I have a feeling that there’s going to be a civil war, thousands of workers laid off, inflation, veterans and federal workers jobs are gone, the very people who voted for trump were fired by him, farmers are abandoned now, and many people stand with gaza, and also zelensky , even the cartels are putting a target on the president , along with axed c.i.a. ,f.b.i. workers,so in other words… pressure is building and i guarantee its going to be a reverse january 6th, and don’t think that russia , iran, china and north korea is waiting for the opportunity to do us in, because we may be the most powerful country, but.. at one point, egypt, and rome were also.

Trump actions on Tarrifs, gutting of very important agencies, and sacking of thousands of federal government employees, point to a very grim possibility, that Trump is bent on tanking America's economy and alienating allies, for reasons best known to Trump, the highest levels of America's leadership and intelligence agencies (PROBABLY), and, POSSIBLY America's enemies.

Paula Newton, how dare you use the phrase anti-americanism! This is one of the most emotionally contained and dignified responses do the bullying president of the United States that I've heard so far. Trudeau has every right to be as pointed as he wants. I hate what Trump is doing and I live here! Trump doesn't speak for me. I have friends in Canada. Canadians are absolutely welcomed to help us do something to rein in the power of the dictator in training, Trump.
|

Basically Trump wants to bully the world and run over the country you were elected president. This alignment has\n no point to the process except to take the prosperity from our gates.\nTrump must be taken out of office people

From the Netherlands I stand with Canada and Ukraine. And not the lying authoritarian Trump regime!\n\nI remember Trump saying America is no longer the laughing stock of the world... True now we can really only shake our heads at this point. It's gone beyond laughing stock. It's just sad now.

Well, Trump threatened Canada, what a piece of shit president, I must say... At this point, Canada should join EU, and sell all their gas and oil to Europe, at a fair price, not ultra cheap how they are currently selling to the USA. Usa is making a tons of money profit from exploiting Canada...

trumps plans with putin obviously meet his imperial ambitions more than his democratic allies. trump aided russia by holding back the vote on Ukrainian military aid for months on end costing countless innocent lives and attempting to suck dry Ukraines most powerful weapon their morale!\nNow he is in power just as 3 years of sanctions on russia finally are showing results he turns off Ukraines military aid while repeating kremlin talking points.\nThe US who removed Ukraines nuclear deterrent with the Budapest Memorandum promising to protect its borders which they failed to honour even have trump blaming Ukraine for starting the war.
|

Nice and polite, but I think that's not the point concerning Putin, sorry Trump's point of vieuw. They want Canada beeing the next state to be added to the US.

It is a surreal moment when USA has entered into a war with our best friend and ally neighbor Canada, and we don't even know why. Nobody voted for this, did MAGA vote for this? Why on earth we are allowing Trump to do it, why Congress is allowing it, why aren't we on the streets protesting, do we want to wait until it gets worse, or beyond the point of return? Trump is a madman, petty, vindictive, selfish, ignorant and totally brainwashed by Putin and his agenda to divide us. Trump is the Manchurjan candidate, planted to destroy us from within. US at war with Canada, even if is a trade war, is scandalously unprecedented and is treasonous.
|

Most Americans now hate Trump as much as Canadians do at this point. We are with your tariffs keep them in place for four years regardless as to what Trump does!

Trump is DUMB, period. Trudeaus speech is excellent, no prompter and speech flows freely. Concise and to the point.
|

if trump could read, he'd know elections dont go forward during war. if he didnt flap his gums for 4 more months, canada wouldve had its election, and voted in conservatives. at this point i doubt we'll have an election. and if we do, most ppl who were going to vote conservative for their first time, now arent going to. trump really does have a room temperature IQ (celcius tf is fehrenheit)

Clone Trudeau and make him our president too. He's a smart, reasonable man who has his moral compass pointed in the right direction. Donald Trump, not even close. How he got elected is the mystery that will no one will ever solve. But he is going to destroy the United States if we don't get him out of office.

