Otherwise it is foolish to go Canada. Canada govt. is taking million of immigrants and due to this real estate prices have gone up like 2-3 times. Your partner and you will have to work for atleast 20-25 years to pay the home loan.

I agree with you Lyn,its hard to start life in Canada,changing visas to work permits is very expensive also &need to find a willing employer to start the process(lmia),not easy tho..my advise ,when traveling make sure you have a host on this end or atleast enough money to enable you stay in a hotel .. also people should avoid cities like Toronto which are crowded,personally am loving it here opportunities are many...

The most depresssing factor of canada is it's weather...\nIntially i was not realizing it bt it just dawned on me that how important is sunlight for your body and also for your mental health especially in winters......yahan pe sirf 3 mahine hi suraj rehta hai..june july and August .... september se leke may mid tak.rarely you will get a glimpse of sunlight...\nI mean you wake-up every morming nd its always dark and gloomy outside from September end till april end....you dpnt feel like doing anything...especially in winter's you wake up at 9 o'clock and 4 oclock its dark.....you have no idea how much it effects your mental health...people get depressed mentally and also gets deficit of vitamin d...also government have legalized Marijuana and saying oh it will make your mind feel happy and you will not get stressed anymore...i mean how come...government is killing you softly..they dont want you to think higher..they want you to leave behind....i realized most of the people suffer from knee pain..joint pain bcoz they dont get enough sunlight ....\nI read somewhere that most of the suicide case happens inthe month of January bcoz this is the month when people get more depressed....i must say comparatively to canada india is the best place to stay ....you will get sunlight whole year... also in Toronto there is no such social life as india ...so much taxes by the government...houses are getting expensive.....all you r doing is just work , come home. Well made. Wish I had this info atleast a decade ago. I’m one of the Sanjay. Immigrated to US in 2008 from India. In the green card queue for 10 years. Not sure if I get it in my lifetime. I have a foreign born daughter who I brought here when she was only few months old. She might have to self deport in a few years when she is 21. This is her home and only country she knew.\n\nThe US immigration system is cruel for people like Sanjay. But every politician knows this problem after our advocacy efforts but nobody wants to touch it. They only want our tax $$$ ..

At this point we just need to send troops to Mexico to eradicate these gangs. Thats why all these people are leaving honestly. Yall ever heard interviews of them and why theyre leaving? They don’t realize the harm they’re doing to the ones that already here illegally and are trying to do the best to get do everything right without breaking the laws , such as paying taxes. It’s selfishness from their part for what they’re doing and it’s only harming people like me. I’m was brought here to the US when I was 2 years old I am now 20. I graduated high school , don’t have any felonies or misdemeanors. I have a degree for machine technology and I can’t work because I don’t have a work permit , and these people are coming and getting all these privileges I never got. This is causing bad to those who are already here and are trying to do everything according to the law and yet we have no support in getting atleast a work permit. I agree daca was unconstitutional which is why they’re trying to shut it down but trump was trying to make something happen for teens that were brought here at a young age. Unfortunately people are blind and selfish and only care about themselves, I get it that they live in poverty because so did we. And my beautiful mother suffered so much. But atleast wait until the US can do something about those who are already in weather it’s helping them or not. There’s so much problems happening right now in the United States such as mass shootings. Let the authorities, government officials , etc try to clean up the United States from how bad it’s getting before raiding the border and causing a burden and headache to those who are in office trying to come up with solutions to this madness.

Many of the people here in the comment box trying to explain how cringy Canada is even who born and raised in Canada! I am pretty sure those people never have been to a country like Bangladesh, average part of India. Otherwise, they wouldn’t even imagine to write down such a bad words about their country. Here in south Asia, average people literally beg to their boses for their sallery unless its a high-end job. Its weird to hear I know but the reason behind is the combination of inflation and instability of work-life balance. As being raised in Bangladesh though an American I can tight the difference. Yo, outside of my hometown in Long Island, Tap water is straight trash. I live in NJ now and I put my tap water through zero filter before i drink it. NY, atleast in Long Island and the burrows have amazing tap water. Upstate NY was meh...I have to find tap water like that outside of it though.

Seriously why ??? You make your parents to spend their fortune so you can live like a beggar in a developed country. You don't wanna go there with your merits, then you deserve this embarrassing life. It all depends what condition you are living in Pakistan. I like this Ashir but he has strong grudges against pakistan and has strong biased opinion. I came to canada in 2009 with family. I can tell you that those days were a little different less racism and pretty much no islamophobia now there is even if you admit it or not. If your daughter or wife does cover her head they can be in trouble out alone. Economy in atleast alberta and other provinces too is on decline. If you want to make good money medical fields are good like pharmacy nursing related rest is bad. My wife was a doctor in Pakistan cleared all her papers but didnt get any residency as of yet.
