And that Agent says she talked to an Indian couple who are undocumented for 22years in canada but owning 3 houses which is 2.5million. That couple use their cousin's name who has status. I am an Indian immigrant living on GTA. If I was forced to live in Brampton, I would rather go back to India than live in Brampton. The problem with Brampton is a subset of Indians that are easily recognizable and do not assimilate. Most of these specific subset come here as students and through family sponsorship ( not regular immigration stream). The students get false documents for their language and educational credentials. The politicians are also to blame for pondering for their votes. If there is one ethnic group that has the capacity to destroy Canada further in the future to a point of no return, it is this subset. Unfortunately most Canadians do not know this, and Indians as a general group are seen as the problem. It’s very interesting because Indians seem to be more thick skinned than Canadians in general, so even white ppl’s reservations or microaggressions don’t register to them and they just keep expanding on positivity. I’ve met many Indian people in Canada and it almost seems like they’re so positive and community minded that they think it’s small minded to be stingy about sharing space, which can clash with the general reserved nature of Canadians but also make you feel embarrassed in a way about being judgmental. I lived in Canada for 11 years, 2008 - 2019, went to university and worked in Toronto. I come from an upper-middle class family in China, went to a top university in Canada, landed good jobs and I speak English like a native. I got my PR in 2015 and I remember the painful uphill battle I had to go through just get that. All the bureaucracy, redtape, unnecessarily rigid rules, high cost and long wait I received from CIC/IRCC felt like a humiliation to me. Every document was scrutinized and every step had obstacle that fealt unreasonable (my TOEFL examiner ask me why I had to do the language test required by CIC, and I had to visit a notary to validate my Chinese national ID card). It felt uneasy but I understood that these were the rules that everyone had to go through, and moving and integrating into a new society was never meant to be easy. I went back to Canada in 2021 and 2024, and it was evident that the country I once called home had gone down the hill. The streets were screaming crime, unemployment, inflation, drug and filth, it's total social rot. As someone who went through the whole immigration process (and many of my friends who went through the same have left Canada for good, like myself), I attribute much of this to failed immigration policy. I cannot help but feel confused, angry, betrayed and humiliated when I look at the recent immigration policies of Canada and their results, and compare with what I had to go through. The feeling sums up to: Canada penalizes the hard-working and law-abiding people, and rewards the undeserved and the cheaters. It's not a lie. I have friends telling me stories of Indian Immigrants in small towns like Renfrew, Eaganville, Barrie, and other smaller places in between where there following and harrassing women in small towns. And their daughters alone side them. And their are never arrested. These people have disappeared of the internet 6-8 yrs ago and are popping up in small towns and even smaller villages along the highway. Parking on private property access roads for fires and picnics with there kids. I have seen it first hand all over lanark county and across the east end heading out to Embrun and east towards Plantagenet. And for anyone to deny this..it's because you live in a bubble and never leave the city. Can't goto the Ottawa River anywhere without seeing people bathing in the runoff from our fields and confronting locals tell them to stop trashing out forest and community . All the while throwing garbage into the river and bushes wherever they stop to get out of their cars. These Indians and Muslims do not care about the rules or our country. The Immigrants have over run the country and will not leave peacefully. Ask them yourself if they will. I bet they stand defiantly in your face and tell you "no".