AS an AMerican and single mom self employed 57 year old woman in AMerica I don't want this either and didn't support Trump or his agenda. I am trapped here and suffering like so many and preparing for complete financial collapse at this point. So sorry Canada. We didnt want this either

Trump is fucking up everything he touches! Affecting our lives at every point! REMOVE HIM from office for sabotaging our country AND our lives!! I stand with you Canada, Mexico, Ukraine, and the European Union.

I disagree with PM Trudeau on only one point. Trump is NOT a smart man. There is only one way to understand Trump's recent actions. Trump is a Russian asset. Full Stop.

Trumps own words, “Vote for me, you will never have to vote again!”
\nThis one is showing up on several pages. Make up your own mind.
\nThere is something rancid in America, a slow, creeping rot that smells like cold McDonald’s fries, aerosol hairspray, and the unmistakable musk of a country too sedated to recognize its own hostage situation. For years, the idea that Donald Trump was compromised by Russia was dismissed as paranoid fantasy—just another wild-eyed conspiracy theory, another overblown headline in the endless saga of American political dysfunction.
\nBut now, two former Soviet intelligence officers—Alnur Mussayev and Yuri Shvets—are saying it outright: Trump was recruited by the KGB in 1987, groomed as an asset, and remains under Russian control to this day.
\nAnd the worst part? He’s already back in the White House.
\nThat’s right, America. You did it. You walked face-first into the banana peel of history, slipped, and fell straight into the arms of Vladimir Putin. Trump was kicked out in 2020, spent four years plotting his comeback, and now he’s returned, like a bloated, orange cockroach that just won’t die. The Kremlin’s favorite stooge is running the country again, and this time, he knows exactly how to stay in power.
\nIf you think this is just another round of the Trump Show, you’re not paying attention. This isn’t politics anymore. This is treason. This is foreign subversion. This is a God forsaken coup in slow motion.
\nLet’s break it down, nice and simple.
\nAlnur Mussayev isn’t some Twitter conspiracy theorist with a tinfoil hat and a podcast. He’s the former head of Kazakhstan’s National Security Committee, which means he knows exactly how Russian intelligence works—because he was part of the system. And what he’s saying should make every American’s blood run cold.
\nAccording to Mussayev, Trump was identified, recruited, and compromised by the KGB in 1987 during his first trip to Moscow. They saw him for what he was: a narcissistic, greedy, attention-starved buffoon who could be easily manipulated. The KGB flattered him, promised him business deals, and planted the seeds of political ambition in his empty little head. And from that moment on, he was their man.
\nBut Mussayev isn’t alone. Former KGB major Yuri Shvets said the exact same thing in 2021: Trump was cultivated by Soviet intelligence because he was an easy mark—too stupid to realize he was being played, too egotistical to care. They saw him as a useful idiot—a man who could one day be nudged into power, a walking, talking Trojan Horse for Russian interests.
\nAnd now? The plan has worked. Trump spent four years in office weakening America from within, got booted out, and now he’s back for round two.
\nIf you had told the American public in 1962 that a Soviet-backed asset would one day sit in the White House, they would have burned Washington to the ground before letting it happen. But today? Nobody seems to care.
\nThe media treats this like just another wacky subplot in the never-ending Trump reality show. Congress is too busy fighting over meaningless culture war nonsense to do anything about it. And the American public? Exhausted. Numb. Checked out. Years of scandals—Russia collusion, Ukraine blackmail, classified documents, tax fraud, sexual assault, an attempted coup—have fried the country’s brain like an overcooked steak at Mar-a-Lago.
