My husband and I were both immigrants to Canada, he from S. Africa, I from the UK. I never experienced any discrimination. My busband was diagnosed with late stage bone cancer at 31 years old. The medical care was so good that he lived another 6 mostly happy years. We were supported by the Ontario Health Care system with visiting nurses, even housekeepers and received every help we could possibly need, at no cost to us. I will always be grateful for the love and support we received from Canadian friends, employers and the medical professionals. What a country! I am in Europe now but feel strongly that Canada, the EU, Britain, the wonderful Ukrainians (I know quite a few refugees) and other countries of good will should work together for a better world. We are a family and families support each other in difficult times. Americans welcome when they are ready.

I am Canadian Citizen, but 100% support Trump for what he is doing for his country. Every country should be independent whatever their core values. I hate making a group of countries to blackmail other countries like EU, BRICS, NATO are doing around the world. The US isn't launching a trade war against anyone. We are closing up shop and are getting ready to take care of our own. There is a massive difference. We cannot be expected to continue supporting other countries economies and defense obligations, when we have 2 generations of working class citizens unable to afford a home or have children. We have entire countries we could fill with the homeless and incarcerated, and veterans who see little to no positive treatment or respect within the job market. Things are already very very bad here in the states. I don't think many Americans realize how bad the economy is. Tariffs will force US companies to reduce the outsourcing of jobs, and force other countries who are over-reliant on trade from the States, to cultivate their own self-sufficiency. This may seem hypocritical when it comes to China, but that isn't a problem you can solve overnight. \n\nTo make it clear, Americans are going to suffer in the wake of this tariff decision, but that is the price we pay to force ourselves to change. We have made ourselves into a very weak country because of overreliance on other countries trade, and other countries overreliance on our intelligence, infrastructure, medical advancements, technological advancements, and defense capabilities. The american consumer and taxpayer front the bills for all of this, and they are suffering. This isn't a war on the rest of the world. It us telling everyone else that we can no longer be relied upon because we are weak. \n\nI didnt' even vote Trump the first two times he ran. But things have now gotten so bad that I was forced into voting for him this time. Why? Because he's a bull in a china shop. I expect him to tear every damn thing apart he can within our government. Those tariffs are such a stupid thing to do... for every country they are doing this, USA is basically making the chinese products so much more appealing for them. It would be MUCH cheaper to exchange those products for chinese ones instead of paying the tariffs. I used to be a huge fan of America. I truly believed it was the world’s policeman, the guiding force for justice and freedom. I looked up to the country, admiring its strength, its values, and the way it stood for what was right. I even wished my own country could be more like that. \n\nBut America is no longer what it once was. It’s heartbreaking to see how a once-free and hopeful nation has transformed into something so divided, hostile, and unpredictable. A country that once stood by its friends now turns its back on them. A nation that once fought for unity now thrives on division and conflict. \n\nThere are still many good people in America, and the country is not beyond hope. But deep down, every American must realize—this is not the right path. This is not who you are meant to be. \n\nWake up before it’s too late.

As an American who opposes - STRONGLY opposes - the Trump administration and everything it stands for, I am sorry for what our country's government is doing to the rest of the world but especially to our oldest, closest allies. \n\nThe MAGA faithful will remain faithful even as the prices of virtually everything goes up and up and our economy tanks. They believe what comes out of Trump's mouth no matter what it is, no matter how obvious reality proves him wrong. Those of us who know what Trump really is have known what he's really about since the beginning. He's about himself and nothing more. His every move, his every word is about further enriching himself and patting himself on the back for his greatness.\n\nHis election to a 2nd term (and maybe more if he decides to ignore our Constitution) will be written about in the history books and it will not be favorable. This is what he wants, though. He wants to be thought of as an influential figure. Well, he is that. But so was a certain little Austrian monster who is remembered with great shame and disgust.

WE didn't do this. WE fought against it. We tried to explain & warn people about what is happening & what will happen, but you didn't EFFING LISTEN. WE are ANGRY. WE will NOT help any of you who caused this & this includes every MSM who is too afraid to speak truth to power. Start doing that NOW. Start with THIS: It's called The Gulf of Mexico, NOT the Gulf of America. Eff every Trump supporters & GOP politician--at EVERY level of government. Trump can TRY to hide what he's doing to the economy in his stupid reports. Do you honestly believe the average American pays attention to those? No, most are too busy worrying over how to pay their bills & all they'll see is that their situation is getting worse. They can't find a job. They can't afford gas. They can't afford groceries. You can't cover any of that up. WE stand with Canada, Ukraine, the EU, & every other ally nation. Not Russia. Putin can go straight to hell & the sooner the better.

Donald Trump and his administration have been captured by Russia. Every single thing he does that seems not to make sense, which seems to hurt America, are directives from Vladimir Putin. He wants to weaken America and destabilize the West. And he found individuals willing to commit treason in order to do his bidding. I hope the rest of the world understands what has happened to the U.S. government. Many of us, who didn't vote for Trump, understood he was a Russian asset. Trump voters rejected this and believed his lies. The majority of Trump voters will soon realize they have been betrayed. They don't have to become Democrats to abandon Trump and fight against this Russian takeover of our country. We need them. We need the world's help.
