what one of the first indian old men you interviewed i think had an amazing point. There is no reason you should choose to immigrate to another country and continue to push your culture on everyone in said country.

First of all, Tyler is a hardworking journalist and I respect that, however a lot of this video was wildly ignorant, from almost everyone involved, including from him. This is cheap views unfortunately. It paints a very bad perspective for all the genuinely hardworking citizens and residents of Indian origins, why not show that side of them too? There’s obviously actual students who come to study and provide for the community while also maintaining their own culture? What’s wrong with that? Besides, what is a Canadian culture if not a mix of immigrants from all around the world? Are white people also not just immigrants to this country or did they magically spawn in this place? They’ve committed ATROCITIES (not just in Canada), yet have the audacity to act like they’re the cleanest ones in the land. While I do agree some Indians do not improve the reputation, most are really kind, helpful and honest people. Perhaps treat everyone like humans for a change instead of using the bad ones as a benchmark. PS, cutting to the ugly streets when someone mentions Punjab is probably the cheapest attention grab, obviously there’s bad streets, ugly roads, gross people everywhere but so are beautiful ones, lovely countryside views, beautiful mountains and most of all, very hardworking and respectful people as well. Your view of Punjab is just NOT the same as the one of the people in the video who view their motherland as a beautiful place. You can portray every place in the world in that light with the wrong perspective, be it New York, Paris, Barcelona, Cairo, Sydney, Rio, London, etc, but it must be nice to get a few more looks at the expense of demeaning others.

As an Indian, I feel so bad for Australia, Canada, New Zealand. The psychology of our people is : - lack of realisation of anyone's pain - zero tolerance to dissent - pretend to love others as long as you not call them out and if you do, all these angelic demeanor falls off, they come for you, your family, everyone. - complete respect for the countries they inhabit seeking absolute dominance and control. - then turn the country into sh.... then make their kids move to other countries to encroach and change demographics. If everyone just immigrated to western countries then what’s the point of having other countries? The reason different cultures exist is mainly because people were separated by geography! We can’t all occupy the same land mass! This is insanity!

The Indian community isn't just visiting Canada; they are building, funding, and healing it every single day.

As a Canadian, one that lives in GTA at that. Thank you for this video! We have two first languages (French & English)..yet speaking Punjabi is now an asset. Tim Hortons & McDonald’s used to be for our youth…now they can’t get jobs. The one thing we all loved growing up is the fact that our country was so diverse/multicultural. So many people actually born here either move further or have been leaving the country because theres damn near no more Canada. What invasion? We all came here legally with passports and valid visas. WE work jobs, help our community, isnt that canadian enough? Respect to the indian man who came as an RN and understood the problems with not working hard. He may have a rose-tinted view on Canada being no different than India, which is aproblem in itself, but the mindset is inherently what we want from our newcomers, and not just importing everyone from a hyper-specific area of another country in i.e. India. This is why selective immigration that has been done for years before Trudeau did wonders for this country. Very insightful. The race doesn't matter, the diversity we value is actually lost when you only import anything and don't vet anyone at all, it then becomes simply and factually non-diverse.

It's the 21st century and western countries have been sending billions to developing countries since the 1940's to develop their countries. This was a U.N. pact started in the 1940's. For Canadians:- Improve your immigration policy, how the heck are you allowing so many people in a short amount of time? And what's that college scam, Some people from your country make fake Universities, contact people from abroad and make them come in Canada, then they take their money as fees and then flash! No such college existed. And foreign people are trapped there. Also, hire qualified people with degrees like the USA does. Indians are living in USA too, but it's not such a big problem in USA BCOS of their policies. Not everyone is wrong,but make sure to punish the wrong one's. Imply tough rules on cleanliness and job hirings. Instead of banning people from these countries, imply strict regulations on them. For indians or any other communitee:- Shame on you guys, no one is saying you to leave your culture or something. It's just that be like a Canadian, give jobs to other communities too. Maintain cleanliness standards of Canada, not india or any country. Follow canadian driving rules rather then any other countries. The problem is there are just to many off them. Then too many have gotten very arrogant saying thing like this our country now. Taking over cities street with loud music for some wedding and to those who also live on the street cannot even park there car or live in there homes due to the loud noise. No permit, just taking over. The other problem the last few years immigrations number have skyrocket and 90% of them our Indians. The government should have never let such a large group from one country enter. Meanwhile as climate change happen a lot of countries will be in trouble and the people will need to go somewhere. Iran has only 3% of there water reserve left. India has ruin there country and so has China with pollution and dumping of heavy metel in river and lakes. Meanwhile the Caribbean is expected to be unlivable in 15 and 20 years. The USA we are expected to lose 100 miles of our coastline. That area is where 50% of Americans lives. Pretty soon it will be everyone for themselves if certain country do not look at the long term picture. Also the lifestyle we are living today is just not sustainable.

