So proud of the Canadians for standing up to Trump. Know that at least 1/2 of the American population is completely behind the Canadians. We are so embarrassed by our POTUS and his lackeys. God help us all.

Well done canada for standing your ground....having family there I know how strong the feeling is amongst Canadians.....be proud of who you are and take your produce , minerals and oil and deal with people who will treat you like an equal respected partner .I've no doubt europe will be next ......the american government will slowly isolate itself from its western partners and that's s real shame for the American public .......it'll cost jobs in the us cause inflation and it's gonna get a lot more expensive for everyone

Well done, PM Trudeau. You made us proud as Canadians. You said it like it is. Donald, and I noticed you refrained from calling him President Trump because he is certainly not acting like a president, Donald is siding with our enemies, snuggling up to a malicious dictator rather than taking a stand for right and for the common good. He has absolutely no reason to impose tariffs and is actually breaking legal agreements to do so, but we all know that Trump believes he is above the law. If you like this speech, go and listen to Premier Ford of Ontario as he threatens to tariff all the energy which flows into the States or even just cut it off. Nobody wins in this war, certainly not Americans. But Elon and Donald don't care. They are filthy rich and will just plan chaos and world domination in their sandbox while everyone else in the USA takes the hit.

That part of this song “I’m proud to be an American” went cold. Half of us “Americans” voted for this. We were warned and informed on their plans because of our own insecurity on certain issues blinded us on the bigger picture. As a Canadian, I am proud of our leadership on the tariffs. We are polite people, but we refuse to be bullied. How can Trump treat our country this way when he cozied up to dictators? Well, my siblings who are Americans won't see me for awhile. I have to stand with my country. Proud to be Canadian. We as a country are united against tyrannical behavior.

When I was growing up in Canada, hearing of someone being a “Proud American” was something I admired. Today it’s a punch line to a joke about the American education system. They have nothing left to be proud of, and I’m so thankful to be from this country instead. Trump administration or not, the American people can not be trusted to vote in their own self interest, let alone the interests of the allies that stood with them for the last century and who have lost lives sending men and women over seas to answer the American call for friendship, justice, and loyalty. America wants to stand alone so let them. The global order is shifting, and Canada needs to plan accordingly. Don’t listen to what people say, watch what they do, and Americans have done enough.

Preach Senora❤❤❤ As a Filipino-American and A LEGAL RESIDENCE OF USA, ( Not a tourist using a tourist visa ) i have to go back and forth to the US immigration office in Philippines, i waited for months, stand in line for long hours a couple of times , interviewed by US immigration counselors, paid different kinds of processing fees, even had a seminar what to bring and not to bring in the USA,and a complete PHYSICAL CHECK UP AND VACCINATED TO PROTECT AMERICANS before getting in US soil..these happened not in one day only,takes months!! And i am proud AMERICAN ❤❤❤?

It stands to reason our society would develop into one more invested in peace and negotiation, and even a deeper sense of social responsibility to our fellow citizens' welfare.\n\nI know of many different reasons why I love your country, enjoy visiting, and am glad we are neighbours.
