Thank you Mr. Trudeau, for being such an honorable man. And let me say here: most Canadians, because they are generally more intelligent than most Americans, realize that less than 50% of the US voters voted for the sorry excuse for a leader.

This guy is awesome.\nCanada, you can be proud of him. Mr. Trudeau, kudos to you. Please, give an orange-faced leader in the U.S. a call, and let him know, if he wants the United States to thrive, Canada can start sending music teachers to the U.S. for all Americans to start learning a Canadian anthem. ?? O Canada! Our home and native land! ? ? ! Americans start learning it. You are a new Gulf of Canada ?? . Congratulations !!!

Donald will break his own arm trying to twist Justin’s arm. Canada is no Ukraine. Trump has bitten more than he can chew. Good luck Americans. Your Administrations both the current and one in the past are your worst enemies. Both the Democracy’s and the Republicans have let you down. Wake up, the world does not revolve around you.

Let's face it, Canadian and Americans are very different and we don't want to join the US.

The only thing that makes sense is that Trump may plan to let Putin invade Canada from the polar cap in retaliation for its refusal to submit to becoming part of the United States. It is very clear that Trump would not participate in the defense of Canada in the present context, even if it goes against all past history of North American partnerships and joint defense efforts.

Total respect for our Prime Minister today.\n\nDonold, you can Take Off, you Hoser!\n\nAnd you Americans I say, hey folks, lets work this out eh.

Canada’s 25% Tariffs? A Win for American Businesses in the Long Run\n\nAt first glance, Canada slapping a 25% tariff on U.S. goods might seem like a negative for America. But in reality, this move could actually work in our favor by making the U.S. economy stronger, more self-sufficient, and less dependent on foreign markets.\n\t1.\tBoosting American Manufacturing & Production – When Canada makes U.S. goods more expensive with tariffs, American businesses have a huge opportunity to shift focus to domestic markets and new trade partners. This could bring more production back home and reduce reliance on Canada.\n\t2.\tEncouraging Trade Diversification – The U.S. isn’t limited to Canada. If they want to play hardball, we can expand exports to other countries with fewer trade restrictions. Canada makes up about 15% of U.S. exports, but the rest of the world is wide open. This is a chance to diversify and strengthen our economy.\n\t3.\tMaking Canada Pay More for U.S. Goods – Tariffs don’t just hurt exporters—they also raise costs for Canadian consumers. If Canada wants American products, they’ll end up paying more or have to settle for alternatives that might be lower quality or more expensive from other countries.\n\t4.\tStrengthening America’s Negotiating Position – If Canada wants to raise tariffs, that gives the U.S. even more leverage in future trade talks. The U.S. economy is far larger and more powerful than Canada’s, and in the long run, they need us more than we need them.\n\t5.\tReducing America’s Trade Deficit – If fewer goods are exported to Canada, that means more products stay in the U.S. This helps lower dependence on foreign markets and could even stabilize prices for American consumers.\n\nBottom Line: Canada’s Move Hurts Them More Than It Hurts the U.S.\n\nIf Canada wants to put tariffs on U.S. goods, let them. In the long run, it pushes America to be more self-reliant, strengthens our industries, and forces Canada to pay the price for their own policies.\n\nAt the end of the day, America has the stronger economy, better resources, and more trade options—Canada needs U.S. trade more than we need theirs. If they want to make American goods more expensive, they’ll feel it a lot more than we will.

It is a sicked and dumb Trump coming back. American is no longer a reliable partner to the world because of your government's silliness and stupidity. No one should welcome Americans if you guys continue to this path down the road next 4 years. Even your closest alley is abandoning you! Let's hope that your loyal dogs don't bite you 1 day???!
|
| 2025-03-04 | 0 |
Most of Americans do not want this anymore than the Canadian people. But unfortunately our country has become infested by a misguided loyalty to a man who serves his own ego above all else. The only way for that to change is for the extremists that elected him to feel the pain of that decision. I forget who said it but all we can do is let him punch himself out.

