AMERICA IS NO DIFFERENT, TRY A DIFFERENT PROVINCE INSIDE CANADA, it might be greener on the other side of the fence. Best of luck. Also consider the Gulf states in the Middle East

Sorry dear -- Canada & the US -- SUCK -- compared to what they once were ! --- We both have been blessed to have had the best both had to offer in their best days. - - - Neither country has to offer what they used to ! --- Hopefully you will find your best place. I been looking myself but for me it's almost too late. > It is very difficult to replace them with 100% better ? --- Best of luck to you.

After reading a few of these comments, the main take aways are, there are a lot of immigrants, things cost more, healthcare is a mess and inflation.\nI am sorry that things are hard, the costs of everything are up everywhere in the world so good luck in gentrifying other nations and making your problems their problems.\nIt pains me to no ends that after things get tough in Canada many are ready to jump ship for better softer areas where they will trash the place with their incomes creating inequality there as well and then blaming the mess that they will create on the indigenous people that they will abandon for better pastures.\n\nAs a Canadian of native ancestry I never had it anywhere as good as many of the people here complaining about their middle class woes.\n\nMaybe if you fought for a change, like more housing to bring down the prices and fought corporate greedflation and gouging, realizing that much of this problem, the attack on the healthcare services, much of it being done by the conservative governments, then perhaps you would not be so annoyed with Trudeau.\n\nHe is not helping the housing problem by not building the 2 million new homes that he said he would but NIMBY people are making this difficult. They want the charm of a nice middle class feel to their neighborhoods but when it comes to housing, they don't want to build affordable near them and then they complain with their rents are too expensive or the costs of things too high. \n\nI can't say I feel much pity or empathy with most of the people complaining about their lots in life because as far as I can tell, many natives would love to have your problems but the best that many of them can do is to live in their own lands, homeless, even on their own reserves because there is just not enough housing. Yet when the prices of housing was going up, many homeowners loved it, even though it meant that the poor, the actual poor and not you lot, were stacked like firewood into smaller and smaller rooms with no AC so it was hot in the summer and freezing in the winter and the slum lords are having a hey day. \nThe actual first nations people are homeless and being killed daily and are arrested for being poor daily but you lot think you have it bad. \n\nSorry, when non first nations people say that they will leave Canada because its not how they remember it when they were kids and its worse now so they will jump ship to gentrify other nations, I just shake my head and hold open the door as you leave the nation and wonder at your arrogance and egoism.

It is interesting how much I've heard this from Canadians in recent years. Growing up in America's dull, dingy, squalid Rust Belt it was always a thrill to visit cities like Toronto and Montreal. The strip of water separating Windsor (itself not exactly Paris) from Detroit might be starkest line between two countries this side of the Korean Demilitarized Zone. But I was only ever a tourist in Canada and perhaps it's true about the grass always being greener. Best of luck in your new home.

Great story Alina. I wondered why I felt close to you, likely because your Russian heritage. Am very interested in finding out where you will relocate. Sure, it will be a country with a lower tax rate and less crime. Best of luck.

Best of luck wherever you choose to go. Cost of living is a huge issue in Europe too - rents, food, property prices and so many other costs have spiralled out of control. The UK is particularly tough right now and most people experience a rude awakening when they come here - particularly London. Plus we have riots and real racial tensions now. I would not recommend anyone come to the UK unless they are wealthy.

Although things have changed since the pandemic, I still feel safe in all the major Canadian cities. I’m doing OK, but unlike a lot of people I don’t take vacations, don’t own a car - I hate driving - and haven’t needed to use the medical system for awhile. I’m optimistic about the future, and am content with most things about Canada. Well, maybe not the weather.\n\nBut I can understand moving abroad to explore other options. I’d probably set my sights on northern Europe or Iceland and a university degree there.\n\nIt’s definitely about the journey. And the best journeys are the ones that are adventures. The best of luck on yours.

Well, if it's Thailand, and I suspect it is with the new DTV visa, I am sure you will love it there. Highly recommend Sukhumvit area for your first year Condo rental. Best of luck!!

Nothing new with things changing over time and Capitalism and overpopulation is making every country change for worse. The best we can do is chase the light of dead stars and go somewhere that's not so bad YET. That's what drove me to move from Brazil to Canada and that's what's driving me to move from a big city to a smaller town. I wish you the best of luck.

All the best with everything. It’s very sad that your “home” cannot be your home at this point in time, I know how it feels. It’s so good how realistic you are about your ongoing visa application. I am a UK citizen moving to Spain, hopefully, but the process has taken way longer than I could have ever imagined! Good luck and I look forward to your future videos ?

