Thanks to Democrats that illegal immigrants are entering USA and hopefully the Democrats open their houses to 5 strangers live in it.

Canadians are friendly and apologize a lot to strangers but do not want any new friends. You can have casual engaging chats with people but don’t think that makes you on-track to make a friend like you might in the USA.

It’s called fraud… why wasn’t this looked into better? I heard citizens are renting half of their bed to complete strangers to pay their rent.

It also depends on the person; Some Indians can be nice and helpful too. Few times strangers helped me in time of need. It depends on situations and who is who? I understand the dialogue in discussion. Thx

It's wild to me that anyone thinks that any amount of illegals immigration is ok, if one stranger jumps my fence it's a problem but if 40000 or more a month show up no one cares? The entire thing makes no sense, who are they what diseases do they have? Are they dangerous until they can legally show up with all that and ask permission they should just be dumped on the other side of the border and banned for life for committing the crime of trespassing

No one allows strangers to live in their homes permanently, in the same way no country should allow illegal immigrants to live there forever. Always think of your country like your home and protect it well. Period.???

It doesn’t matter to him whether you came here legally or illegally - he said you are “poisoning the blood of our country”. He only wants white people from Norway and such. You are immoral. The Bible clearly teaches to love your neighbor (not only if they are “legal”) and welcome the stranger and the refugee. I dont see an abuse rather a fact. Not saying she's right. The fact is she's more Canadian than any recent Immigrants. The thing is, dont be so sensitive as it does not matter unless you seek validations from strangers. especially when such talks comes from an elderly person who perhaps not has alot perspectives and understanding of these generation. If one thinks can change the mentality of others, its absolutely not by arguing or filming. Canadian are lovely people but why they think strangers in own country. Strict your police rules if anyone found in criminal activity then deport them , but please don’t say white Canadian are homeless because they are responsible their own condition. Im canadian. I know it's a stereotype but people are just so nice in Canada. People do say sorry a lot, thank you, please. Lots of people hold doors for you, strangers love to small talk and are very friendly. It's pretty common that if someone drops their wallet, someone will return it to the owner. This is why I love Canada so much.

This spillover into the U.S was inevitable, after prime minister boy wonder decided it was good idea to open the flood gates to anyone from anywhere by the hordes...mostly from South and East Asia. The social fabric in Canada has deteriorated rapidly ever since. I am a stranger in my own city. Once friendly, cohesive neighborhoods have now turned into ethnic enclaves. Nobody speaks English anymore. Average paying jobs are becoming more scarce, higher paying jobs more competitive. There's a housing shortage and rent has sky rocketed ($2000+ per month for 1-bedroom apt). We're now in the midst of a health care crisis where emergency wait rooms are filled to capacity with 5-8 hour wait times and a shortage of family gp's accepting new patients, and lastly traffic has become so unbearable, where it's bumper to bumper all day now and into the evening. Yep, in 9 years the Trudeau government and the Liberals have single handedly made Canada unliveable

When immigration is so massive in the hundreds of thousands per year that is surpasses a country's capacity to integrate them especially if you consider the tremendous cultural difference between Canadians and Indians. Indians as the newcomers are not doing enough to adapt their way of life to embrace the local culture, creating a huge cultural gap between them and their Canadians hosts. Take Brampton as an example, the overwhelming number of Indians there is completely changing the cultural environment of that city and white Canadians dont identity anymore with their city, some have been there for over 100 years, now they feel like strangers and the end up by wanting to leave.

Myself working and living in Germany since last 3 years as a blue card holder IT professional. To this date, I have made 0 contacts in germany, making friends here is a far fetched dream. People just don't even look at a stranger person of colour. To them, we are auslanders who are not fit to integrate in their so called german culture. The housing crunch and slow lathargic medical system makes Germany even less attractive. The government needs to understand that not everyone from different parts of the world can learn German. The IT professionals don't get enough time to even look after their health during day to day office activities, on top of it, they are asked to learn german post office hours. Its too much for me.

In a way , you also have to blamed when you connect to the scrupulous international student agent that is in your country !!! You should do more diligent investigation what kind of person you are talking too !!! now a days it is very hard to talk to stranger ! ?????????????

