The government of Canada allowed these Indians to come to Canada in excessive large numbers. They abuse every system of Canada, change the culture of Canada, buy out all businesses in Canada, and employ only their own Indians. Accountability should fall on the Government of Canada. They stopped screening properly. There used to be a point system that determined who could immigrate, and it actually worked. I’m of Pakistani descent, born and raised here, and when I’m in Brampton and walk into a Circle K, people start speaking to me in Hindi or Punjabi right away — it’s a trip. At the same time, I’m not saying everyone coming is bad. A lot of international students and new immigrants are hardworking people who want to build a better life. But plenty are also gaming the system. The real issue is that Canada messed up by letting in too many at once, with no structure to help them assimilate. When there’s no integration, no surprise people just act like they’re back home.

I came here from Nigeria as a professional. I must say the Canada govt has to develop some spines. I am grateful for the opportunity to be in Canada. I do not take it for granted. But truth be told, if you ve got a country like Canada, you cannot allow everyone in the world in. You can’t allow a single country change your demography except you are STUPID. Even heaven has boundaries. You can’t allow everyone. It is not wisdom to allow everyone. I heard why the government did the immigrants wrong. I was talking to an uber driver and my pharmacist. They told me the promises of luxury in Canada has and offered for them to live a better lives. They didn't know after they came here for work and or college/university they become in major debt. They said that they're in a luxury debt and never getting out of debt knowing that they're stuck in Canada and can't be allowed to leave unless they pay off the debts. That's 100 % wrong to do that to people when they know they don't feel welcomed and want to go home. I'm a metis Canadian and I had to leave Ontario to find affordability and miss my home. GOVERNMENT THIS IS YOUR FAULT AND YOU KNOW IT! Let them go home in debt. You made this mess. FIX IT! Including the baby boomers that made the problem started 8 % rate interests to buy houses. That was a mistake that should be bought 1 house and nothing else. I forgot to add something. The uber driver told me that india doesn't know that it's a debt luxury trap that you can't leave unless you pay your debt. He felt alone and found some people and the internet to make himself feel better temporary. TEMPORARY! He hates it here, but he respects Canadians. He feels sorry for the new ones that are coming to become debt trap. It's the same for the pharmacy. She got into college to be a pharmacy and bought the store. She is on low income but doesn't qualify for any supports like benefits to pay off her medical things. The reason she can't because they'll see the pharmacy store is income. Wait what? So she doesn't quilify for benefits because she's making income to pay off her massive loan to do her job. It's not enough to live by as what she told me. She also does misses home, but also traped in luxury debt. This is what I have learned so far. I went through a car accident and coudln't get out of the car. I thought in Brampton, Ontario was the rudest people on the planet, but was saved by the angels of indian people saved me out of the vehicle from the smoke. I still thank you! There is still good people out there and some are stupid people out there. Keep it up because being kind gets you to be positive to others and make things better when the world is fcked right now.

Canada is not bringing in immigrants to work. I am a child of immigrants. My parents worked hard from the day they landed and given 0 from the government. Today, these "new Canadians " get free housing, free large amounts of money(which they use to send back to their homeland)...while we , born Canadians find it hard to pay our everyday expenses. About over one quarter of the new immigrants are from India and Pakistan. I think due to the prosperity and stability Canada has enjoyed for so long Canadians have developed a certain standard of living and expectations in regards to that. So no, we don't want to have to work 2-3 minimum wage paying jobs to get by, no we don't want to live 4 or more to a 400 sqft studio apartment, yes we want to be able to afford our own homes, yes we want to be able to achieve a stable middle class lifestyle. That doesn't work for the crony capitalists who's greed and lust for power always needs satiating. So we have the Liberal government bringing in more immigrants than we have infrastructure to accommodate in an effort to keep wages down so profits can always be up. Immigrants who are willing to accept a lower quality of life than what most Canadians expect/accustom to because it's still superior to where they came from. So the quality of life for all Canadians is exponentially reduced. We are to accept a lower quality of life and if we resist then we are branded with all kinds of derogatory names; racist, xenophobe, fascist, unacceptable fringe, far-right extremists, et al. What's undeniable is that before the Liberals took power in 2015 we had an immigration system in Canada that worked quite well and that since the Liberals took power our immigration system is a destructive mess. This isn't by accident or incompetence, it's intentional, by design. I saw with my own eyes & felt from personal experience how great my adopted country was! However, not everything was rosy! I saw and experienced the "not-in-your-face" anti-black racism, whether politically, socially, and most def in the employment market! At the same time, the establisment (read white folks) was busy encouraging & promoting east indians to take up leadership roles in all spheres of the society, thus making them the "model minority" in the country! I'm sick of guns but just about every household owns guns. Children are killed in their own homes with guns. Who cares about alcohol being sold in their state. Honestly. People are homeless because of addiction to alcohol. Yeah saying president Trump using fentanyl for this for this trade war was a bad move. President Trump is doing this for the drugs taking over this country.