The problem is immigration back in day was a luxury in India so only riches made it outside and they were rich compared to others after independence because they were more pro british and served them. So it was easy for them to immigrate and assimilate into your culture. Now you see many poor people also immigrating because immigration became more accessible, its just like the touchscreen phones, before only rich people had them, but later and now everyone has it. Plus your overly liberal and the stupid point system lets anyone enter the country if they meet a specific criteria, they barely check their english, background, crime record, etc. Also, living in India is a survival, or a nightmare for short. Especially for the poor people in the up north, and so they go to these shady agents who claim that they can send him or her to Canada, UK, Australia where ever they want in exchange for some money. Sometimes these agents turnout to be scams and sometimes not, then these students apply to some fake university that has no campus in Canada and select a course thats easy. Then once approved they come to canada, don’t go to university and make some other indian friends who say they have contacts with some job providers and through that the students get their jobs at the fast food joints and shopping malls. The mindset with which these students come to Canada is that I want to get a simple job as soon as I land in Canada and through that job I can get a PR. They never go to assimilate or discover the culture, they come because the country looks nice, has resources, and will provide them with a good salary so that they send some money back home to their parents as compared to low paying jobs in India, which too are super competitive. They still like the indian way of life, the culture, the food, the attire, just not in India. Thats why you’ll never see these students eating at anything other than a Indian Punjabi Restaurant or a fast food joint, they will never make white friends, they will never try to change the way they speak and look at Canadians, they will never try to change their driving habits. In conclusion, more poor people and students migrating, paired with their mindset of “I want everything to be Indian just not in India but in a place that looks better” paired with their low interest in actually learning and working better jobs is what makes them a bad immigrant group. But thats not to say that all are like that its only some and mostly Punjabis/ other North Indians that have this mindset. The reason why the Indian group in USA is much better and successful is because they are mostly of south indian descent. Those people are far more educated, actually respect the law of the land. And fun fact: The stereotypical Indian Accent originated from USA mainly and reason why many indians say that they don’t speak in that accent is because that particular stereotypical accent is present in Indian people who come from the states of Andra Pradesh and Telegana, which is is where most of the Indians in USA are actually from. This is horrific! As an immigrant from India who has worked his b*tt off to make a better life for himself, this makes me feel so ashamed... I don't think most Canadians have a problem with Indians. I think we have a problem with our government who is not able to enforce a policy that puts the country first. Immigration built Canada and good immigration creates jobs and opportunities. What we're seeing is the government exploiting everyone who built his country. The sudden wave of immigrants coming to Canada was too much all at once. Them not respecting the Canadian ways doesn't help the fact that they are taking over our country. I lived in Canada for 11 years, 2008 - 2019, went to university and worked in Toronto. I come from an upper-middle class family in China, went to a top university in Canada, landed good jobs and I speak English like a native. I got my PR in 2015 and I remember the painful uphill battle I had to go through just get that. All the bureaucracy, redtape, unnecessarily rigid rules, high cost and long wait I received from CIC/IRCC felt like a humiliation to me. Every document was scrutinized and every step had obstacle that fealt unreasonable (my TOEFL examiner ask me why I had to do the language test required by CIC, and I had to visit a notary to validate my Chinese national ID card). It felt uneasy but I understood that these were the rules that everyone had to go through, and moving and integrating into a new society was never meant to be easy. I went back to Canada in 2021 and 2024, and it was evident that the country I once called home had gone down the hill. The streets were screaming crime, unemployment, inflation, drug and filth, it's total social rot. As someone who went through the whole immigration process (and many of my friends who went through the same have left Canada for good, like myself), I attribute much of this to failed immigration policy. I cannot help but feel confused, angry, betrayed and humiliated when I look at the recent immigration policies of Canada and their results, and compare with what I had to go through. The feeling sums up to: Canada penalizes the hard-working and law-abiding people, and rewards the undeserved and the cheaters. Example: when the US creates wars in the Middle East, why does CANADA bear the cost of bringing in refugees? I never regretted moving back to China and East Asia, and I feel bad for those who still truly think of Canada as home, as I am one myself. When the leadership of a country deviates from pragmatism, reason and common sense, and instead embraces idealogies, hypocrisy and political optics, this is what happens. The prices are paid by everyone, immigrant or not. For this, Trudeau deserves a court trial for his incompetence and dereliction of duty; and the people of Canada need some honest and serious retrospection. I will share some words of wisdom by the late Lee Kwan Yew: “Whoever governs Singapore (LKY was the PM and founding father of Singapore) must have that iron in him. Or give it up. This is not a game of cards, this is your life and mine. I've spent a whole lifetime building this and as long as I'm in charge, nobody is going to knock it down.” I hope the clownish weakling politicians in Canada (and, in much of the western world nowadays) can be enlightened a little bit.

