My daughter has good references and work ethic reviews can't get job because foreign worker got the jobs . Now I can't get coffee from a person who understands English. Stop bringing them here and giving our jobs away

A few years ago I went to university of Toronto for free dental care, cost me 350. Bucks was waste of my time and money, never in my life I though that a employee of the university believed she had more rights than I, due to loss of my job 40 years I found myself in a very shita situation. The person who worked for university though she could mistreat the Canadiana and she tried. Maybe if she spoke English she would understand she's not a Canadiana but a student on visa. To much much rights given to these students who actually believe they are better than the Canadiana. Go home get your education in your own country. Big problem it's government who many don't speak English and they actually believe that they have more rights than you. University of Toronto its very old and dirty with old teachers especially the one old farts with dementia and colored hair black who don't care about the students education. Old farts.

Most of Germans are really good people and friendly nothing against them but Germany itself is not immigrant friendly racism is pretty much on the rise ,low wages , little or no opportunities, my wife handles international clients and she says German client s are the worst in behavior they sound rude and entitled. If I'm a skilled person and want to move to Germany first and foremost you need to learn most difficult language in world and master it nothings wrong there but why would I when I could just go with English and move to other English speaking countries which offers more opportunities or atleast learn french that would be even more beneficial. Germany was known for it's low cost education system and other benefits it provide for students but sadly enough jobs are not there. If you want to attract international talent first atleast create an atmosphere for them but really sorry to say these but Germany feels hostile towards immigrants. Big MNCs are seeing all these and saying why are we here if we cannot hire international talent and slowly they are walking out of there and moving on to other countries ? and now you got serious issue here and people have only themselves to blame ?. Go taken out anti immigrant marches and go with conservative approach nothing new for Germany in the end German economy always ends up in toilet.

I live in the Swanton sector in Upstate NY, 5 miles south of the Canadian border. Our small town sees dozens of border crossers a day, many just wandering down our Main Street waiting to catch a ride to NYC. Several months ago, I approached a group of a dozen military age males, loitering around the gas station at the main crossroad in town. One male was on a cell phone trying to communicate with someone on the other end who was speaking very good English, meaning no perceivable accent. The cell phone male was unable to communicate with the person on the other end of the call (female voice). As I listened to the other members of the group talking, I heard several words and or phrases that sounded familiar to me (possibly Arabic). I was language trained in the military for Arabic. When I spoke to the men, their eyes lit up with recognition. They were all Muslims from Bangladesh. After several moments of chatting, I was able to discover where they were from, that they flew into Canada, were given a contact # to call after crossing and for them to make their way to NYC. My data is anecdotal but a majority of the migrants we’re are seeing here in Upstate NY are from Central Asia (India, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh). Winter is quickly approaching here, and many who risk the Swanton sector route will not make it due to the extreme cold. Many of my friends who live outside of town, many farmers, are deeply concerned or frightened for the safety of their families. Many have had migrants approach their houses and attempt to gain access. Truly scary stuff. And it seems to only be getting worse.

As someone whose family has lived in Canada for five generations, I now hate living in Canada so much. Our national identity has been taken from us. I feel like an outsider or a foreigner everywhere I go. I can get on a bus and not even 1 person will be speaking English. I feel like I am living in a foreign country.

My experiance with German culture is kind of simillier. All though I am not from Germany but from Austria.\nThe simillierities are kinda parallel. \n- The housing market is getting worse everyday.\n- Compared to the other countries the job market is not that matured. Specially in tech. The salaries are capped and you can reach the ceiling super quickly.\n- All though I don't have any friends here, my overall experience with people weren't that bad, specially considering I don't speak German.\n- Occational racism? sure. But there were good people as well. And I think there are bad people everywhere.\n\nAll though I was mentally at a bad place after a year living in here, what helped me better my mental health was realizing that my worth does not comes from other people, and not everyone needs to me my friend. \n\nTips if you're a newcomer.\n- Realize that people are not cold because you look different, but sometimes its the culture, so do not take it personally.\n- Be polite to other people and don't be apologetic if you can not speak german while taking services, often time speaking in easy english without thinking of grammers helped me making people feel easy to communicate with me.\n- Meeting people would be hard, so rather than trying to make friends everywhere try to join an activity that you actually enjoy, often time you will meet likeminded people that you can build true friendship with.\n- And be respectful to their culture.

