I'd love to think enablers of the current US regime would understand the utter folly of its policies (to dignify them with a label they don't deserve), but I think that's unlikely. If they are religious fanatics, they will martyr themselves to sustain the usurpation of human rights so that their ideologies can remain in place. Students got their visas agreeing to bear the full cost of college showing proof of financial sources from home. Canadian government NEVER ever indicated it will help. In fact Canadian government has been too generous and linient in looking the other way when minimally qualified students flooded unknown colleges and schools and not exactly following the rules. They can flock to UK or Australia but thise governments are not blind to what has been happening in Canada and will likely impose similar restrictions.

Boomers in Canada are very nimby thus making housing so much harder to build, leading to younger generations emigrating to other countries like south of the border. Also eating up lands zoned to industrial, and thus making industrial rent more expensive to the remaining patches of land available on city outskirts. \n\nMaybe it’s time to review the policies overall. Canada has been treating its older generations like kings, with their large lawns and healthcare which they frequently use…while younger generations and immigrants work like a slave.