I’m 49 years old and grew up in the UK. I was always proud of our multiculturalism growing up about 1/5 of the classrooms were of another country/race. Everyone loved the immigrants they came in worked hard and didn’t cause trouble, most importantly they intergrated. But something changed with this new wave of immigration. They don’t integrate, they don’t work, they want to cha ge the country and religion. They don’t seem to even like Brit’s 😂. It’s a sad situation. Govt has clearly done this on purpose so the natives have to fight for scraps by bringing in desperate people

Why Canada government allowing everyone to the country? They are allowing people without background check , some indians those are bad or criminal history can easily entre the canada , that no good .

As a Brampton raised kid, I lived there from 97' till about 2023, I'm caribbean and we have a large indian/muslim/hindu population too on our island. (Trinidad) and the issue with Brampton is: Indian people will gladly intergrade, but Canadian borns won't welcome it. Walk with me- I'll use food for an example. Every other grocery store is middle eastern/asian/african in Brampton and its becomes harder finding more western style food. I love international food, I cook it often but if you're used to burgers and pizza and only know how to make spaghetti it feels like a 'take over' These people want what they want and even though all these places are free for you to also enjoy they don't like it cause it's too 'foreign' to them. It doesn't mean there isnt still a No Frills or a Walmart or Metro, but because the african and halal store are closer and more frequent it seems like more of a convenience to others and not to you. When people say we're multi-cultural, they mean 'yeah he's brown or black but he keeps it to himself' They aren't going to go to that Sikh temple giving free food, and only go to the church at the beginning even though they're welcome to both. It's the same for Diwali and other things, white people dont care to be interested in those things, and just wonder why they get to have it at all. I do agree with that indian lady at the beginning though, with lax immigration you come in feeling like you don't need to do anything to assimilate. They're doing themselves a disservice by only helping themselves. I hate stereotypes being perpetuated onto people but like that Pakistani guy said too, you live in a bubble and you don't pay attention to that. You can go days without speaking english to someone. You can't immigrate somewhere and shut out everyone already there. I get you may not feel welcome by the white people like the ones in the beginning and so you dont mess with them, and its easy not to. But there needs to be openness with helping everyone benefit from multi-culturalism and not just some of us. There are issues with immigrants not wanting to go outside their bubble and for canadians not to want to either, It'll be hard to (with the current issues we're facing as a country) to actually blend together more.

the difference is not the color of the skin, the difference is cultural.. when people move to any country and refuse to assimilate and adopt the ways of the host country.. instead they bring their own rules and the way they did things from the country of origin. if they throw trash in the streets where they use to live they throw trash in the streets in the host country.. and again as I said on another video of yours, we use to have a sustainable model that took in high value people (most of the time) now with the liberals they have brought in everyone including criminals, those who refuse to speak English, those who want to keep the way of life they had elsewhere, uneducated, and going to fake schools that are only there to get people here on student visas. their culture is one of scams, racism, do we have good east Indians? yes 100% I have met many that I love, but over these past few years the ones who have taken over.. no.. they do not have any respect for us or even those East Indians that have been here for generations.

