It's not about race or culture. It's just too much is too much. Too much for our health care system. Too much for our economy to handle. Too many jobs are now scarce. Too much is bad for the people who have paid their taxes here forever, just so one particular immigrant group can use up resources that long time generations have built. I'm not saying any particular culture, but there are too many of them. This particular culture should also be reduced because they are exploiting every mistake the government makes (from their good hearts) or loopholes to stay. Not just stay but trying to transform a country into their own. That is wrong. Most immigrants from past generations didn't come here to conquer the country. They came here to be part of a great country. Contribute to it. Make it better, not make it worse. And now here we are. How are we going to fix this? Put a very long pause on immigeation. Get rid of international students from this particular country. They have no right to stay. Stop giving licenses to unqualified people that can't read, write, speak or even understand English. It's becoming a safety issue everywhere. Again, it's not about race. It's the "too many" factor that the country can not sustain.

Years ago, my great great grandfather came over here with $5. And he did fine. The liberals bring over all these monkeys over to dedicate into the streets, poach our fish, groping our women and young girls. Panhandling when they have a Rolls-Royce and a brand new home. Disrespecting Canada altogether and a lot of them say that they hate Canada if they hate Canada so much pack your stuff up and go back and be brave and clean up your own country instead of making Canada into outhouse

That was a great speech from Prime Minister Trudeau. One of his best I must say . . . we've got to stick together and fight back this idiocy from Trump, and if we can do that we will win and he'll back off from these ridiculous and needless tariffs.

I am a Republican leaning American who did not vote for Trump (never voted for him), and I urge every country to stand up to bullying tactics of Trump. I am relatively rich, so this fluctuating market or rising egg prices will not affect me; poorer people than me will be affected greatly. And ironically, these poorer people voted for Trump. I just don't understand it because if I am a poor American, I would have voted for Bernie Sanders because at least the guy has some integrity unlike most politicians. And I am sorry to say I would have voted for Kamala Harris if she were not so dumb. Even though I lean Republican in that my values align more with Republican ideals, I consider whether a candidate has strong integrity and found none in Trump and Kamala Harris.

No one is buying the fentanil pretext. A great speech from Justin Trudeau. I sincerely hope the Americans will wake up and destitute this ''Wanna be Putin'' in Trump along with his mentally challenged vice president. Loved the intervention of former General Wesley Clark. I mean, when you served the US Army as a general, i'm pretty sure this man loves his country and hearing him saying he's totally with Canada in this issue. It's sums it all.

I almost completely support everything he says. My problem comes with his comments on Fentanyl. Please, this medication is a game changer for so many suffering daily in agony with chronic pain or deadly conditions. For those who need it medically, it is strictly controlled and monitored. Fentanyl is “eaten” by pain, so for those who need it there is no high, just relief.\nThose on it legally already have to deal with a great amount of prejudice, being treated as addicts and dealers when they are just trying to find a way to survive immense pain everyday. This medication allows them to get out of bed, to attend school or work, to have a life. It gives them hope and relief. \nThe opioid crisis is real, but those on a prescription are not the cause. Canada already has some of the strictest protocols in the world for this medication, leaving many people in agony as they loose access to it. \nDon’t take away something that is saving them. The drug is not wrong, those selling it illegally are in the wrong.

I’ve read a lot of comments from people saying “Trudeau ruined Canada” in response to people expressing their support for Trudeau in this time.\n\nThat’s not really a great point.\n\nIf Trudeau hasn’t been good for Canada, but gives a coherent, inspiring, and professional speech in this moment that unites Canadians and others alike, then that should speak so much to how awful this situation is. Huge respect to Trudeau and Canada for not backing down. I hope one day we’ll be allies with the right side of the world again.\n\nWe wanna talk about a leader ruining a country? If Canada is such a great friend of the US, then why have they not paid their NATO bill or manned their borders? Also, if Canada feels that the US is being unfair or not great friends and allies, then wy the public temper tantrum. Go find new friends build new alliances. Wow, this is the first time I've seen Trudeau say sound and good things. When he actually works on sensible action instead of hyper liberal silliness, that's great. He comes across really well here.

I have been all over Canada, and i will say they are polite, kind, funny, great people. I'm from Montana, and we have always had so much in common. Trump actually did say the truth to the American people: Canada imports 95% of it's goods from the USA... with us refusing to buy American, with all of us buying Canadian or International products instead... how will he be making America great again ?? I must say even though he's had his flaws while in government, this speech was great! Right to the point, talking to Americans, the Donald and Canadian's. Stating the facts, what they have done as asked, and how Donald is trying to ruin the country with an illegal attack of unjustified tariffs.
