They say racism is taught. And within young kids you can see and hear very clearly it totally can be as it’s heavily based on perspective. As someone with autism I genuinely just see people for who they are and what they provide ignoring race or politics and I’ve never been racist. With all of that said I almost feel as a white Canadian now a days what “first generation racism” feels like. But it’s not like traditional “racism” hating for the sake of hating. It’s more so getting mad that they come into our country refusing to adapt and then also take countless amounts of jobs while sky rocketing housing prices. Like damn when I was a kid I felt like I had so many options. But now there’s no seeable future for me it feels like. Immigrants are taking so many jobs and countless people faking disabilities so I cannot have mine taken seriously or properly. Like holy crap man call me “racist” but mass immigration has undeniably changed Canada for the worst and if you don’t agree you’re probably one of the problems that moved here

I was born and raised here. I've given birth to 6 children whom all have issues finding employment. Because all the jobs are taken every convenience store every timorhorns, every Taco Bell, every Burger King. Is taken their jobs and giving them to newcomers. I'm not against people coming over to our beautiful land and enjoying and contributing. Insane that? You've Come to us kindly respect us. Don't take Uber the way it is going right now. We are gonna be the minority and what's gonna happen 50 years down the road? Our great grandkids are gonna be going after the government. Canadians can't afford to have babies. I don't know what makes the government or the immigrants they bring in think that, after the free government stipends and support ends, theyll be able to afford to have babies. They won't. They'll be in the same position most Canadians are in: working their life away to pay their bills, and having the government take half their income in the form of taxes in order to pay for all the NEW immigrants who arrive. I'm guessing that's partly why a lot of new immigrants are leaving Canada shortly after they arrive: they were sold a fairy tale that no longer exists, and probably won't exist again until Canadians wake up and vote out the Liberal party.

I read a story about a guy a few years ago who came from India on a student Visa and planned on staying and therefore wanted to change the Canadian flag. He said he was appalled and felt as a migrant it was offensive because Canada and by extension its flag was part of the Commonwealth and Britain's imperialist history with India made the Canadian flag offensive. 😳 I probably don't have to tell you what kind of comments he got.

The only reason the US imports so much from Canada is because the Democrats stopped production of all the materials Canada supplies the US because of their green policies. \nBut President Trump is reopening the gas, oil, electricity and agriculture production, so they won’t need to import so much from Canada, in fact probably reducing it substantially. \nProbably what will happen now is discussions on various goods to become equal on terms of cost in both countries levelling the playing field.

What exactly did Trudeau do against Fentanyl in Canada? He could've ended the entire countries homelessness and created drug rehab facilities for everyone with the amount of money he sent to Ukraine. He probably could've used the military equipment that was shipped to patrol the border and prevent more of the drug entering the country.