Dear Prime Minister Trudeau, Thank you for speaking to the American public so kindly & articulately! Please let some of our states become provinces or territories of Canada. Please let us know the forms to fill out.... Hawaii must look pretty great to you all...?! If Donald can rename the Gulf of Mexico, surely we can adjust some border lines....?

why not just let American banks do business in Canada? ?

Born and raised in Canada here, 64 years old... American stuff is all over the place in this country... my Bosch D/W and washing machine are both made in USA... heck even our toilets are American Standard... and simultaneously we supply USA and ROW with high quality products that meet or exceed ASTM standards... so please do let us know how that Russian aluminum and steel works out because everything I've every seen from Russia is a fucking joke... there's absolutely nothing in my life that say Proudly Made in Russia because only the oligarchs are proud to be Russian.

Got to admit , I didn’t expect this really happening to Canada. Let’s get this overturned. These are our allies. Canadians don’t blame the American people.

Do not buy American products. Do not travel to America. Find other trading partners and do it permanently because we can no longer trust that U.S. Their citizens made a choice to vote for a criminal and a rapist so let's move on. Canada strong. We will stand together.

Wow Canadians are really polite, he only manifested American government, when in real life the Americans chose him and let him do what he's doing!

you Americans let this happen voting in Trump
|
| 2025-03-04 | 0 |
I don't care what side of the fence you sit on. I did not need to hear this man speak to already know Canada was, but may yet be, our greatest ally and trading partner. I have no idea what possessed Mr. Trump to decide to stab our allies in the back, but it was not something good. 27.5% of voting age adults voted for him. How many of them were serenaded by hollow promises and a good slogan. Perhaps all of the mud slinging and Russian media interference helped? If you add in our more studious teenagers, truly reformed felons, and immigrants who actually deserve a gold card, that number plummets to less than 25%. I won't ask people to wake up, if you are reading this you are already more than capable of finding out that I speak only the hard truth. This means less than a quarter of america wanted this. This means your vote and opinions DO count. I know it is incredibly difficult to reach for and find answers in a world where your president or primary candidate throws 'fake news' in your face on a regular basis. He is actually telling the truth. When he is not telling you is that he is a primary enabler of 'fake news'. To him, only his word is law, only his opinion matters, only he deserves to be on top, and he deserves authority over all of your lives. Do the right thing, we all have a civil duty to understand our candidates to the very best of our ability. When a man has been convicted of dozens of felonies, and we tell you that this is only what we were willing to expose. You may want start believing us. The genuine facts of his past are unilaterally corrupting to our children and good people alike. Do not let the american people repeat their mistakes, force Mr. Trump to atone for his mistakes. No not empower him to sweep them under the rug for the sake of his own arrogance, because that is exactly what he is doing by trying to dismantle the CIA and FBI. These two institutions are shining examples of America's pursuit of freedom and justice. Freedom to keep billionaires from corrupting the morals of our children. Freedom to know that the rule of law is immutable, our constitution is not just a paper with fancy traditional sentiment. Even if the law may sometimes be bent for the sake of decency, forgiveness, and the pursuit of 'united we stand', our constitution cannot. Amendments require the FULL support of nearly all Americans, not 27.5% of unrestricted adults.

Canada be grateful Americans buy Canada goods. Americans spend more money then Canadians. Let's be fair. 40 million canadians and 340 million Americans....hmmmm

Very proud of our Prime Minister!!! The Trump administration is currently destroying America. Canadians and Americans have been working hand in hand for more than a century and it's so sad to see that a bunch of billionnaires are using lies and manipulation to get their way. I'm also very surprised to see that the Republican politicians are reacting like puppets. Let's hope that truth and common sense will soon prevail in the United States.

What a strong, fact based response. Never been more proud of Trudeau. Trump has chosen to start a trade war that is going to hurt Americans the most. Let's join hands to support local businesses by buying local when possible, even when it hurts the pocket. Standing strong with Canada ?? . We will come out strong ???
|
| 2025-03-04 | 0 |
Let me be clear. Stop giving Canada money. And if you're a American and you support being trillions of dollars in deficit for a country that we literally pay money to in order to keep their economy healthy then you need to move out of my country.

