I’m an American. I love our home. I love our people. I love our land. I love our principles.\n\nAnd it’s for all those reasons that I support Canada, Mexico, the European nations, and all the other sane countries around the world that are hitting back against these maniacs driving my homeland into the gutters of history.\n\nEven as a leftist, I’ve had my fair share of criticisms for Mr. Trudeau, Mr. Starmer, and Mr. Macron as well as the other leaders of the EU. But now, bygones are bygones. In Americans’ moment of need, it’s clear that three folks care more about the United States and our values than the Republicans ever will.\n\nThank you for standing on the right side of what will certainly be one of the most important moments in modern American history.

Thank you for separating the american people from the very small percentage of those in the White House administration behind these actions. Most americans are not in agreement with any of what's coming out of the president's office. He's lost sight of what American really stands for - and that his role, along, with those of his administration, are paid servants. Obligated to SERVE every citizen of their country - including representing and fulfilling the wishes of the people they serve. Whether they like all the people or agree with the needs of all the people. The people of our country don't want what's happening with Canada, Mexico or Ukraine. Or Russia for that matter. Trump has really the potential to ruin America. America will most likely ending up as North Korea. Mexico, Canada and even China seems to turn towards Europe. America government have always been trouble and I think they should be isolated from the rest of the world. And Nato should be cancelled and Canada, Mexico and Europe should build a new Alliance with Canada, uk or Germany taking on the mission as leaders.

What Trump is doing is collecting money from these tariffs, while at the same time bringing certain industries back to the United States. These tariffs will not be permanent but will remain for a certain period to encourage companies to relocate. He runs his country like a business, he doesn’t care if there are job losses elsewhere.\n\nCanada and Mexico will have to adjust and start becoming less dependent on the United States. It will be difficult for Canada because we are a consumer country, we manufacture almost nothing. TSMC is moving to the U.S., his plan is working, and other companies will follow.\n\nHere in Canada, we import a huge amount of American products. We absolutely need to change our habits, we should not support a country that wants to see us fail.

Some persons were just talking about their sentiments on their personal point of view but looking at US point of view, know that the US trade deficit (Deficit exists where US import from another nation to US exceeds US export to that nation from US) with Canada exceeded 58 billion dollars in 2024; with Mexico is more than 170 billion dollars in 2024; and with China is more than 295 billions dollars in 2024. In the Philippines, Philippine entrepreneurs and the like who are exporting their products had been enjoying tax incentives (It does mean when exports live the country versus imports being received by the country then) as Philippine export earning is the one making the Philippine economy richer with money gained while import is making the money to go out of the country (going out as cost or expense) then while being revenue of another country (so that the profit of a country which is revenue less the expense is obviously what is the truth about any argument about tariff (which in a way is discriminating the deficit in becoming wider and wider to the pleasure of those who loved imported goods then).