I personally used to love indians. Especially punjabis. The ones who immigrated here in the 80s and 90s were quiet, dignified and productive.\n\nThey were family oriented and blended into canadian society seamlessly.\n\n\nThis is what indians need to do in order to regain respect again.\n\n1. I am West Indian, descendent of India indentured workers. I love my country of birth, Canada where I have lived since 3, and I have much love and pride in my Indian roots. That being said, I have come to feel embarrassed of being taken for East Indian by other Canadian people. I moved to small city outside of Toronto in 2004. I loved it here! People were so welcoming, kind, friendly. I felt no prejudicial treatment from any of my neighbours. \nFast forward, my little city is now overrun with new Indian immigrants. I can’t tell if I am in the heart of Toronto or Brampton or my city of Oshawa. \nThe Indian people I encounter in the grocery store are pushy, have no Canadian manners, speak their language loudly, come to the stores with their entire family which fills up the isles and cause long lines. All the sale items are sold out by the time you get there because Indians are filling their cart with as much as they can purchase of any of the on sale merchandise. This never happened before. \nI am also saddened by being assaulted when an Indian person passes by and wave of body order sickens me. I don’t understand what the cause of that is. Not bathing regularly or not using deodorant. But I notice this everywhere I come in contact with Indians, men and women, young and old. \nI feel like I will be mistaken for East Indian myself which I have been when I went to the hospital. I was treated like I couldn’t speak English lol\nThe worst is the Muslims, they are the rudest the way they fill every available free space, make women feel uncomfortable and are just intrusive and unable to incorporate themselves with other Canadians. Here's the cleverly worded Title that means the opposite of what's happening. It combines legal and illegal immigration; combines people who want to BE CANADIAN with those who what to USE CANADA. Divide those groups out and most Canadians don't mind people moving to Canada who speak English (or French) or are wanting to learn, who want to get jobs and BE CANADIANS vs those coming in with NO interest in blending into the culture of Canada, who can't speak English (or French) and have no desire to learn. Phrasing the question is a classic leftist tactic. If you claim you're against it you're racist or a bigot. It's fine for someone to be proud of being from Asia, South America, Middle East, or Africa, but be proud and white of European descent makes you a terrible person? Gee double standards anyone?

I went to college in brampton from 2019-2021. 2 white people 3 black people and 1 asian person in my classes (the group had the same classes). A couple nice punjabi guys explained that the others don’t like any other race. They all still asked me for help though, & after helping numerous guys who barely speak english they would leave and go back to talking in punjabi and never look at me again. really sad way to treat people who helped you

racism is just so deeply ingrained in the german mind that at every little interaction with germans, no matter how liberal they are, you are reminded that you are an outsider and will be treated accordingly. Rule of the game is work, pay taxes, and don't ever dare to mix any non-german element to their culture. Anywhere on earth if some foreign person tries to speak the local language, the locals feel pleased if not honored, but here, no, germans don't want you to blemish their beautiful language by trying to speak it and they switch to english when they speak with you, as if the world should thank them because they know english.

Do agree with your perspective. There are bad people in every group. But we can't ignore the fact that the Punjabi filth is the main issue here. In their case it would be better to say there are only a few good ones. I have personally seen a large number of them who can't even speak basic english and have a CLB 9 on IELTS. I don't even wanna start on all the things that we see daily on social media. Again I'm not saying that everybody else is perfect. Just the fact that Punjabis are the main issue here.

I am a designer and artist who moved to Saxony to reunify with family. I can say, being here for 3 years, it is VERY difficult to find a job in your profession when you do not speak the language. I am not a blue card holder, but my partner is. Despite our financial situation not being a dire one, I still look forward to integrating well in the job market and contributing my expertise + passion in the local society. \n\nI spent around 1.5 year reaching B1 level German (+including the waiting time for german tests, orientation course test and test scores etc.) Even with this B1 knowledge, you cannot communicate in a professional setting, more is needed. I also spent another half year time contacting our local Agency for Work, and experienced discrimination from their consultation service, a long waiting time and no assistance at the end. \n\nIt has been quite a discouraging journey, especially for someone who has high motivation to work and contribute. My current options are looking for jobs in Berlin, English speaker environments like Burger King etc. In my personal case, it has largely affected my confidence and enthusiasm for living in this country.