Hey …can you address the port tax on boats transporting goods. 1.5 million $ when a boat delivers goods through US ports if the boat carrying the goods was built in China. What about américain transport companies using china built boats ? Hope my country cuts your electricity. Than maybe Americans will wake up to the global mess they let this clown show create.

Can the governor of our 51 state please be our POTUS? That dude can speak at least 2 languages and our “leader” can’t even speak English. Trudeau cares more about Americans than Cheeto Mussolini does. We’ve got an overweight pile of $hit who wants to let the Russians control the world instead of the ??. All I can say to the world is, sorry! I tried. I didn’t vote for the grifter in chief.

Impeachment for the whole office and the senators that let this happen. How can you impeach a president who had an affair with another woman, but you let a 4 years ruin the United States of America. The senators should be ashamed for turning their backs on the American people and our allies. IMPEACHMENT!!!

Unfortunately, the way it comes across outside the US, especially in Europe, Americans are so much antagonised internally that they look to have permanently lost the ability and desire to help themselves not generate hatred for each other, let alone being able to help someone else. Sadly!

Oh man, 2 months in the seat and he has already become enemies with Canada, Ukraine, Europe, China, Mexico, Greenland and...and allied with Russia. ? - Wait until 4 years has passed. The world will have turned upside down and inside out before this orange checks out. Let's see how happy the Americans will be after a time choosing this maniac. Huge misstake. Huge.

Tariffs seems to be everything to do with fentanyl and other drugs that is costing American and Canadian lives. Lets stay positive and totally eliminate trafficking this drug that is taking lives of many people.

Americans are tired of subsidizing Canada. Let’s be done.

Trudeau says tariffs against Canada products hurt American families, so on that point let me be crystal clear... \nIf tariffs are so bad for the American people, why are you doing the same thing and placing tariffs against American products, wouldn't that just hurt Canadian families?\nOh lets just look at the facts: You are lying and totally speaking out of your arse to get what you want. Boo hoo...

And Mexico's President is about to release her own retaliative measures. Let's brace ourselves Americans, we the ones that didn't vote for this convicted felon. At least the dumb MAGAets will pay the high prices too.

Donald Trump has been compromised, he has been bought and paid for by Putin the Russian empire. He has no business being in the oval office let's start the impeachment process now. Donald Trump is cashing in on the American presidency with Russia. I'm sure we'll find out down the road that he's been taking payoffs from the Russian government for a long time. I'm sure Putin's got plenty of dirt on Donnie.

As an American, let me respond with, I don't need anything Canada is exporting. Pretty sure this will hurt Canadians far more than it's gonna hurt Americans. For those of you on here that might not grasp the situation, Canada has a higher value of exports into America than America has exports into Canada by over $100 Billion. Good Luck Canada.

All of Europe is on your side, dear Canadians. The majority of Americans voted for Trump, thus abandoning a centuries-old tradition of reason and ethical standards. But the free world still exists. Let's work together. Europe is here and Europe likes you. :)

So let me get this straight...Canada can shun American products by making them more expensive but doesn't like it when the US makes Canadian products more expensive.

MAGA nuts don’t care what Trump does , long as it helps their selfish interests. Most Americans love Our neighbors . Trump and Vance are not friendly people , they are basically Adolf and Himmler reincarnation from another time. A time of great racial hate and greed. All MAGA wants is cheap energy , food , and get rid of anybody not like themselves ……Trump encourages these low brow people promising to eliminate anybody who doesn’t agree with his base of voting power. Trump, fancies himself a King and wants the world to bow down to his policies. He is one of the, we are many , let’s not let Trump copy Putin s Russia.nightmare.

