At this present time and in this current governmental climate, I do believe that changing a leader now would hurt Canada. Trudeau has first hand experience and has dealt with Trump and his tantrums, this isn’t Trudeau’s first rodeo. I am concerned with Trump antics another leader could be influenced with charm and falsehoods which Trudeau has already confidently stood up against.\nAnd for a moment, let’s think a little bit further out of the box. This isn’t about fentanyl as Prime minster Trudeau pointed out. This is about making life for Canadians extremely difficult and chaotic. It’s to bring division between the United States and Canada, and with Trump joking and jokes are not jokes sometimes they become reality Canada being a 51st state. Trump Being friends with Putin, with Russian ships in our Arctic Ocean think on this for a minute. Putin decided to invade Ukraine to expand his make believe empire. President Trump and Vladimir Putin working together. Hasn’t Trump said he wants Canada to be part of the USA and wants our Prime Minister to be a governor how insulting. How very insulting to the Canadian people who not just live in Canada, but are also united Canadians.

Tough times are upon us... But we will prevail. Become stronger, wiser, deeper, and more humble. \n\n\nRemember, this is not only the punishment. How can I become a Canadian?

It feels like watching a GI Joe movie coming to life where a disguised villain has become the president of USA. Stay strong Canadians! You have a great leader.

It would have been better to call the move “ill-advised”. Referring to POTUS by first name and saying it was “dumb” is just going to provoke DJT who everyone, fans and critics alike, knows is vain and does not have the humility to accept insults. It’s Trudeau breaking shtuff on his way out. He doesn’t have the mandate to put us in a worse position; he is being selfish, I think, in taking an unnecessary low-brow jab. Calling it ill-advised or similar gives Trump an out, to pass the buck to Lutnik when it becomes apparent that this tariff idea is a steaming pile for everyone involved.

Become a proud Canadian Citizen

Don't pull Trump out. This is the only way he can destroy the United States to become North Korea having no friends. I like to see that happening since I don't live there. The only reason the US imports so much from Canada is because the Democrats stopped production of all the materials Canada supplies the US because of their green policies. \nBut President Trump is reopening the gas, oil, electricity and agriculture production, so they won’t need to import so much from Canada, in fact probably reducing it substantially. \nProbably what will happen now is discussions on various goods to become equal on terms of cost in both countries levelling the playing field.

The biggest fear that D Trump has is that China becomes as strong as them. He uses Russia as his ally to physically threaten China. It's now time for the rest of the world to show that his plan can backfire. I think Europe and Canada should strengthen their free trade and investments with China (but make sure that they won't physically annex Taiwan). Trudeau can speak very eloquently and not get any results. The housing situation is a very big crisis and he almost resigned from the party and green energy regulations are not helping. At the very least Tarrifs will help Canada become stronger and tougher and self-reliant.
