I can confidently say as a Canadian, what Trump has done and continues to do is driving the biggest wedge between Canada and the USA. The jokes of Canada becoming a 51st state is outrageous and i speak for many fellow Canadians when saying - WE WILL DIE AS CANADIANS before bending the knee to America. This is exactly what Russia wants and the only true winner from this will be the countries praying on Canada and the US's downfall.

As a Canadian, I support any measure Trump places on Canada. There's a lot of Canadians, who are not willing to bend the knee to the Trudeau government, even if it means some pain. We are so sick of Trudeau and his NDP coalition government. Canada is struggling to get rid of this government and to let you know how bad it is, we are about to have our first ever 'UNELECTED' prime minister. He won't last long but it does really feel like pure unadulterated Authoritarianism.

Update 3/2/25 Canada and Mexico caved to Trump's demands and are giving him what he wants, the stop the flow of illegal aliens and drugs into the US on the Mexico/US/Canada borders. Canada and Mexico now joins Columbia, Venezuela, and Panama for countries bending the knee to Trump's demands. As a Canadian myself, what I don’t understand is why the heck would you want more people in country when 1 some places in Canada don’t have clean water, 2 rent/taxes are just way to high to sustain two people for food. Even the indigenous population hasn’t even had proper help in a long time. Sucks that one moment the government was helping looking at old residential schools only to stop once media stop covering it. I don’t care that they come to our country but you at the very least gotta respect our time and culture here, rather than expecting everyone to bend a knee to their needs. Just my two cents

Hey Tyler...ask the question in reverse...see how many Americans would move to Canada....and I have a question for you, Why should I have to make a choice where I live, directly in response to gun violence and mass shootings, lousy uber expensive health care , discrimination, racism, bigotry, and hatred?...like I said in my 1st post, I lived in Cali. and Arkansas in the mid 80's, as different as environments can be...yet all of the same issues, just some more pronounced than others ( surprisingly, I saw and HEARD a lot more racism in Southern California than I did in Arkansas)....but now, in the 21st Century, the fact that politicians are actively trying (and in a lot of cases succeeding) to return the U.S. to the 1900 ( taking the vote away from minorities, especially blacks and native Americans), making women bend the knee to what men say and want them to do ( the reversal of Roe v Wade, 100% total bans on reproductive rights, and the restrictive, totalitarian, Nazi/fascist bans on the rights to choose who you want to be, how you want to be addressed, LGBTQ people and lifestyles) when I see this, hear the right-wing racist, elitist,MAGA, B.S., I wonder how ANY people in their right minds could want to live in 2023 America, the Land of the Lost !

I got the answer, how about the US government take its knee off the neck of the Venezuelans. The US foreign policy toward these countries is a huge part of the problem they have and why they are desperate to come here. I hope the US government gets put in its place soon so the desperation and bloodshed in these other countries at their hand will stop. The US says it’s for human rights well stop sanctioning these countries just because they don’t bend to the demands of the US and their corporations for exploitation.

The great danger of Muslim's in the west is that they're a 5th column. While many Muslim's in Canada are moderates, when Islam becomes a powerful force in Canada and the terrorists take over the the Islamic parties, the moderates will bend the knee and support them.