Robert De Niro’s statement on Donald is perfect. \n\n “I’ve spent a lot of time studying bad men. I’ve examined their characteristics, their mannerisms, the utter banality of their cruelty. Yet there’s something different about Donald Trump. When I look at him, I don’t see a bad man. Truly. I see an evil one. Over the years, I’ve met gangsters here and there. This guy tries to be one, but he can’t quite pull it off. There’s such a thing as “honor among thieves.” Yes, even criminals usually have a sense of right and wrong. Whether they do the right thing or not is a different story — but — they have a moral code, however warped. Donald Trump does not. He’s a wannabe tough guy with no morals or ethics. No sense of right or wrong. No regard for anyone but himself — not the people he was supposed to lead and protect, not the people he does business with, not the people who follow him, blindly and loyally, not even the people who consider themselves his “friends.” He has contempt for all of them. We New Yorkers got to know him over the years that he poisoned the atmosphere and littered our city with monuments to his ego. We knew first hand that this was someone who should never be considered for leadership. We tried to warn the world in 2016. The repercussions of his turbulent presidency divided America and rattled New York City beyond imagination. Remember how we were jolted by crisis in early 2020, as a virus swept the world. We lived with Donald Trump’s bombastic behavior every day on the national stage, and we suffered as we saw our neighbors piling up in body bags. The man who was supposed to protect this country put it in peril, because of his recklessness and impulsiveness. It was like an abusive father ruling the family by fear and violent behavior. That was the consequence of New York’s warning getting ignored. Next time, we know it will be worse. Make no mistake: the twice-impeached, 4-time indicted Donald Trump is still a fool. But we can’t let our fellow Americans write him off like one. Evil thrives in the shadow of dismissive mockery, which is why we must take the danger of Donald Trump very seriously. So today we issue another warning. From this place where Abraham Lincoln spoke — right here in the beating heart of New York — to the rest of America: This is our last chance. Democracy won’t survive the return of a wannabe dictator. And it won’t overcome evil if we are divided. So what do we do about it? I know I’m preaching to the choir here. What we’re doing today is valuable, but we have to take today into tomorrow – take it outside these walls. We have to reach out to the half of our country who have ignored the hazards of Trump and, for whatever reason, support elevating him back into the White House. They’re not stupid, and we must not condemn them for making a stupid choice. Our future doesn’t just depend on us. It depends on them. Let’s reach out to Trump’s followers with respect. Let’s not talk about “democracy.” “Democracy” may be our holy grail, but to others it is just a word, a concept, and in their embrace of Trump, they’ve already turned their backs on it. Let’s talk about right and wrong. Let’s talk about humanity. Let’s talk about kindness. Security for our world. Safety for our families. Decency. Let’s welcome them back. We won’t get them all, but we can get enough to end the nightmare of Trump, and fulfill the mission of this “Stop Trump Summit.””

I have lived in Canada for almost 50 years.. The United States of America has been our closest neighbour and friend ever since I came here.. \nLong before I came here Canada and the US were partners… \nWe relied on each other, we supported each other and we profited from each other..\nLet me make it perfectly clear I consider myself Canadian and I love the Americans like they were my own brothers and sisters.. \nAlso let it be known that our government does not speak for the citizens of this country… \nWe are being forced by the government to follow the rules. And now our government wants the American people to believe that all Canadians are against them. \nThat couldn’t be any further from the truth. \nI can’t say every single Canadian has respect for the Americans, but I myself respect America and honour Canada.. \nAs a true Canadian, we stand on guard for both countries.. God bless America…

Did they MAGA? No, so let's move forward from this, America! We ALL need to agree to be American 1st. Our safety is at serious risk, but we can still get the train back on track, if Congress can ALL agree to put America before any other internal disagreement. If The SCOTUS and the Judicial System will do the same. It isn't too late, YET. It's time to right the ship and our allies will support us, if our people will stand up, against the harm that this Administration is doing to ALL of us, as a whole. It's leaking hate into every aspect of our country. We're inundated with it and it's spilling out, into the world, affecting our standing.\n\nWe need an Administration where we can have normal disagreements and figure how to resolve them....find HOPE again. I'm tired of feeling despair. America, be the leader of Democracy. Keep your word!\n?⚪?

first. lets remove all USA products from Hollister, American Eagle, Victoria Secret, oh my gosh....a lot, lets buy Roots Canadian products, Fossils, think Canada, Hate USA....

