain countries and give the opportunity to ppl from other countries to immigrate. You can’t allow 50% of your immigrants come from one country, that is not acceptable

Miller and the Liberal-NDP coalition are trying to delay the deportation so that they have a handy vote-bank for the coming election in 2025. Is there a way to speed the deporation before the end of 2024? This will be a good start. All students should leave without exception. Immigration must come to a full halt until this is sorted out.

The amount of money international students specifically indian students invest in getting admissions and visa here, is the amount of money they can use to get very rich education without even working and just studying and staying in a good hostel with food there in India. So, clearly they are not coming here for education, the primary goal is somehow to become a permanent resident of canada.

Its not the students fault that there is housing crisis. These students came here legally, they should be prioritized to be given a chance to apply legally for work permit or PR after graduating so their skills will be used and its for the good of economy, compared to “not real refugees” who come here not working but given all the benefits which the taxpayers are paying. \nThe government should allow builders to make more houses , thus high house prices will go down.

Could this video be more racist, funny whenever it says the word “Native Canadians” it shows white people. No international student(or Indian) will come to Canada if there is no route to PR. Do you think Canadian colleges and universities are very high in the ranking list? Not at all. So imagine if students only had the option to return home after graduation, none will come to Canada and the economy will suffer. International students exploitation is happening on the federal level, then why bother with Provincial and colleges? These are temporary visas but ultimately, PR(settlement in a new country) is the goal, otherwise these students will not pack their lives and come over here.\n\nReference: I came to Canada in 2022 and left in early 2024. There are many reasons why I left but one I felt was the demographic shift and the amount of refugees that country accepts. Additionally Canada needs to raise the bar on the quality of people coming in. These students are from very wealthy families who often have housemaids and servants to do domestic chores and who can afford to pay ridiculous student tuition for a second-rate Canadian post-secondary education. There are top Indian schools where it costs maybe 1/8th the cost and the education is very, very good (e.g. Indian Institutes of Technology) and certainly better than what they are getting in these second-rate diploma mills in Ontario. Moreover, there are very good tech jobs in India in cities like Bangalore. What these students are really after is Canadian citizenship, through a pathway that does not require strong qualifications. They were promised that by Indian immigration consultants. With Canadian citizenship, it is much easier to travel and live in the US, where many of them want to go (and some are even now entering illegally). \nA second reason is that these younger adults want to live independently from their parents. Many of them arriving in Canada are living on their own or with other students, for the first time in their lives, and are enjoying a lot more freedom from Indian social norms such as not being able to date people of a different religion or sexual orientation, or to marry the person of their choice instead of having parents involved. Three or four generations ago, when a lot of immigrants came after WWII, those from India were coming to large research universities or engineering firms and had a job or full fee waiver or university fellowship waiting for them. They were much more qualified and went on to be doctors, professors, business people and other professionals. This is what largely composed the Indian diaspora in Canada, until this wave of students brought along by the current government which admitted over 200K Indian students -- per year.

I'm South Asian. My sister used to live in Brampton actually before the whole invasion began. Good thing she saw the writing on the wall and left. Sad thing is, many can not differentiate the browns who have immigrated pre 1990 and the ones who have come in post-pandemic. The ones coming in post-pandemic are the village trash, entitled, and snobby. Those people are the very same reasons we left our countries to begin with. Okay the lady is saying government should give them the opportunity. These guys already here too many and they don't respect laws which you can see when you go to Brampton. And they want more and more of their people here so they can feel like their back home. But there is problem which is people from other cultures don't like more Punjabis here. And the lady is saying government should give them jobs. There are no jobs and they don't get it. It is like this there is one pizza and that is for four people and now ten people are waiting to eat that pizza. There are no jobs here because Canada is not like US industrialized and tons of companies. So what will happen when tons of you won't get job then you will go and put a camp to live and the expenses would come on tax payers if you become PR because you will claim social assistance and then hospital have to treat you. Means the resources would be limited. So let that pizza for four people. Sorry, but I didn't know 'so many people' were leaving Canada. In fact, my European friends living in Canada, LOVE Canada. Their number one reason? The government is for the people. Their numerous benefits, programs and services (employment Insurance, child benefit, pensions, benefits for housing, student aid, family benefits, grants and funding opportunities, disabilities and their recently implemented dental care plan), says it all. Sure the cost of living is high, but where isn’t? Especially after covid and especially if you want a decent quality of life. Their car insurance and phone plans are also expensive but they're getting better. Stay out of the big cities if you can't afford it. There are other parts of Canada that is affordable. \n\nBtw, the healthcare industry, particularly the long-term care sector is a good place to earn a decent living. They are always looking for RNs, PSWs etc. \n\nIn the end, the positives outweigh the negatives. Besides having free healthcare and the many generous social services and benefits, Canada is also a progressive country with strong social policies, including gender equality, LGBTQ+ rights and environmental sustainability, (we’re drinking out of those gross cardboard straws now. Hello?). Then there is our natural and breathtaking landscapes, our four seasons, our excellent education system, diverse communities, friendly people, our cool festivals (The Calgary Stampede, Montreal International Jazz Festival, Caribana, Toronto International Film Festival, Just for Laughs Montreal, Pride Toronto are a few that come to mind), our great air and water quality, strict gun laws, legal cannabis… I could go on and on.\n\nIf you're able to afford living in Canada, consider yourself fortunate.