I really believe that it just comes down to Trump feeling resentment that he will never be part of a perceived 'inner circle' of establishment world leaders. Could Canada Win a Trade War?\n Trump has waged Economic War on Canada in order to bring us to our knees so that we will eventually capitulate to become the 51st state.\n\n Had he come in a nice way, as a friend verses a foe, he would have had a lot more interest, especially from Alberta. \n\n Now that we are here, the question has to be asked, can we actually win a trade war that has probably been extensively war-gamed by the U.S.?\n\n Our politicians want us to go toe to toe with a 900 lb gorilla. The U.S. economy is at least 10 times our size and are less dependent on our trade than we are. We may give them a black eye but they could rip our arms and legs off. \n\n Retaliatory tariffs play into their hands. It’s the perfect excuse to increase the tax to 50 or 100%. So will we do the same? This would devastate us, achieving their goals.\n\n Canadians are already fighting back without the government making things worse. People are boycotting U.S. goods en masse and cancelling travel plans, etc. and this is already having a strong effect.\n\n Some say turn off the electricity and oil, but who will pay price? It will be the businesses and employees, not the politicians who are now trying to act tough. If we want this to turn into a real kinetic war, then turning off the taps may do it. \n\n We have seen countless times where politicians tell us what we want to hear, making us think they are heading is a certain direction, only to find they do the exact opposite. This proves you can not believe what career politicians say and have to go by what they do, or don’t do, instead. Yet now, they confidently declare that Canada will never become the 51st state. This should raise eyebrows. \n\n Almost all of the MPs and Premiers are unanimous in entering into a trade war we can not win. After tariffs go ballistic, our dollar drops to .35 cents, and we get utterly crushed, I can see them say, “in order to save what’s left of our economy and society we must reluctantly join the U.S. or face certain destruction”. \n\n Not only would the decades old goal of a North American Union be accomplished, but we would take a large step towards the video statement that the World Economic Forum - WEF posted on their website. “By 2030, you will own nothing and be happy”. \n\n The WEF is working with the UN to achieve their Agenda 2030 goals and is what Pierre Poilievre and the “Conservatives” signed Canada onto Sept. 27, 2015. This is what Trudeau has been implementing. Mark Carnie, Pierre, and Jagmeet Singh would finish off the job. Read the redistribution of wealth goal #10. Are you feeling poorer yet? Remember, one has to dig deeper to see through the document’s ultimate double speak written for public consumption. \n\n There is much more going on than meets the eye. Our best defence is to not play into their hands. A much better plan needs to be developed by minds who see the big picture for creative solutions, and it does not seem to be those in office now

I think Canada is the best partner you can have. Unfortunately, I fear that Trump has no interest in good relations with civilized partners, whether in America, Europe or worldwide. I can well imagine that he is pursuing completely different goals - Moscow is probably just a foretaste ... . Stay strong!

There's about a hundred other people that you could pick a fight with instead of Canada. \n\n\nYou'd probably be in everyone's interest if you just took responsibility for your own fiscal mismanagement. I voted for Trump and a lot of his policies and actions I agree with, THIS one I do not, Canada did not let in NEARLY as many illegal immigrants as Mexico so it makes no sense why he is punishing them, and he isn't, he just doesn't like Trudeau probably because he was friends or friendly with Biden, same with Zelensky AND Canada wanted to ban products from red states for electing him which is frankly just a stupid policy. \nThis is not hard to figure out, Trump doesn't like Trudeau and Ford, plain and simple......it really is THAT shallow, he is trolling Trudeau by calling them the 51st state and anyone know knows Trump and how he thinks knows that.

There's many reasons not to like Trudeau up here in Canada, many of which are the reason he'll (rightfully) no longer be the PM next week. As a conservative I hated him for SNC-Lavalin (among other scandals), and the fact that his inexperience with the economy Harper left him is probably part of why this trade war is going to hurt more than it could have, and the fact that he's often been kind of a phony more concerned with looking and sounding good for the press cameras. Not this time. Nothing phony here; I've got to give credit to him for capturing the national mood pretty much perfectly with this speech. Good on him. \n\nAnd congratulations as well to Donald for pretty much handing the Liberals their best shot at a fourth term, too. What an absolute idiot. Normally I'd turn my nose up at having to vote Liberal, but I am so, so sick of the brand of empty populism Trump stands for that it looks like that's what I'm gonna be doing come election time.

Wow, this is an American President who can talk coherently. I suggest that Canada invites all US-American States who still have a sane sense to join the United States of Canada. I bet, the world would be in a better state if we had leaders like President Trudeau. So I guess it is only a trade war when the US demands reciprocal tariffs? It seems like injustice to be put on an even playing field when you have not been being held to the same standards. Canada, Mexico and most other countries have had tariffs on the goods they send to the US for decades; why all of the complaints now? Isn’t it fair that the US charge tariffs if Canada and Mexico charge tariffs? Yes, it is. What the hell is Trudeau even flapping his gums about? Perhaps all aid should be taken from Canada and Mexico for being ungrateful. You ever heard of the North American Union? It’s a thing. Look it up.
