This is terrible and I don't understand why the government would only take Indian students about 90% of the international students were from India and uneducated and non-verified credentials. I don't understand was the government too much worried about the money they will be bringing I don't understand like this has the real Cause of the trouble for everyone why you only would take so much of the Indian students why not the rest of the world if you really want to help your new your universities to pay off their salaries and run and those new Indian breed that is coming they are really not ready to come to the Canada illiterate people.

Employers should be aware of SINs before hiring people. I am also an immigrant, but my dad worked hard as a skilled worker to bring us here to Canada. I pay my duly taxes monthly and yearly. So I find it unfair when people work under the table. However, I've noticed that some students, who never attend their classes, end up in high positions with well-paying jobs at big companies. Meanwhile, I can't count how many refugees and immigrants are in low-income brackets, receiving 100% coverage for their medication and a monthly allowance from the government. In contrast, Canadian senior citizens still have to pay 20-30% of their medication costs and don't get the same privileges when it comes to their essentials. It frustrates me that the government makes our senior citizens suffer at retirement age, even after they've worked so hard for so many years. Yet they still struggle to pay for their own medication and necessities. I've encountered many rude refugees and people on income support from other countries who feel entitled to special treatment just because they are under government programs. Ironically, some of them come wearing luxury clothes and bags—like Gucci and Louis Vuitton. As I said, I am an immigrant too, but my heart goes out to those who have fully earned the support and benefits they deserve.

Well, I'm gonna give you Canada Immigration an advice on how to catch these people and all those in other countries who has the same situation. These people are doing jobs like delivery like Uber, Skip, Doordash, etc., BUT...they are not using their legal name to apply for that instead they are using another person's account to do that job, whose account is legal and had been in the job for so many years. The connection between those people is not relevant to any gang or organizations but they operate like one, the advantage is both parties earn money while in their eyes is "legal". This is normal settings in my country(3rd world country), you have several taxis and you need to hire drivers to operate, its up to you if you're gonna hire legit drivers or not, the only difference is that the undocumented driver is cheaper. And how do I know these things, I work in a fastfood chain in Waterloo, you need to identify which order the driver will pickup and the delivery driver need to verify the order by the order number through the app but sometimes you can see the Account's photo is different from the delivery driver, so yeah, that's the gist of it. I have no idea why modern countries like Canada and America are so "dumb" or lack of critical thinking when it comes to crimes like this, but I guess people and politicians are the same all over the world. And now, they are bringing more people without checking their background, if there's any criminal record or such, oh yeah, speaking of that, how do you verify those records from another country if those records can be produced with 3rd party company in which an employee from a government institution is behind it to make it more look like it is legit.

Immigrants are not aliens, they are legal immigrants. On the other side, original Canadians are to be blame for their low birth rate, due to which government hasn't any choice but to have foreigners to run the businesses and dialy life course. The old Dutch guy in the interview was right. When my father applied to bring us to Canada, we went through many tests and procedures, police checks from back home, and even from the FBI to prove we had never been to North America and the process lasted almost a year and a half. No money was given to our family, my dad was working our step mother was working; but now all these immigrants get in quick and free. I have a friend that works for a bank and he tells me people who can't even speak English or French show up and deposit government cheques for 30 or 40 thousand dollars. What about Canadians born and raised here, some need help, they don't get big cheques. There has to be a stop to all this influx of people coming from other countries who have it really easy once they're here, thanks to the government. I'm not anti-immigration, as I'm an immigrant myself, but this BS has to stop.

I grew up in Brampton and I immigrated from India in the early 2000s, one thing that's not mentioned is the recent (2024) riots between Sikhs and Hindus. When I was growing up in Brampton, I had friends who were Sikhs, Pakistani Muslims, Chinese Christians, Hindus, Black, and White. The Sikh seniors used to say good morning to us on the morning walks to school and everyone got along because we accepted that bringing the racial/ethnic conflict from India to Canada was wrong. Recently, there have been tensions, fights, riots, and clashes between Hindu and Sikh Nationalists because the government is not actively filtering for quality immigrants anymore and the people being lured to this country are the ones who can't understand that this is wrong. This would have been unheard of 10 years ago.