\nTrump has done the impossible. He has committed so many crimes, so openly, so brazenly, that none of them matter anymore.
\nAnd now, with Mussayev’s revelation that Trump is an active foreign asset, we have finally reached the point where the biggest political scandal in American history is met with a collective shrug.
\nThis is how democracy dies—not with a bang, but with a goddamn eye-roll.
\nThis is the part where the skeptics start clutching their pearls. “Oh, come on,” they say. “If Trump were really a Russian asset, wouldn’t there be more proof?”
\nTo which I say: Are you blind, or just willfully stupid?
\nLet’s go through the evidence, shall we?
\nTrump spent his entire first term doing exactly what Russia wanted. He attacked NATO, calling it “obsolete” and threatening to pull the U.S. out. He tried to blackmail Ukraine into manufacturing dirt on Joe Biden, because weakening Ukraine helps one man and one man only: Vladimir Putin. He pulled U.S. troops out of Syria, handing power over to Russian forces. He picked fights with Canada and Europe while cozying up to dictators.
\nEven now, in his second term, he is more openly pro-Putin than ever. He has made it clear that he will not protect NATO allies from Russian aggression. He is actively dismantling America’s alliances, just as Russia planned. And while Americans scream at each other over whether Target should sell rainbow t-shirts, Trump is quietly selling the country to the Kremlin.
\nAt some point, you have to stop calling it a coincidence and start calling it what it is: treason.
\nThe United States is running out of time. If Trump serves out this term without being removed, America as a functioning democracy is finished.
\nThe media needs to wake up. Enough with the “Trump fatigue” excuse. This is not just another scandal—this is the single greatest infiltration of American power in history. Journalists need to dig into Mussayev’s claims, demand declassification of intelligence files, and treat this like the national emergency that it is.
\nCongress needs to subpoena Mussayev immediately. His testimony must be public, and every document he has should be reviewed. If there is proof that Trump has been compromised since the 1980s, the American people need to know.
\nThe Justice Department needs to stop pretending that Trump is just another politician. If there is evidence that the sitting president of the United States is working in Russia’s interests, he must be removed from office and prosecuted for espionage.
\nAnd the American public? You have one last chance. This is not about Republican vs. Democrat. This is not about taxes, gas prices, or whatever nonsense outrage is dominating the news today. This is about whether the United States remains a sovereign nation, or if we spend the rest of the century as a Russian client state with a golf course.
\nThe sheer volume of Trump's corruption, the blatant nature of his crimes, the mountain of evidence that should have ended his political career a hundred times over—none of it mattered. He survived it all, not because he was innocent, but because he drowned the country in so much scandal that nothing stuck.
\nBut this time, it’s different. If Mussayev and Shvets are right, this isn’t just another chapter in the endless Trump circus. This is the culmination of a decades-long Russian intelligence operation to install an asset in the White House.
\nThere is no coming back from this. If America lets Trump serve out this term without removing him, then the United States as a democratic republic is finished. The country won’t collapse overnight. There won’t be tanks in the streets. Instead, the destruction of democracy will happen in slow motion—buried under lawsuits, propaganda, and corruption so blatant that people stop caring.
\nIf America lets this happen—if Trump is allowed to complete his mission—then Putin wins. The West crumbles. And the people who could have stopped it will look back, years from now, and wonder how they let it happen.
\nGood night, and good luck. Because if people don’t wake up, America is going to sleepwalk straight into its own funeral.