This should not be legal. That's messed up. They're taking those jobs from people that actually need those jobs. It's not easy for people in South Asian middle class families to get these jobs as their English is not fluent so these jobs go to privileged and educated families. They're getting the airline blacklisted by doing this, reducing jobs for the poor in their home country. This is selfish. As someone from a 3rd world country, this is dangerous. I've heard so many cases of people ending up as slaves because some idiot conned them into doing this. Canada also needs to look into corrupted politicians getting PR cause they bought land there through money laundering schemes in the home country. As a Canadian, we want to leave! This isn’t the same country our parents and grandparents grew up in. Skilled labor from india? Have you seen what the building standards are there. They will have to be taught every thing once they show up including english most of the time. For skilled labor we should be looking toward europe and south america. They share Christian values , simular cultures to our own, and the concepts of common courtesy, manners, and personal space. Why would i want an indian labourer when i can get a ukranian or Argentinian.

The real problem is that Indians don't assimilate very well. In Fiji Indians were first brought in 1879. After more than a century they finally took over the government. This has led to 4 coup de tat. I personally wonder if Pierre Trudeau implemented a plan of social engineering in order to destabilize English speaking Canada. A very real problem is legislation that has favoured minority groups. The 1984 Multiculturalism Act has stifled debate on the subject and the Employment Equities Act of 1986 has allowed minority hiring quotas to discriminate against the majority. Just remember that it was Canadians that voted for this.

The English were supposed to have it all figured out, and the freest, most prosperous countries in the world were going to be Britain, the U.S., Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Now, for the average person, those countries are neither prosperous nor free. Even Russia is starting to look better.

How about to require new immigrants coming in to satisfy some minimal obligations: they must be literate in English or/and French. They cannot come with a criminal record on the books. They cannot have chronic illnesses requiring lengthy or prolonged hospitalization, at the expense of the country. They must have some sort of vocational background: they must be skilled in a job or a vocation, specifically in cyber technology, financial arena, teaching, industrial experience above the level of manual or piece labor. And they must have some kind of financial backing of their own; money in the bank, relatives already in Canada with whom they might live and share expenses. Canada can rightfully close its doors to any immigrant with a prison record-esp. in violent crimes or theft; to any person coming to its doors with only the shirt on their backs and a large family, and to those who are illiterate in either French or English (or both). Nor should Canada feel itself bound and obligated to admit to its territory, as new citizens, anyone coming from an Asian community bringing with them a culture alien to the religion of its own citizenry.

The goverment of Canada should control immigrant. Brampton have lots of Indian and the problem is this when I got my Canadiane citizenship people who took their oath were wearing their national costume. I’m one of those new immigrants, originally from China. I’d like to share my point of view on this subject. For immigrants, sometimes the number one reason to move to another country is the harshness of their home country. In my case, China is not a pleasant place to live - everywhere is overcrowded, housing is insanely expensive, and job opportunities are mostly concentrated on big cities. So, if a young person like myself stayed in China, my only option to make a living is to join the rat race with another million people, work 60 hours a week, all for a 2-bedroom apartment. The minimum wage in China is the equivalent of $4 Canada dollars per hour. I don’t earn the minimum wage, but this should tell you how underpaid workers are over there. I’m ok with working hard and I have worked hard my entire life, got two degrees before 25 while studying as a non-English speaker, but I can’t bear the thought of not being fairly compensated for my work. In a freer and more transparent society, at least worker’s rights are protected. I could have chosen other countries to migrate to, but Canada seemed to have the fastest processing time and highest chance of accepting at the time, so I took the opportunity. I’m sorry for the Canadians who got caught up in a poorly managed immigration system. All I am saying is, if you are in my shoes, you would rather take this chance to move here - this could be the one of a lifetime window of opportunity.