I’m in Canada for past 2 years. Despite its negatives what I appreciate the most is work life balance and women’s safety. Life is difficult for international students but for those who come here with PR or jobs it’s a little better for them. Anti India sentiments are mostly among Khalistanis. There is absolute logic for non Khalistani Canadians to not like Indians- the quality of people who have been coming here are not exactly the ‘brains’ and crème de la crème of India. They lack basic etiquette and civic sense and have been caught shoplifting, evading fares on public transit. We have no one to blame other than ourselves for this. Otherwise Canadians are very polite and friendly to immigrants. I’ve never had strangers holding doors to public places open for me back in India which I have experienced here.

Yeah I pretty much gave up on finding german friends in my first year. They aren't as social/open with strangers and those germans who are friendly already made enough friends growing up. There is also the language barrier; even if you were decent with the language, you would still fall a bit behind in casual settings due german colloquialism.\n\nYour best chance to make new friends is to mingle with other foreigners.

Agreed it's nothing about immigrants, but when don't assimilate and don't learn English and bring their problems (e.g. family honour killings) and create segregated communities (e.g. Asian-ification of Highway 7 in Markham) - then yeah we feel like strangers in our own land we don't recognize anymore.

The documentation for IT stuff will be written in approximate English to please the 3-5% readers who just wanted to earn a higher wage for a few years, but not commit to the culture of their host country.\n\nIf both sides speak only a second language and not their mother tongue, what are the chances of ever feeling like you really understand the other? Well, I am leaving, yes. Although I am very grateful with Germany, I work in IT, and I don't hold a diploma, but I have more than 20 years of experience in the field, I always been offered jobs beneath my experience, only because of a paper. I am Italian and was very enthusiastic when I arrive 4 years ago, but the way I was treated was mostly bad, that led me not wanting to study the language anymore, people were so agressive in the streets. When I needed the back of the justice, it was never on my favour, even when I was right, as I was hit in the street by a stranger who made my face bleed, police said that it was nothing and that it was the opposite, even when they had evidence. I was mistreated at a hospital in Schwabing, München and medical attention was refused, police didn't help and they requested my to litereally scream for help, and I did because I was bleeding on a place I didn't know, with -4 degrees, without any jacket. I even tried with the discrimination line, which doesn't work, and if you write them an Email, they will say they cannot help. I Will never understand that level of cruelty, not to mention 5000 Euros I had to pay for a ticket, because I suppousedly scratch the car of a person and because my Kaution was never returned, tried, but never got a lawyer, because you need to pay for the air you breathe in this country. ARD, what is that? You pay for the right of internet, and you pay internet as well, the desorganization with the states is massive, and often times, you will get a letter in your box post having to pay somehting else. My energy and money was completely drained. I just had it. Despite of everything, this country tought me great things, like discpline and hard work which I really appreciate and will take this knowledge...somewhere else. I also became better human being as a result of being exposed to all of the bad things. But I am isolated case, not everyone goes through these things, I did, and to me it was more than enough to wanting to Auf Wiedersehen. Unfortunaly Germany prefers to keep people who did not come to the country to add something, crazy as it seems, they would allow more people who rape, do not respect their culture and commit other crimes, instead of really welcoming people who came here to have a better life. Germany is currently too focused on other countries problems and failed on attending the needs of their citizens and the citizens who came to live here, including europeans, as myself. I truly believe that Germany is a beautiful country, München is one of the most beautiful cities I have ever seen, and has astonishing landscapes and vibrant nature. But...

The police and laws in place are not only thinking of the individual wearing the Kirpan which looks like a Knife.\nThe police and laws take into account the endless possibilities that could happen by having that object pulled out of the holster and used to hurt someone on campus. All my life I've simply wanted to grow up immersed in my own community and culture. \nWhere there's a sense of belonging and freedom from navigating racial/ religious sensitivities. \n\nBut instead I grew up a stranger in my own country, where every culture except for the native host culture gets celebrated with pride. \nA land where the women no longer sustaining their ethnic group by settling down with men of their own ethnicity but are settling down with women or with foreign men. \n\nEach to their own, but what happens when it's widespread and dysfunctional?