At this point Trudeau is better then trump.

#1. Trump postponed so that Canada wouldn’t literally freeze them out by cutting off energy. Now that winter is ending it’s game on\n#2. If Trump wanted to start a war with Canada he needs congress. The only way to get them on his side is Canada to poke the US in the eye.\n#3. Quit talking about Fentanyl without pointing every finger at China. \n#4. If you like how Trudeau is acting now, after 9 years. That’s just a politician who knows they won’t be re-elected. He still has to protect his party though. Too little too late

Wow, Trump is good. Shook Canada to listen and work now. I am sure he has their attention, and an a few weeks, he will fix these tariffs. The point here is he is not playing any games with the world and he is putting America first best to work with then against America.
|

What was the point of this speech? Was it a threat? No. Was it a plea? Yes. Was he criticizing Trump? Not really. Was he praising Trump? Yes! How can anyone approve this speech??
|
| 2025-03-04 | 0 |
The tariffs are on all countries importing into the U.S. \nYou either build in the U.S. or have higher tariffs, it’s a strategy to build more business and jobs in the U.S. \nFixing the U.S. economy that is $36 TRILLION in Debt, while cutting off foolish spending in USAID. Do you have a problem with that?\n\nThe decision to befriend Russia is not cause Trump is pro-Putin, but to end a war Zelenskyy wants to continue for years, an utterly unnecessary war where thousands are dying for no reason, and billions spent on war when you can spend it on building up the economy (we already gave Zelensky 300 BILLION of our taxpayer money and Ukraine isn’t winning). The goal is to end unnecessary dying and to prevent WW3 nukes flying. Only complete fools think playing games with NUKES is a good idea, pointing a finger at you NATO!\n\nWhen NUKES fly, we are literally f…..ed!!!!

Mr, Trudeau prime minister, I am glad that you are standing up to trump do what is right for your country do not allow this, man child trump push you around, stand up take a stand do what is right what is just, your people who voted for you deserve it, show the world ?? that integrity, honestly and the rule of law still matters, let the world see trump for what he is, and I say to the other leaders do not be afraid to do the right thing, a good leader loves his people a good leader protects it's people , silence ? at this point in time is not acceptable, when you see tyranny speak up i asked my father ounce what makes a man, i could see in his face that he was thinking about this question very hard and he turned and looked at me and said, a man will stand up for what he believes in,no matter the price, and a real man will always protect those that can't protect themselves, for this is the mark of a real man and gentleman, i have never forgotten those words that he spoke to me, and I believe that this saying also has religious implication as well, after everything is said and done it's not the voters that are going to judge you in the end it's god and he is going to judge you on his standards not MAGA

I also want to point out that there hasn't been many anti chinese rhetorics from Trump lately. Just to point out that Trump no longer cares about dictators and now has a very different agenda now.

This Trump buffoon proves to us that there is no point in giving him anything. He takes the money and gives nothing in exchange: isn't that a thief?

there is no point in speaking to donald trump as if he is an american who cares about america. he doesnt. he is bought and paid for by russia and only works for THEM not us. hes a traitor and a disgrace

Trump is violating his own USMCA Trade agreement in place today. So when he wonders which numb nut put it in place he’s talking about himself. If he’s trying to point the finger at someone who fell asleep at the wheel for the trade deficit, there are multiple factors INCLUDING HIMSELF.
|

What sort of creep would call Trump smart? Switched off at that point.
|
| 2025-03-04 | 0 |
I live in Maine on the border with Canada and im absolutely ashamed at what trump is doing. Canada is an incredible country and a great ally to the US, and this entire thing that trump is doing is reprehensible. It would be an improvement to have a leader like Trudeau who can actually get a point across.
|
| 2025-03-04 | 0 |
I remember when we had a president that could speak in complete sentences without any name calling and pointing fingers at everyone else. Canada, you are doing exactly what you do when you see a bully, you stand up and fight back. As an American, I’m so embarrassed by trump’s behavior but sadly I am not surprised.
|
| 2025-03-04 | 0 |
At this point I respect Trudeau more than Trump. Trump is a blatant liar!

Justin was on point until he said Trump was smart lol

But hold on a minute, Donald Trump is pointing the finger at president Zelenskiy of Ukraine saying that he would cause World War three let everyone just take a step back and look at the mess that Donald Trump is causing in the US is behaving like a mafia boss employing and bringing in all the criminals of the millionaire world from the bottom of the barrel They want to play with Canada. They want to try and take over the Panama Canal, and take Greenland doesn’t this not sound like something that Putin is carrying out right now how do you rain in in this modern day? a president, of the free world who is psychotic deranged and suicidal.