Canada is in the same boat as England and Australia where our government is run by an Anglo-Saxon form of government. I am a born and raised Canadian. I have 3 boys that are 30, 25, 21, my 30 yr old recently went blind and is dealing with that in another province. My other 2 live at home with me, because none of us can afford to live on our own as we rent, and they can't find work anywhere. The government needs to fix the problems they have before bringing in new people. If your own people can't survive, why the hell are you bringing in more people. Up goes the crime rate, up goes homelessness. The worst part is most homeless people are born and bred Canadians, while the immigrants get jobs and housing pretty much handed to them. I don't think the prime minister should have been able to make the decision to bring more and more immigrants here with out asking the people.

I have lived over 15 years in Canada. I am an immigrant, and also don't like much when people bring their narrow understanding of their world, regardless of the culture. But, that doesn't equal to automatically blame the immigrants for new generations not having a job, or slavery wages. This is why I desperately wish there was an actual Libertarian party to vote for in elections! There is a party, but they have not gotten enough signatures to be able to run yet, I don't even know if there is an office or representative in Ontario right now! I wish! Their policies (on paper) seem great, and geared more towards a 'Canada first'/'Canadians First' approach. They touch on a lot of topics and there seem to be a lot of things they want to change! But a government is still a government, they will be motivated by money regardless of any good intentions they may have. So if and when things change, WE NEED TO HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE! We as the citizens have the power to change things for the better! It's just unfortunate that I see so many people getting pushed down or ignored or hated because they are speaking their mind. Remember, Canada dosen't have laws like the US, our freedoms aren't as protected nor do we have the same freedoms they do (like owning and protecting your own property, or self defense!) We as people need to start being honest and expressing things instead of being terrified of the backlash (of which there will be in these times). The only way we can make progress is by deciding to get out of our comfort zones and standing for what is right! For the freedoms and protections we deserve! To make a future worth living for us and our children! It will not be easy, but when is change ever easy? I hope that one day I won't be terrified of the thought of bringing a life into this world and country. I hope I can be stable enough to be able to give my future children a decent life. But right now? I would never want to have children, things are too unstable and I don't want to bring a child into this country and force them to live a terrible life they never asked for! I desperately want to be able to keep hoping for a better future, a better country, and people who can enjoy their lives instead of constantly worrying and stressing about everything. I agree with the these people's comments regarding the immigration issues. I've been Canadian for over 50 years and this is the worst I've seen or experienced here in this country. Why are we as major tax payers are forced to finance the lives of these people who are only here to take from us, not give back in any way for us who supported them coming in to feel it's been a good decision made by our government, from our pockets. They do also bring their war, stealing, lying, scamming with them, creating more division with us who were living peacefully before. There's so much more that I see and experience now, that makes me want to leave, and it shouldn't be me who leaves home for others who have no good intentions.

As a multi-generational, born-and-raised Canadian citizen. Recently, I have been unemployed for 1 year and 2 months, which is the longest I have ever gone without a job in my entire life. My EI has run out, and during this stressful time, I have only had 4 actual interviews with real human beings. I am also a caregiver for both of my parents, and working remotely has been my profession for the last 7 years. Remote work allows me to both care for them and bring in a full-time income. Despite having 30 years of customer service experience, I find myself being overlooked. Many companies now use AI to prescreen resumes, so if your resume isn’t ATS-friendly, it often never gets seen by a human. Even if you make it past that stage, there are endless AI-driven assessments before you even have a chance to speak with someone. And when you finally do, it’s often yet another layer of screening rather than a real interview. I know I bring value — I consistently receive compliments from customers across cultures for speaking clearly, precisely, and making their experience enjoyable. Yet I find myself competing with younger candidates who can work longer hours, or new immigrants that companies often prioritize, sometimes with government incentives. At 55, I feel like I’m being overlooked despite my proven skills and professionalism. Right now, I live with my retired parents and should be caring for them. Instead, my father is helping me pay my bills so I don’t ruin the credit I worked so hard to build. If I don’t secure a job soon, I fear I’ll lose everything else I’ve managed to hold onto. The stress is overwhelming — I cry daily, and on top of everything, I also face health issues of my own, but I have no space to focus on them because survival takes priority. Canada today feels very different from the country I grew up in. Since the pandemic, things have become harder in every way — jobs, housing, and simply living. Even if I manage to secure work, rent alone now takes up nearly 75% of what I’d earn, not even including other basic bills. It’s disheartening to feel like no matter how hard I push, I can’t get ahead.