Terriffs are nothing new though. I think it's insane that America's have to consistently payout our tax dollars to other countries. The President is wanting these other countries to step up to the plate and do their part. It's okay for them to let cartels and fentanal come into our countries and kill Americans by the masses. I'm sorry I'm American born and will put America 1st. Stand 10 toes down and not be a dang traitor. Americans are so quick to change sides when shit get a little rough. But haven't spoke up and said shit for years. Now we have someone shaking things up and we tuck tail and support a whole other country. Pathetic

let me be clear to all americans as a canadian. i dont know ANYONE that isnt furious at the united states for those tarrifs. you dont actually need to pull the products off of the shelfs, pretty much every canadian will stop buying american stuff until those tarrifs are lifted. im pretty sure all american companies lost 50+% of their custommer base in canada.

I am Canadian and I am envious of Americans because you have a leader who can stand for you guys, Canada’s economy has been suffering with his leadership even before Trump was elected but he is supporting /funding war , giving out tax payers to refugees he has been bringing who don’t contribute to tax. Hear him more concerned to Americans as opposed to announcing to us Canadians what is his plan for Canada to address tariff! Let USA do their thing , improve your leadership and don’t rely on other countries plans/decisions, unfortunately we are affected but it’s your job to make strategies of how you would address that. Dont blame Trump you could have thought of plans prior implementation
|
| 2025-03-04 | 0 |
Canada, the American people don't want this and a lot of Trump supporters didn't want this either. I'm sorry that y'all too have to suffer and deal with a man that doesn't lead your country. Believe me I would swap with y'all tomorrow. \n\nIt's amazing how Canada came up with how many billions for border patrol but we can't get Congress to pass a bill. President Biden tried to get a bill through Congress within his first 100 days and they wouldn't pass it then either. We have scanners sitting at the Mexican Border that will detect Fentanyl but Congress would approve using them either. Everyone needs to find out how their Representative voted on that bill and make sure they are not in office next time. \n\nI don't know how this man got elected but I feel like Musk and Starlink helped him win. I just heard that Starlink is what was used to send the results in the swing states. Musk told someone an hour before polls closed that Trump was the winner, with his evil laugh and let's not forget Trump telling his supporters that they didn't need to vote cause he will win without them. That's fishy. \n\n\nY'all what do we do if he won't leave office? What do we do then? I know he just got in the White House but it's never too early to have a plan to get him out. They worked on Project 2025 for 4 years and now it's all falling into place. OMG! What are we going to do?
|
| 2025-03-04 | 0 |
His only mistake was not to talk to his Canadian in the same way about the external diplomatic journey. Most Canadians voted him out because most Canadians have little to no idea how it is arround the globe, missing an overall perspective in their critic to Trudeau. Let me tell you that a lot of people changed their minds looking at his reaction to external threath posed by newly elect Trump. I allways knew Trump was bad news but never did I see a country turn it's administrative logistic into a pure representation of the cult Donald made into place. I hope my fellow friendly american get loud enought to be herd from their respective administrative leaders in your political system. Be critical, this is not what the USA is sopposed to be about.

lets see which country suffers first. You put all these restrictions on American visitors . jack your prices on exports for the last 12 yrs. keep your products and your terrorist gateway. when don't need your shit and we don't want your shit. not even gonna say good luck but good riddens.

Let's call it exactly what it is: the orange clown is doing this dumb thing to please his master Putin. Fentanyl is just an excuse, he has NO intention to cooperate with allies and he doesn't give a hoot about Americans either

I'm American and yes this will affect me but I honestly hope that Canada brings this country and Maga to its knees!!! I want the pain to be so great that's is never forgotten. If there was anyway I could help Canada I would! Let them feel the consequences of their choices.
