The 23rd Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudea will go down in history as the guy who stood up to the felon and sex offender Donald Trump. The so called 47th President of the United(?) States of Mid-America. Trumps playing Whack-a-Mole with his closest neighbours and European Allies. They aren’t going to forget what he’s and his supporters are doing.

This is an intelligent, reasonable, and articulate leader of his country. Here in the USA, we have an immature psychopathic narcissist at our leader. Thanks, Trudeau, for clarifying what Trump is doing to our country and to our closest friendliest ally, not to mention the damage he is doing to our international relations.

Aussie here. We are so sickened watching what’s going on in the US. It’s terrifying how fast Trump has turned against his allies. Canada, we Aussies love you and support you! Thank you for standing strong. To our American friends, keep fighting, keep protesting!

Who needs allies when you have Putin. Aparently.

Trump is going to isolate America from its closest allies and then our enemies will attack us Americans at our weakest when all our allies has cut ties with us!! And this is what Zelenskyy was saying the other day in the oval office, “you will feel it one day”. Trump is going to lead us into a war and who will have our back NO ONE!!!

I love Canada. Canada will always be our ally, but there appears to be some “one sided-ness”. I believe the biggest issue being drugs coming across our border. \nAs someone who lives on the border, we see many Canadian cars coming to the US to shop. They even wear clothes that they throw away in dumpsters so they can wear their new clothes back to Canada without having to pay tax. \nI wish they wld accommodate to our requests.\n\nP.S. What Putin has asked Donald Trump to do is to break away from my allies so he can become a dictator! Despite the actions of the American government, this Torontonian loves and respects his American brothers and sisters. I don't hold this against them, I prefer and wish for a world where we are allies and friends over one where we fight with each other.

Now this is how an intelligent and reasonable leader gives a speech! I know Trump doesn't understand how tariffs work, but how can other Republicans in Congress agree to starting trade wars with our closest allies? Russia and China probably can't believe their good fortune. Trade wars with your allies, Trump crapping on NATO and then hanging Ukraine out to dry. How is this allowed to happen? Things are going to get much, much worse.

More and more obvious every day. Trump is owned by PUTIN! He acts as an enemy toward we American people, and toward our true allies. He MUST be removed from power immediately. It's so surreal that this narcissistic, psychopathic person actually won the Presidential election (again). All I can say is I am sorry, embarrassed, and ashamed of my broken country's politicians in Washington, D.C. at present. Many more Americans support the democratic policies than the anti-democratic that Trump's regime is spouting all around the world. Just know this isn't what most Americans believe and we don't support his thoughts and actions. We are trapped in this nightmare that makes no sense. We hope this is just a temporary change. These new policies benefit no one but the oligarchs of America (and world). I guess we are just going to have to take our punishment for the few years for not being able to prove that these people in Washington care NOTHING for anyone, including their own constituent, and are hell bent on taking down and destroying our American, Democratic way of life and we, the people, are helpless to stopping it dissolve and crumble. Canadian here. My husband and I listen at you here on CNN Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and we couldn't be more proud of you and your team. You say intelligent words right from the start and you deliver a strong message in a very strong manner, beginning with this: the US is declaring economic war on Canada, as well as strong arguments, and that fentanyl is just a pretext, which we all already know, that getting closer to Russia and cutting ties with its allies is Donald Trump's current course of action, and the fair question to ask is why is this man putting himself at the service of the Kremlin which is totally unnatural for an American.?

Trump is making all sane Americans side with countries other than our own. We absolutely suck right now. We should be apologizing daily for what you-who-voted-for-this did to our credibility as a national ally.

I have always been a proud American citizen. My paternal side of my family has been traced back to the Mayflower and I have ancestors and family that have served in the Revolutionary War, the American Civil War, WWl, WWll, Vietnam, the Gulf, and Afghanistan. This country has made many mistakes and has had much shame throughout its existence for various things but this is the first time and U.S. president has turned his back on our friends and allies in favor of an evil authoritarian leader named Vladimir Putin who strokes his massive ego and gives him elusions of power and respect from Putin when in reality Putin is playing Trump like a fiddle. The New York Times was not right. Donald Trump is not a bright guy. I stand strongly with my friends in Canada ??.

A huge deterioration with allies indeed. Over the past week or so a huge deterioration with Ukraine, a huge deterioration with Europe, a huge deterioration with NATO and a huge deterioration with Mexico. And I'm sure I'm missing quite a few more nations. canada exports 75+% of its overall products into the united states, it only imports 50ish% overall products from the united states of america. This is why the tariffs are in place. Agree or disagree, this is why trump is doing what hes doing. Our country is in shambles and we need our allies to pump money into our economy or else it will only get worse in our country. And both canada and mexico are outraged by the simple way trump is approaching this.
