Me & my family are Canadian citizen living here from 15 years, however if all goes as per plan with gods grace will be returning to India permanently soon.\n\nYes the facts covered are correct, the second part in video has got worse here.\n\nAlso in last 5 years many Indians came on site or with PR, before that work culture was very great, our Indians specially this TCS, Infosys & those on site brought all the garbage politics and their bad habits with them, therefore work & life balance has disturbed horribly.\n\nWith Gods blessings We are very well set here but my family is not happy here.\n\nOur country India has problems same like other countries but many good things.\n\nFrankly those from crowded cities like Mumbai & those completely dependent on jobs can come here however those having good pay in India, good house living with family stay there.\n\nMany come for show off here, winter life for 6-7 months is super dull here, don't get fooled by the Instagram snow pictures. I think that what you are describing is the case in most western traditionally European countries. I also think that is on purpose. I live in the US and have my entire life, I'm in my 50's (let's just leave that there!). the same can be said for many places in this country. I've lived in newengland my whole life. it used to be considered the benchmark when I was growing up in the 70's and 80's , as far as cost of living , cost to buy a home , wages and job opportunities , quality of life, safety. its not the case now. I did recently move to extreme northern new England this year as southern New England where I grew up and my family is , too crowed, too expensive etc. I am within 1-5 miles of Canadian border where I am now, but still in US! I do have a current passport, just renewed it and plan to visit NB and Quebec City and hopefully PEI . I do live in a very rural area with low population currently. farming and timber are main industries here. not a lot going on, but at my age I really enjoy it. reminds me of how things used to be when I was growing up 40 years ago! people and even young people are polite and decent here, no traffic. its a bubble, but we are 500 miles from the chaos to the south. I pray a lot nowadays! thx for sharing , I followed your videos years ago, I am glad you've done well for yourself and you've turned into a beautiful woman and a decent person! my daughters are half Ukrainian from their mother and Polish/English from myself. one thing about northern maine is that there is no fresh kielbasa , pierogie or kapusta up here! Great assessment. My wife left Vancouver 22yrs ago. It was bad then and has only gotten worse. Sadly the residents would rather smoke a joint than vote for a conservative govt and attend a church. As a Canadian - the immigration tom-foolery that is happening is just as bad up here. Our Prime Minister is a handsome idiot, he was a drama teacher before he became Prime Minister (I know, make that one make sense). He has no idea what he's doing, he's being used as a puppet for more experienced extortionists-erm-politicians. With the help of his party members and a coalition with another party, in less than ten years he has taken Canada from a great place to visit and live to basically what's happening in NY. Crime in our cities has gone up dramatically. Theft is on the rise. Homelessness and drug use is through the roof. Immigration is out of control. And our government also prioritizes immigrants and asylum seekers before born and raised Canadian citizens. As a Canadian who is tired of the nonsense that's been happening in the world this past decade, I wish our government would put on their big boy pants and do something about this uncontrolled immigration. Things are bad here too. Our government seems to keep changing policies and laws to further accomodate the insanity that is happening, I promise, not every Canadian wants these changes to happen. We are just as sick and tired of all this nonsense as our American cousins. I wouldn't be surprised if both countries at some point united in objective and worked together to fix this problem - but that's not gonna happen anytime soon as long as these dummies are in power. But believe me, the regular people of Canada see what you're going through because it's also happening in our own back yard. My wife and I moved to Canada about a decade ago from post-Soviet states, where we both grew up with not much more than our smarts and a strong work ethic. When we arrived, adapting/integrating Canadian values, especially work ethics, was a big deal for us. Those first few years were tough, we really had to hustle to improve our lives. Now, a decade later, we're both in pretty solid tech and science jobs. Our child had the incredible privilege of being born in Canada, and that fills me with immense joy.\n\nIt wasn't just our own grit that got us where we are now; we owe a lot to the incredibly welcoming Canadians we met along the way. I'm thankful every day for the awesome, kind-hearted folks we've met. Canadians are truly some of the best people around, and despite lots and lots of issues, Canada is one of the greatest countries in the world. I know this because I've lived and worked across many countries on many continents . We, Canadians, need to keep working to make it even better. I'm proud to be a Canadian immigrant. I bet another reason the government would rather have rentals is they usually pay twice the property taxes that homeowners do. That can amount to tens of thousands a year difference in tax revenue for each and every property on a street. Sad but true.....\nStill I have to agree with the high immigration numbers. I am able to achieve the American dream in two years with an average salary( single income) , protect myself and my family with 2nd amendment right. 30yr fixed mortgage rate at 3.0% on a brand new house what Canadians would consider a big home at 2400 sq foot home. Foods cheaper , fuel cheaper, Nike is cheaper lol and most importantly No snow. \n\nIf I carried the same amount of salary to Mississauga I would completely have the total opposite. I became a Canadian citizen 15 years ago! Now I am looking to sell my assets in Canada and move back home! Everything is crazy expensive nowadays with high taxes! I work 2 jobs!