Canadians can't afford to have babies. I don't know what makes the government or the immigrants they bring in think that, after the free government stipends and support ends, theyll be able to afford to have babies. They won't. They'll be in the same position most Canadians are in: working their life away to pay their bills, and having the government take half their income in the form of taxes in order to pay for all the NEW immigrants who arrive. I'm guessing that's partly why a lot of new immigrants are leaving Canada shortly after they arrive: they were sold a fairy tale that no longer exists, and probably won't exist again until Canadians wake up and vote out the Liberal party.

At the end of the day, I don’t think people should be projecting their anger at immigrants and the only reason they should project their anger immigrant is if they’re bringing a nuisance and not follow the lawBut for being in Canada, that’s the government’s fault. The government kind of screwed everybody here, the immigrants, and the citizens of this country.. by bringing so many people into Canada these guys are also struggling. I almost think I wonder if there was some kind of like an underpayment that government officials got from these universities because a lot of of the people that come to the country as students they have to take some kind of a course and pay twice or three times as much as Canadian do.

When immigrants are sick of immigration, you know there's a problem! I have no problem with someone coming to make their life and Canada better. The problem is with the immigrants that bring their problems with them or take advantage of the host country, regardless of which country they move to or from. I was never brought up with racism. I'm sick of immigrants. I've had multiple scammed lotto tickets that won were taken & fed BS. Up to 147,000 & because it was a quick-pic lotto corp doesn't even look at signatures!? They walk in packs, the doctor's office, the whole family is there?WTF They own businesses, collect government income & hire family, so no taxes are being paid. We're too nice & they walk all over us, bringing their crime & filthy living habits. Pollution pigs! I'm tired of them claiming all the funds they get while working at family restaurants. Welp, 1. We gave government immigration jobs to the very same greasy people who are not doing any kind of vetting. 2. Immigration "consultants" gaming the system by submitting false documentation and defrauding their own people in the process. (See Item 1) 3. Shopping mall colleges enrolling foreign students, taking their money and pumping out useless "Business Diplomas" for classes they never attended, Then they claim asylum and or turn to crime all the while mooching off food banks. (See items 1 & 2) 4. Foreign investors buying Tim Hortons, McDonalds, and other retail business then import and only hire their own people to work as indebted slaves as Canadian tax payers subsidize them. 5. Anyone can claim refugee status in Canada and get instant benefits. 6. They can bring over Grama and Grampa who contribute zero to the economy and clog up social services and the healthcare system. Questions?...

Yeah, keep putting more taxes on everything. Keep taxing income and property that has already been taxed. Then act surprised when the fertility rate drops that low! So then you bring in migrants who will reproduce like crazy. Then you need to collect even more taxes, robbing your hard-working population to provide for them, and you get even more surprised. But of course, you know exactly what you're doing. Those low-quality migrants are your future voters. That's why your asses in the government seats aren't going to be replaced anytime soon. I am afraid you are not asking the crucial question -- why did the government allow such massive immigration to Canada? Do you think the calculation of the government was to help immigrants by bringing in so many to Canada? Is the Canadian government truly that humane? Clearly one impetus for this mass immigration was Canadians cannot by themselves support all of the social systems -- healthcare, welfare, retirement, etc., so Canada needed immigrants who would work like drones to financially support the country. There is also the business interest. Everywhere you turn there is new high-rise being built with hundreds of apartment who do you think is going to pay the $3000 rent for those apartments? Canadians banks also love the deposits of hardworking immigrants. Don't get it twisted, immigrants have been allowed into Canada out of necessity not humanity.