Why Canada, Mexico, or any other country in the world doesn’t have the problem of drugs except United States of America. Why is that.? Think about it, we are the consumer and want to Party Up like there is no tomorrow. So Donald trump get your S.H.I.# in gear and clean up your mess first before you point fingers.
|
| 2025-03-04 | 1 |
The only thing that was wrong with this speech was referring to Trump as “very smart guy”.. This is what a true leader sounds like! Intelligent, speaking facts and to the point!??????????
|
| 2025-03-04 | 0 |
How about Trump dismantling something worth doing : Scientology, there he'll score some points
|
| 2025-03-04 | 0 |
Trump wants the World to collapse so his billionaires and america can buy up the stock market and dominate the World. It’s not trade blocks, it’s Dictator blocks. If that doesn’t work he’ll invade Canada and Mexico most likely and just take it. At this point, I hope America implodes. Either way it’s a mass suicide. Trump isn’t a smart man, he’s an evil man. And people who persist in making excuses for this creature are just traitors, the lowest of the low, stupid, greedy war mongers.
|
| 2025-03-04 | 0 |
Why does he feel the need to stroke Trump's ego, calling him a smart man, while condemning his actions. He articulates all the harm and difficulties Trump's actions, and these tariffs will cause, but refuses to point to the source of this stupidity directly, and call him out for it.
|
| 2025-03-04 | 0 |
we are calling it stupid, because it is bad for the economie. But perhaps that is the point. If you know in advance when the ecconomie will go down or up you can make a lot of money. So that gives Trump and his court of oligarchs a considerable amount of income.
|
| 2025-03-04 | 0 |
A very good speech! Made very good points. How Americans can support tRump escapes me.
|
| 2025-03-04 | 0 |
If Trump could blame the mating call of wild turkeys for his destruction he would lie about it enough times to eventually brainwash people into believing this ....that is Trump's playbook and has been forever, he demeans, boasts, cons, lies, swindles, shakesdown, confuses, cheats, entrappes, blackmails, seeks revenge gambles, blames others, points his finger, humiliates, denigrates, punishes, demoralizes,.... a real scumbag
|
| 2025-03-04 | 0 |
It makes perfect sense what are any of you talking about you're missing the whole point we are all allied with Russia what Trump has wanted from day one get with the times. This is not the same country it was a month and a half ago
|
| 2025-03-04 | 0 |
If you can't see that Trump is a Russian asset at this point, you're a complete and utter moron. He's LITERALLY going after Canada, NATO, Mexico, and Ukraine....each of which is making Putin more powerful.
|
| 2025-03-04 | 0 |
All pointed that Trump himself wants to destroy USA ( i have the feeling that was a promise made to Putin) with all of us in there.
|
| 2025-03-04 | 0 |
tRump gave the Prime Minister the best gift ever, a war that Canada didn't start but rallies the whole country together against an antagonistic bully. Trudeau will get a 20 point bump in his approval ratings and go out a winner.
|
| 2025-03-04 | 0 |
At what point does someone hold trump accountable for treason? He is directly working against US interests and aligning with Russia who has goals to damage America? Where are the grown-ups?
|
| 2025-03-04 | 0 |
From the USA: Why is it right for Canada to tariff us more than we tariff them? Trump pointed out that there was a 200 billion a year tariff deficit for the USA. Some say that number is inflated and the real number is somewhere around the 70 billion mark in Canada's favor. No one disagrees that the US has a huge tariff deficit with Canada. So, the USA is just leveling the playing field. It's time to truly have level trade with the rest of the world, not just Canada. No more free lunch from the US to the world. We want free and fair trade, but for that to happen we must tariff other countries goods at exactly the same level they tariff our goods.
|
| 2025-03-04 | 0 |
This is exactly what Trump wants to destroy America!!!! to bring on techtocracy or maybe just to make his allies in Russia happy.. It's either that or he is the dumbest president in American history... I've never understood why anybody thought that he gave a damn about anybody but himself or was capable of doing anything that would benefit the American people. But here we are.. there was voter suppression at the very least. It's hard to know what to believe about all that. But I do know many people regardless voted for him. 30% did not vote. Which I do understand. As there is a genocide happening.. but at this point, I have to believe that even amongst the majority of his supporters he is not supported by the majority, major majority of the United States. The republican Congress has shown their true colors of being anti-constitutional . But they are redeemable. Do the right thing if you are in government if you have any power at all, stand up. And for the rest of us, Americans including the ones that voted for Trump let your voices be heard. Before we become something similar to Russia. And I go to prison for this comment.
