Trump is aware but he doesn't care. It was NEVER about drugs at the boarder. It was trump being used willingly as a puppet by Putin to take the U.S. out which could never happen unless we are no longer a part of NATO & have no allies. The next step will come in 3 years when he uses those he's put in place in the military to stay in office FOREVER! I'm sorry to say this but we've given away America. It will never recover.

Maybe they are planning something. Trump once remarked that Canada could become the U.S.'s 51st state, so perhaps he was considering a strategy to weaken the country as part of a long-term plan. He might have been looking for a justification to assert control over Canada. Additionally, his strategic support for Putin raises concerns. Trump also once suggested renaming the 'Gulf of Mexico' to the 'Gulf of America.' Considering all this, could we be on the brink of World War III?

It's refreshing to hear the Leader of a Country, speak clearly and honestly without unneccessary superlatives. Trump could learn alot from Mr Trudeau. God Bless Canada and God Help the United States of America!

I could not be prouder of my Canadian ancestors and more ashamed of America now. This is not how you treat your friends and neighbors we will get what we deserve some not me elected a fool and Putin's puppet. I am American independent voter who vote against Treasonous Trump this past election of 2024 in favor of Kamala Harris. While many of my fellow Americans voted for Trump many others like me did not. He, treasonous Trump, did nothing to help our economy which essentially stalled or went into generally neutral state with essentially no growth positively or negatively, followed by a near complete nose dive due to Treasonous Trump’s poor handling and equally poor response to the Covid-!9 Pandemic. How people could seemed to forget that Treasonous Trump, not Joe Biden, was responsible for the current sate of things following the pandemic is beyond me. \n\nMaga and Maga supporting Americans have been conned again by Treasonous Trump, who not only failed to properly respond to the Covid pandemic but also incited and or encouraged many of Maga supporters to essentially attack the US Capitol in hopes of stopping Joe Biden’s Presidential Certification. Those in the Inter national world are not alone in their condemnation of the disgrace and embarrassment that sis current US President Trump. True Americans who believe in our constitution and rule of law as decreed by the founding fathers of our nation must unfortunately bare part of the shame Maga America has brought upon our country as a whole.Truly good and decent Americans must bare the shame of now living in a country that much International world now no longer trusts and has lost respect for. For all the hateful Maga thinking and or supporting Americans there are as many truly good non maga Americans who want more peaceful relations with allies in the international world. And plan on having fewer dollars to start with because your carbon tax, your sales tax, your income tax are all going up. WAY up. This is what happens when you decide to compete with a USA that is unshackled. The USA can produce more of our own oil than we can use, and we will sell the extra to YOUR foreign customers cheaper than you can produce it. Then you will be BEGGING for a pipeline. So Trump invited Canada to become a member of the most successful and powerful union of sovereign states in history, something that even our own territories of Guam, Puerto Rico, and all the others do not have. An invitation to be a bona fide member. Why do you think that is? Minerals? The USA has all the minerals we need. We have more oil, coal, and natural gas than any nation also, and we can produce and refine it cheaper than any country can. So Canada was invited to become a state so Trump could peacefully eject the ChiComs from North America. And did you accept? No. Did you say no thank you? No. You gave us the finger and said f&$k you to Trump. We hear you Canada. But now is not the time for pain, that comes later.

The only thing Canada has that the United States depends on is their energy for the Northern US. Rich people like inflation. The last scorching inflation we had in the 80s, CDs for 3 years and only 10,000 dollars drew 13.5%, there was also high, high, high unemployment, home loans were 18.5% interest with good credit. I used to be a huge fan of America. I truly believed it was the world’s policeman, the guiding force for justice and freedom. I looked up to the country, admiring its strength, its values, and the way it stood for what was right. Trump and MAGAism won't last for ever. The real problem is that the longer this madness continues, the longer the US will take to get back it's power and influence. The rest of the world understands that the problem comes from an incapable and illiterate leader but it also understands that this could happen again. America might take decades to regain trust. The USA president Trump wants everything to be manufactured and sourced locally from the United States of America. He knows what happened during COVID-19 and what problems the world experienced because of a global supply chain. Now while it doesn't really make sense with Canada who is right next door the Canadians were given the opportunity to integrate into the USA so there could be some motive in that. And why wouldn't they want that anyway? Just remove the Canadian border and everyone becomes the USA. Why not?

Reading as much as I could of the comments below, it is with great respect that we as human can still care for one another even when we are from different countries, continents, backgrounds an so one. Canada and Mexico are not responsible for the people in the US who chose to use drugs.