well I have to say that this video is yet another white man complaining how the country is when they sat and watched it happen over the past 20 years. BOO Hoo you're the minority now sucks don't it. Not being able to get hired white people homeless living in the streets and entire areas are being taken over by immigrants. WHAT TO HELL HAVE WHITE PEOPLE BEEN DOING FOR 20 YEARS!! We have the same problem. I actually like the people, but….somehow, immigrants have managed to have been able to acquire the vast majority of retail jobs in our area. How is that possible? There are businesses and fast food chains with not one white person working as an employee. I spoke to a former worker that was at one of these businesses for years and asker her WTF happened? She told me that the company hired a new manager from India, within 6 months, half the staff were Indian, local students were not being hired for part time jobs, only Indians, by the end of the year, every single employee was Indian. \nShe along with other quit their jobs because….not because they’re racist, but because not only were they being treated differently than the now majority brown workers, but they were being made to feel excluded because…the manager and the new staff all spoke a different language, they would all work together in a group not speaking English at all, saying things and laughing making it pretty obvious that they were making fun of the white employees. The “manager” would ignore the white staff’s complaints and he would then seemingly punish them by giving them less hours, change their duties and give “the good shifts” to the new brown people to the point where the white people were made to feel alienated as well as cutting back their hours leaving them with not enough hours to make a living. “This is Canada Mother Fecker” these people need to speak our language when they’re in public or at the workplace with “Canadians” or…employers should fire them. I will note, that the A&W that this happened at, has changed not only by every single employee being brown, but the service is not near as friendly, they all speak to each other in a different language behind the counter.. the seating area is not even close to being clean, the tables usually are left with trays and garbage that aren’t being cleaned as customer leave. It so bad sometimes that I literally have to pick a dirty table and remove the garbage myself because every available table has not been cleaned….and the bathrooms …. I don’t even want to talk about it they’re so disgusting. And when you complain….they turn to other employees and speak a different language… so we have no idea about WTF they are actually doing or saying about the issue. “ Thank you Sir, we will take care of that.” And the next day…it was the same. I’ve stopped going there along with everyone that I know…our work crew along with our families can no longer support such a dirty, rude and disrespectful business.

They are invading everywhere. Living 25 to a basement. They have large numbers and gang up on any other person or race that opposes them. They steal, commit fraud and bribes daily, drain our food banks dry and never donate a penny. They are destroying our health care system. Just recently 5 men from Brampton were arrested when an Indian dealer and his friends decided to try to scam the Great Canadian Casino Resort and got caught. They will do ANYTHING to get ahead and that means stepping on their own kind. They keep entering through School Mills and LMIA fraud and it won't get shut down, The government doesn't care and loves the money coming in. We need a leader that puts Canadians first but the future looks like a third world. English and French will soon be second and third languages.

It is about shared values... ar the very least attempt to understand what democratic values are. Cultures and Nations that are 'traditionally' authoritarian have no clue what being a democratic citizen looks like. I met someone from New Guinea who had no associates in this country because they NEITHER SPOKE ENGLISH OR FRENCH!!! This is deplorable for this person now alienated in a new home kand because they should have never been given migration approval because if language barrier - than in these settings people love from their country of origin being exploited to here being exploited by their community because they have no way to access anything outside their community?!!!! Not only are they entering illegally, many that are in the U.S. illegally or legal are just looking at there phones and not even attempting to assimilate and learn English. I have noticed that almost every foreign speaking person is just looking at their phones and listening to media in their own language. If I was seeing some watching English media or at least trying to learn the language it would at least be a step in the right direction, but they ignore everything in English! Social media has a stranglehold on American culture!! There are several Spanish speaking groups being brought in to work in retail and grocery stores and it's just the same thing, they don't know hardly a word of English. If they come here even legally, they should be learning English, we shouldn't have to learn Spanish in our own country or whatever language they are speaking!!!!!Speak English or go back to your own countries, your culture is not our culture! Learn our laws, our history and our ways or stay out of our country!!!

There’s nothing worse than pulling up at the drive-thru and the person on the other end doesn’t speak English. This is so common where I live. Fast food restaurants are literally staffed with foreign students because we have a top college in our city. Meanwhile the homeless are sleeping under the bridge. Mmmk

Let's learn from the US...skills and talent...sure... But every single person i talk to at every single store and fast food chain isnt skilled labor and im not one to say this but especially the Ukrainian immigrants very literally don't speak any English which should be required in order to hold a job here. I feel for them and i understand it takes time to learn a language... But i cant ask anyone where something is in a store for example