The real question is Canada vs Florida because the U.S. consists of many mini countries that have agreed on a common constitutional document and basic laws but otherwise are different countries. With that said Canada loses on every metric that matters to Florida. From economics to taxes to business to self defense and personal property Florida wins. It’s bad politics & culture which are most similar to Canada that has resulted in higher crime rates. \n\nGun laws in the U.S. are for Americans to have the option to fight against a tyrannical government like we have scene in Canada with the truckers and mass freezing of bank accounts. That is what the right to bear arms was for first and foremost not just self defense. Canada ignores this entirely and instead has the perspective of give the government all the power and expect government to be “good” and act in good faith to the people which it has continually failed to do so. Canada has to bribe Quebec just to keep its country together something that has been an issue since the founding of Canada is parts of it breaking off due to tyrannical federal government power abuse.\n\nFreedom comes with risks but it’s always better to be free.\n\nPeople who leave the U.S. for Canada are doing so for political reasons otherwise they can leave their blue progressive crime filled cities for free cheap safe red states.\n\nI encourage all Canadians to search moving from Canada to Florida and you will find many Canadians that realized the American Dream. Why would I, for example, embrace a neighbor who thinks it's okay to date my sister when his own female relatives are only available to blokes who attend the mosque? Because of the vast numbers of migrants from unusual cultures Canadians now face many paradoxes like this. Tolerance and good nature has its limits. Migration is shattering the once good natured Canadian identity and culture in addition to putting insupportable stress on all Canada's infrastructures. Canada’s statistics are no different than Australia, USA and France for example in terms of homelessness and home ownership. Our foreign born population is about 20% -Australia it’s 22% - the USA the most immigrant fearing nation around has only 13% - that’s something to strive for lady!. \n\nCanada needs immigrants and lots of them to fill positions Canadian borns are too posh to do. \n\nWorld wide interest rates are high, housing developers are running into delays with things like world wide shortages and local communities having long convoluted permit processes, and volatile prices for home construction materials etc. \n\nWe Canadians are happy to buy from Chinese and USA manufacturers to the point we depend yet again on global markets. \n\nThe bottom line is the Provinces have authority over housing and haven’t wanted the Federal Government to butt in at all. It’s something that we have CMHC for mortgages and assistance to developers - but where are the developers? Not enough profit these days is there. \n\nI think we the people have failed in many ways. We need a scape goat and Trudeau is a very handy target. \n\nCanadians aren’t interested in repopulating by having more than one or two kids and so in order to sustain our economy and fill positions where do people think skilled and unskilled workers are coming from. Apparently being a nurse for example is not an occupation our children want nor do they want to clean toilets or work at Walmart or 7-Eleven. \n\nWe love shopping at Walmart with all its cheap Chinese goods and refuse to shop local businesses. \nWe get what we deserve. It's not that everyone is leaving. Eastern Europeans are going back. They go where there is no communism, simply. But there are plenty of black people coming, yesterday I was at a Highschool graduation here in Edmonton, and let me tell you, the days of white people in Canada are over. If it's any good, time will tell. I and my wife (also immigrants) will\nLeave eventually to spend our retirement in some warmth.
