I find it very funny that people who were immigrants in the past hate the new immigrants.\nThe only true Canadians are the Asian aboriginals who lived on Canadian lands before Canada was founded.\nAnd as a Japanese born in a country with thousands of years of history, I can't see any culture worth preserving in Canada with such a short history other than that of the Asian aboriginal people.\nSo there is nothing wrong with Canada ceasing to be a white country and becoming a country of new ethnic groups from outside Europe.\nCanadians of European origin who complain about immigrants should realize that they are immigrants too.

There are about 440,000 illegal Europeans in the US, 239,000 Chinese and 220,000 Indians. So why am I not seeing Europeans and Chinese illegals in chains being deported?

I’m shocked to see another race besides Mexicans. Soooo this means ICE is going after the Australians, Europeans, Canadians, that’s in our country illegally. You have to get them all. If you are going to target melanated people you need to concentrate on the illegal immigrants that are Caucasian as well. Fair is fair.

I think the Canadian government needs to be a little more careful with the type of immigrants that enter the country. I don't see it as a problem to have Chinese, Japanese, Indians and other people immigrating to Canada. But I think it is also necessary to attract more people from Europe to live in the country. Canada is a country with a white majority and, if they are not careful, the country's demographics could change a lot over the years. European ancestry needs to remain alive in the country. I dont mind the indians since i dont live in an area with too many indians. Well i do (markham) but what annoys me (not tryna sound racist but i just need to say it) theres a lot of chinese here and markham's demographics is like 27-19% european and indians are 19% here but here we have nearly 50% chinese out of our like what 368,000 citizens.. i dont mind them but everywhere i go i hear people speaking chinese, posters in chinese, even some teachers have been teaching more chinese than canadian history at my sisters school. My PE class is 18 chinese kids, 3 white kids, 3 indians and 3 black people. See what i mean.. They're smart and keep to themselves but in my experience they're pretty loud and can often be a bit rude and a lot of the times a bit racist too. Edit: before anyone asks yes i am white. I am not trying to be racist but I would just like someone to hear me out. I think people in Brampton are having similar issues.

If they had it their way they would have been independent since the 1750s. They don't even like to speak English. The problem I see it that Palestinians aren’t mistakenly considered a nationality or ethnicity. They are not. Palestinians aren’t ethnicity or nationality. Palestinian is historical and geographical term that being used to describe people who live in that nonexistent Palestine. Those people majority are Arabs. NOT to be confused with Arabs say from UAE for example. Just like Europeans aren’t ethnicity or different so Arabs. A Dutch isn’t Hungarian and a Norwegian isn’t Slovakian . The most Palestinian Arabs belong to Egyptian Arabs. They also have huge minority Turks and Iranians. Palestinian Arabs aren’t related to other Arabs. All they have in common is is a similar religion and language that might be similar or the same however that’s doesn’t make them related to Arabs who live i for example in Saudi Arabia or United Arab Emirates. Palestinians most likely descendants of the Mamluks, Egyptian Arabs and descendants of Turks and Iranians.

Came here 2.5 years ago and been working from my second week here onwards. As a European, I have seen how the different urbanistic priorities here make everyday life simply noisy, smelly and encourage a non healthy way of life. And whilst I believe that everyone should be respected, I also think that this respect should stop when respecting an old suburbanite means throwing away city's financial wellness and viability. \nHowever seeing how my colleagues, even the young ones, want to preserve that way of life, qualifying it as Free, discouraged me, and makes me want to invest in a future elsewhere.... As long as immigration isn't out-pacihng our rates of housing construction, then I see no issue with it. The U.S was founded with open immigration. I just don't want to let the U.S have a complete housing shortage like the Netherlands and many European countries and Canada.

I'm Eastern European immigrant myself growing up here I love the diversity going to school amd meeting people from different walk of life. Now all you see is Indians everywhere when you have one thing of to many is never good. On top of that Indians don't assimilate in the culture like the Chinese.

Just a beautiful dream is to see European countries without these muslims. They destroy our peaceful life and to look at these muslim women in our cities dressed like slaves is really sad.

My issues is that Canadians grew up with diversity, however now you walk into Tims, McDonald's, Walmart, etc., and you see no diversity, just 100% Indians in most places. Hardly any blacks, Asians, eastern Europeans, etc. It is also a matter of too many too fast, not enough time for them to integrate into Canadian society. As far as government, they are bringing in too many people without the infrastructure to support them, so they are taking away from Canadians of all races.

I have been living in Turkey, in Ankara there are plenty of embassies. Why none of these people asks for visa or support through papers? If they have thousands to get smuggled they might have some credits to try the legal way. As European I agree is not optimal the behavior of Greek forces, but given the sheer amount of people forcing their way in I don't see how any different practical approach could improve the situation for EU. There is also a wide spectrum of people border crossing into EU, also many get rid of their passports as they cross in order not to get identified. I believe emigration is a human right, but laws of the receiving country are to be followed, and nations deserve to decide who has the right to live in their territory. To conclude, It's a complicated situation and I'd just wish anyone could live in peace and prosperity

Why do governments always see things 'in hindsight?' Regular everyday, working Americans and Canadians saw it YEARS AGO that this would happen. You can't let the floodgates open to anyone who wants to go to America, Canada, European Countries, without a PLAN in place to address it. There have to be limits, there has to be a PLAN!!!!! Now, those of us born here are suffering because of it too, not just the immigrants who are sold a bill of goods into believing they are moving to a better life. Change Immigration Laws NOW!!!!!! We pay taxes all our lives in our birth country and we are suffering because of politicians who do nothing but talk, talk, talk.

I am a 4th generation Canadian (european decent).\nMy ancestors came here and didn't try to change it into a colony of where they came from, they adapted to the Canadian culture that was apparant at the time.\nThey blended in quite quickly while maintaining there home country culture at home or at community centers.\nI have welcomed immigration my entire life and still do. I have many friends who are 3rd generation Indians who speak the language and know the culture just as i do.\nThey do not try to turn Canada into india, and in turn they are accepted and respected by all.\nThe young indian students coming to Canada have been exploited in india by promoting a back door into PR status through the international student program and in Canada by employers who take advantage of their fear of deportation.\nThe blame lies on the recruiting in India, the post seconday system in Canada, the employers like Tim Hortons, uber, skip the dishes and door dash who put profits over living standards.\n The majority of the blame goes to the govt of Canada for turning a blind eye to something that everyone saw but didnt talk about for fear of being labeled a racist.\nReturn immigration to 500,000 per year including refugees, students seeking to stay and all other groups and you will see all will go back to how it was 10 years ago.\nPeace and love.

I have been living in Calgary for 31 years now I never seeing so many Indian from India like now, it's too much, why the government brings people from only India, why they don't bring from other nationally like Mexico and Brazil or other European and Middle Eastern countries. It should be deffrent nationally not just from India

Politicians are myopic and can’t see or don’t care what it will be the impact of mass immigration in Canada in the long run. It appears that the Country with time will lose its predominantly Christian with European customs and traditions. Remember how Christmas was celebrated in the past.
