I'm pretty convinced living in Canada is a smarter move than trying to survive the BS in the US

Trudeau is a joke. While he is pushing his agenda. Fur starters, he fails to mention the trade deficit with the usa. So bottom line while everyone loses, canada loses more. We need to make every effort to increase trade with the pacific rim, Europe and South America. There may be some short-term pain, but it has to happen. Given the events of the last few years in the U.S., Canadians have to realize that things can get even worse, and will likely never be the same. There is very little reason to believe that the ties Canada has had with the U.S. will ever be what they were, or indeed any reason to believe that that is even desirable now.

I seem to recall the whole tariff thing started when Donald wanted to even up the 200 billion dollar subsidy to Canada which doesn’t exist, then he chose the immigration and fentanyl crisis that doesn’t exist … can’t wait to hear the next excuse. I'm canadian here in Canada - most of us despise trudeau and are struggling to survive under his high tax regime. We want trudeau to sit down and shut up and stop robbing us Canadians of a living and of our election. We have wanted an election for months now. He has denied us that.

Like Russia, Canada has key strategic resources and huge oil and gas reserves. The west could not cause the collapse of the Russian economy after it invaded Ukraine because of that key fact. Canada will eventually find other markets for its natural resources. This is a sad fact as integrating our economy with the U.S. has been a great benefit to both countries. You buy our natural resources, we buy your manufactured goods. Too bad, this administration does not see this simply reality.
