Im Canadian and while the tariffs are gonna suck, I completely understand why Trump is doing it. I am SO SICK AND TIRED of the sanctuary cities ruining law-abiding citizens lives! I can't believe how STUPID they are. They must be getting paid under the table to push these TERRIBLE ideas!! Every person who thinks sanctuary policies are good should be required to accompany the illegals back to whatever cesspool they came from. i dont understand why they dont just offer aid to families and people who actually need it and allow them to come into the country safely as opposed to forcing them to make dangerous journeys using gangs and risk allowing criminals or gang members to get in. It's becoming way too easy to define an entire group of people as criminals. Their is not one story that uses the word criminal no less than 25 times. This was always going to occur. Shut down the southern border and people will try to get in through the north. As I understand it, we don't have the same deportation laws with Canada as we do with Mexico. This needs to be dealt with and Canada needs to step up. I live in a norther border state and my younger brother died of fentanyl. I am fed up with it. I love Canada and remembering crossing the border without even a passport as a kid, but this is no longer acceptable.

One of our biggest problems for years, which is extremely hard to understand is that a lot of our immensely ignorant and corrupt lawmakers make the laws protect the criminals, better than the people who pay their wages to protect the good people. We pay them to screw us and help protect the criminals.

It's very important that we clearly understand that not only do 'criminal' elements benefit but the wealthy who own the hotels and apartments that the city rents for illegals; and the national food and service vendors who also receive huge compensation paid by genuine taxpayers and captive government organizations. All approved and sponsored by the prevailed few and their minions.

There should be no sanctuary cities. I don't understand how mayors and city councils can break federal law and not be arrested.

I sincerely don't understand why people have an issue with people who came here illegally getting deported. It's not at all racially motivated or discrimination. Whether they are serious criminals or just entered illegally - it is not right for them to be here, or be provided services paid for by tax paying Americans. As an educated American citizen, If I want to move to UK or European countries I have to jump through many hoops, prove I have my own money to support myself, and possibly meet a language requirement. Why is it that we just accommodate anyone who wants entry to USA? It baffles me. I have friends all upset about deportations and it's ridiculous. I can't understand why we bother to have any laws if we don't enforce them? I have 2 family members who immigrated here LEGALLY. That's the only way it should be allowed and we should up the requirements to gain entry as well.

They need to understand that rules and laws apply same to everyone. Getting degree does not mean immigration, internet is ubiquitous and they should have to read first before making decisions, what are rules, regulations and what to expect after getting degree. Many other nations get degrees in collages and universities in Canada but do not create chaos, disturbance in parks and city centres, and do not go on attack.

I totally understand why a lot of Indians want to leave. Huge population, fierce competition etc so obviously folks want to escape. But the problem is locals in the western countries are being outcompeted for high skilled jobs. This is ON TOP of these jobs being MOVED to India. You cannot blame the locals who felt that they are being eaten from both ends. The anger is palpable and this is ONE of the reasons why you see populist candidates win elections. I only wish we have a massive abundance of high skilled jobs to go around so Indians can also achieve their aspirations and dreams wherever they go.

Because of some peoples mistakes other genuine people have to suffer. Which country will tolerate indiscipline and illegal activities. They have set of rules put up by every country which needs to be followed if you don't will be thrown out like what's happening now. Governments should track down illegal consultancies and bring them to justice. Just to earn a buck these consultants bring illegal immigrants and leave them. If anyone knew how bad and unsafe life is in Juarez Mexico you wouldn't blame people from trying to run out of there. With the drug violence it's normal to just see dead bodies hanging from the side of a freeway together or laying on the streets. It's normal for young women to be kidnapped and killed. Normal for even the reporters reporting on the cartels to be killed. Many people don't even feel safe leaving their homes. Given half a chance I would try to run in there too but I understand the concern that we just can't let so many people in our country. I see both sides.