See the issue with multi culturalism is that “like people” tend to stick with “like people”. It’s human nature… for instance, when I go to school or the break room- I sit with my friends. I interact with, socialize outside of the current setting - because that’s where we are comfortable. Everyone in life chooses to be comfortable, as it’s better. When we mass immigrate (especially from one country) we can’t be surprised that this happens. Of course Indian people do business, socialize, real estate, etc… with other Indian people. It’s what they are comfortable with. I think mass immigration is an awful idea and a culture that doesn’t encourage assimilation and chooses multi culturalism will find that it’ll no longer be multicultural- as the new dominate culture in Canada will be Punjabi.

Canada has open door policy and keeps taking all sorts of people from all parts of world without verification, checks and balances. Those outsiders are infiltrating your politics, academia, judiciary, pop culture and start influencing your domestic and foreign policy, start electing own people, take over your country and bring their culture, domestic conflicts, religious extremism, communalism, misogyny, lack of hygiene, lawlessness in your country also. And cry victimhood and call everyone racist when they are finally held accountable.

I can’t find no damn job. But it’s fine I’m gonna have to go the entrepreneur route. If I don’t then my future children will be doomed. Why tf is there no diversity at Tim Hortons and Walmart? As someone who is born in Canada as an Indian. This is absolutely sad to here. I want the best for Canadians who are born and raised here. I have 10 years of experience working in the nation I was raised and I am having some people have my job who aren't even fit for the job. It makes no sense to me. Our wages have stalled due to international students for a better life, but at the end I want money just like other Canadians who have been here for ages. Also we need to end why our government allows lucrative hiring contracts overseas for cheaper positions in certain degrees and diplomas. In addition, why are all of our call centers placed all over the world. From Africa, south east Asia, South Asia. Those jobs can be available here. We can have a decomcratic country if our country didn't care about just "growth" we didn't need more immigration. We needed systematic change in government, schools, common sense, I could go on. I think us as Canadians don't know how corrupt the world really is. Look at other countries and how they work. It's lucrative essentives to benefit only certain people. I would rather have our tax payer money be used to fix the system. My dad's been here since the 1980s and he is sad for everyone. This is a loss on both ends. We didn't create new universities, new highways to support the population, no hospitals, new schools. I remember when my class sizes were 18 to 20 kids. We need change, not radical because we were never that. Let's do what we do best and be Canadians for us first.

It’s all about the collages and universities keeping the professors and teachers working.. Doesn’t matter what it’s doing to Canadians in the background as long as they stay relevant and get a pay check while teaching courses that will NOT help students in the real world.. This student immigration is a scam and we all know it, now we need politicians with big enough balls to stop this program and remove everyone that is non compliant and we start taking back our country.

I live in Brampton, i am all for diversity but where is the diversity if everyone is Indian. I am French originally and i am in a minority of one! Let's be clear, the massive Indian increase in the population is due to Trudeau's immigration policy, the indians did not jump over the border as some of the comments suggest, they mostly came here legally, and this was done without broad agreement of the Canadian population as a whole. Canadian population went from being 30 million inhabitants to 40 millions in just over a decade, a massive population increase in a short time due mostly to Indian immigration with huge impact on housing , cost of housing, infrastructure, jobs, taxes, etc... The liberals have a lot to answer for the disaster which Canada has become in the last 10 years and yes they got rid off Trudeau, but they are still in power, stiffling the potential economic growth of Canada which should be a rich country instead of being a country where many people live from pay cheques to pay cheques.
