I'm sorry, that's not anti-Americanism. Word choices matter, and this was intentional. Think what you will of Trudeau or Canada, the reason people are turning away from networks like CNN is at least in part because you continue to pay people who are incentivized to frame everything as pro-America or anti-America. I am a citizen of the USA. Now, I feel the same way of my country as some Russians feel about their country - shame. He's living in a fairytale world fighting an unwinnable war. I think the US is right to pull the plug on financial aid to try to pressure Zelensky to negotiate to end the war. Unfortunately, to end the war Ukraine will likely have to concede the land they lost. But the reality is Putin will never give that land back. But it's better than more people dying everyday. Zelensky has gotten all too comfortable relying on financial aid and as a result he hasn't been willing to try anything new (like negotiate) to get this war finished. If we keep sending him money, nothing will change. Now he has pressure to negotiate. the US and Canada can't keep sending money to Ukraine for the next 20 years while this war carries on.

So, Canada is allowing these people into their country to sneak into our country. They couldn't get to our northern border if Canada didn't accommodate them. Entry into North American countries most be much more restrictive. Does the Canadian officials really think that turning away foreigners that say they are vacationing for two weeks is going to cripple their silly economy? Lets keep i real. The desire that most immigrants have is homeostasis which is the familiar. All humans do this. Individually indians are usually smart and decent people. The answer is simple, cut immigration, period. Unemployment rate is crazy for students looking for work because immigrants are taking the jobs. Look after your countries people first. I am a UK citizen. I find it strange that Indian nationals claim to be 'proud' of their country, yet they all want to move elsewhere (UK, US, Canada, Australia etc). If their country is so great, then why do they want to keep going to other countries? And then there's the bureaucracy for those who want to visit destinations such as India. If India wants to impose endless paperwork and procedures to other countries, then it should expect the same. India was the one that started the childish tit-for-tat behaviour when the UK and Canada were restricting visa applications during the pandemic, so therefore India banned e-visa applications from Canadians and UK citizens. If India wants to behave like this, then why can't other nations? The UK is full of Indians who come here and don't want to integrate to our way of life etc, hence it's better for everyone if they just stayed in India.

It is not about being under UN sanctions or under military rule. Many Indian visa applications (especially for student visas) are supported by fake documents. Many try to emigrate by hook or by crook especially to the US or Canada via other countries. And the less said about the behaviour of Indian tourists abroad the better. Dishonesty, cheating and so on may be a way of life in India but other countries still value decency and civic sense.

Many Indians, frustrated with the current government and financial hardships, seek to leave the country in hopes of a better life in the West. While educated individuals follow proper processes, the uneducated often resort to questionable means. In Canada’s case, this negligence on the part of both governments has had unfortunate consequences.\n\nI hope stricter policies and more accountability lead to better outcomes in the future.

The standard of living is far too low here, the land of no opportunity. I have a plan to move to Australia in 2 years, I'm done. Their wages are way higher, they get double the time off per year, they actually have work not the fake labour shortage we advertise here and cost of living is high but not as bad as here. For over 100 years home prices went up and down in price properly, 2, 3, 4 % with inflation, job raises....reasonable, slight increases....sometimes minor decreases... all fair and affordable. Starting around the year 2000, prices started to spike up, 25, 50, 100, 200, 300% while interest rates went to almost 0. Same with rent price increases.....crazy prices over the last 10 years....25, 50, over 100% price increases......Over 20 years of kaos. And now look at the mess you greedy government parasites, unions, bankers have created. Mass immigration, major government growth - spending – debt – control..., super low interest rates, mass immigration = crazy housing, rental prices......poor Canada, what a mess created by all you greedy governments, all political parties.....The only way housing prices get back to where they should be is a crash...bring it on.....the sooner the better. Right now, it’s all grossly overvalued. STOP all immigration NOW. Bring on the crash.