Hi Alina ? I'm from a 3rd world country willing to relocate since few years and still trying and praying.\nI know Canada isn't the right place for everyone ? and if I want to advise anyone about Canada is that:\nIt'll very soon going to lose it's Passport ? value and this includes the USA, Australia, NZ, and some other Large Landmass countries (Smaller countries manage themselves better). \nYou should think about getting another citizenship that'll be your future Home ? \nI guess you like East Asia and Eastern Europe ?❓ But still love to see you relocating soon.\n\nI wish you the Best of Luck ? \nGod Bless You ?

So sad to see that you’re leaving. It seems that the whole world is declining in almost every aspect, and it maybe an irresistible trend, too bad! Best luck to you, Alina, and we’ll all be missing your smiles!

My research, cause a lot of us have thought the same thing, is that it is not much better around the world. Much of the same issues that are destroying Canada are global and although some countries do it marginally better it is the same most other places. Don't get me wrong I wish you luck and the best but I just don't believe the grass is much greener elsewhere.

Take Me. I have also lived and loved Canada for many years but feel like there could be a much better quality of life to be lived elsewhere. I wish you the best and look forward to your upcoming video series. I have visited 22 countries hunting for the right one but will travel to South East Asia (Philippines, Thailand) for the first time this winter before making any real decisions. Best of Luck, I hope your first choice is a winner.

I wish you the best of luck and hope you get your visa to make your next move! I am born and raised in Victoria, BC Canada as a Canadian citizen at birth. Since my mother was German when I was born, I just recently found out that I'm also a German citizen from birth through descent through my mother. I've been living here in the US since high school when I moved from Victoria to Tucson, Arizona. I eventually got my US green card (permanent residency. I then moved to Madison, Wisconsin and became a US Citizen. At this point, I am a dual US and Canadian citizen in addition to being German citizen as well. I am applying for my confirmation of German citizenship through the German consulate in Chicago which would then allow me to obtain a German passport for access to live and work freely in EU and Schengen countries. I went to The Netherlands last January and I really feel in love with the Dutch culture and lifestyle. I am planning on spending at least a few years there as soon as I get my German passport. \nMy relatives in Canada keep telling me how lucky I am to be a US Citizen as they all say how terrible the situation has become in Canada. I am surprised since I've always considered Canada to be one of the top places to live in the world. I haven't lived in Canada for a long time and I've been doing relatively good here in the USA. I enjoy the US overall but we definitely have our share of issues here as well.\nAnyhow .... I wish you the best on your next location.

l Support your new dream of living a better life , l made that same choice in 1993 . As a fellow traveller you see how other cultures deal with life. Canada started going backwards when the Conservatives enacted the GST , like we needed more taxation . Canadian government is self serving just like the USA. New immigration policies have exasperated the problems Canadians endure. Wishing you the best of luck . PS my dad's Parents came to Canada during the first world war to the Winnipeg area.

I’m not sure it’s better anywhere else. I’m Canadian living in Calgary and this is the best place to be in my opinion with everything I like and still do. \nI’m considering moving to the US for work but I’m not sure that will be permanent. A big thing for myself is healthcare. \nGood luck to you though Alina wherever it is you choose to go.

Thank you for this wonderful video, Alina. I feel the same about living in California and the overall situation in the United States. The cost of living keeps on rising while the quality of life declines more and more every single day. So many young people our age (we're about the same age) who have university degrees and have good jobs struggle to pay rent or even foresee a future where they can own a home. I wish you the best of luck in this new life you will embark on. My wife and I enjoy watching your content and look forward to see where you end up.

It's incredible how people around the world, seem to forget that most countries had shut down for two years during the pandemic, costing countries billions, the issue is the grocery chains, the ongoing confict with Ukraine and Russia, among other countries, crime has spiked, I put part of the blame on the legal system, I do hope you will stay in Canada, beats the USA, which is headed into unknown direction, Canada has very little earthquakes, volcano eruptions, typhoon, hurricanes, although Canada has had the coldest winter on the planet, we as Canadians are in most part caring countries, I also put the blame on the premiers taking money from the federal government and investing in cons, our prime minister has faults, he takes the blame for most issues in Canada, but, he better than the alternative, not sure which country you are thinking about moving to, but take in consideration of the pros and cons of your potential move, the cost of living, health care, job, vehicles, rent, wage, best of luck in your future endeavours
