I came in Windsor Ontario as a foreign worker in 2009, wasn't the best time to look for a job there but still. I did 1 year of studying, worked again, left for Alberta in 2012 where I still am. Got my PR in 2014 and citizenship in 2022. Most of the things I hear against living in Canada must be true, I don't doubt it but I'm just not aware of them. I didn't even know there was a bank account freezing during COVID. It wasn't easy to get a good job, I had to leave for a small community in Alberta to get the most of what I wanted and that's why I am oblivious to the harsher reality that people have to endure in Toronto or Vancouver. But the thing is, as soon as I landed in Toronto and got robbed 50$ by some guy (this is just an anecdote not the real reason), I knew I shouldn't try to make a living there. I know job opportunities are in those big cities but please, if you can, there are great communities that need people, workers, consumers and families. If you can land a job there, move! At least try. It doesn't even have to be that far up north, nor to be a mini small village. Small city, rural living, no criminality, cheap housing, lots of space, family friendly, no traffic, no wait time to see a doctor, friendly people, douchebags, we have it here. Are they drawbacks? Yes of course. Need to drive 1 or 2 hour to get a scan or an MRI, car dependance is exacerbated but hey, it feels like a free country where no one have been overpriced...yet.

Okay so ever sonce the rent caps were REMOVED by the provincial government back in 2018, yhe amount of homelessness has gone through the roof, that and the fact that in Ontario the Provinical government has froze social assistance and disability service rates. It is a cop out to say its the refugees! You guys have it all wrong. But hey you could be here from the IDU to help bolster Pierre Polivier. Our fucking borders are NOT open. That is ridiculous. Doug Ford has fucked everyone over in Ontario. They are more interested in helping gain power with their IDU member party buddies.

Tell me TORONTO are to clean ? there is no way to give incoming people what to do without DOZENS OF STUPID PAPERS? Canadian (Albertan here) - yes, i don't think i'd move to the States unless it was reasonably close (maybe Montana) with fewer people - i'd like to identify as a Hermit :). I motorcycle and have travelled majority of the States, from coast to coast, and i really do like the country side and scenery, and history, that you run through. I do a 4000-6000 mile tripe every year or two - did Tennessee last year, and Colorado this summer. A lot of absolutely amazing country really, and yes some really great people as well. Have run into some real odd people as well and some places i wanted to get out of pretty quick. I do like the fact the US hasn't bought into this woke agenda and politically correctness - it's absolutely nuts up here. I like the gun laws in the States, too bad we're so screwed over that in Canada. Gotta love Trump - may be a bit of a bozo but hey - the guy lays it out and owns his shit, every other polititician plays the blame game and does everything politically correct... End of day, i'd prefer to stay in Canada, either Alberta or British Columbia.

I live next to a drop off destination for Joe Biden's migrants. I would have to say they appear to be victims of the Democrat party, in that, like many other groups of people they have been lied to or given false hopes of success or prosperity. It is evident every morning when about thirty men gather in groups awaiting, perhaps a local contractor, to drive up and offer them a few hours of work, digging a hole or some other menial task. We also now have these corner Hey Cocos fruit stands where another of Joe's migrants sits for hours, making a couple bucks, at best, and a few more for whoever owns the cart and provides the fruit. I can only imagine where all these men must be sleeping at night, who might be paying for their space on a garage floor. Their only relief comes from gathering at the park across the street to use the barbecues and tables, and share a meal. For some the meal leads to beer and drunkenness. I watched the police send five of them back to the garage since they were all in a car drinking, even an open alcohol container in CA is illegal. If I were one of them I would have been arrested, but these lucky Biden immigrants were simply told to walk away. I hope the police at least impounded the car. Ten o'clock on a Sunday morning, people jogging, people walking their dogs, unaware of Joe Biden's guys, ready to drive away in drunken bliss. Thank you Joe. Thank you Democrats, you have created another group of dependents at least you can give them free health-care, I suppose that's one way to say they have improved their lives by coming here.

As a fully disabled American citizen with a child that doesn't even get $1,000 a month and there's no available housing at all where I live no waiting list to go on people on SSI disability don't get any extra housing help we're not offered separate housing are put on separate lists and low-income Able Body people or the migrants jumping the Border but I was born and raised here paid taxes and worked until my body literally couldn't anymore but I don't hear anybody bitching and screaming and crying about the fact that my son and I would be on the streets if it hadn't been for one of my family members stepping up and giving his housing after a lifetime restraining order issued during my pregnancy on my son's biological do do with domestic abuse situation. I'm also US citizen that spent time in the Wards in Houston and projects and other cities and if you don't think that we don't have the same gun violence drug trafficking human trafficking gangs take it over cartels taking over neighborhoods and communities than you're freaking lying to yourself and everybody else. The same s*** that's taken over these countries is taking over the inner cities have been for decades and these are the same communities that most of these people will end up in. No it's not about not being good Christians part of being a good Christian is reminding people to stand their ground and have faith in Jesus and God and their own home territory and not to give it up to the crime people in the bad politicians. You can't say you believe in God and Jesus Christ and then he's got your back while you're running and that's the truth in the reality that nobody wants to hear the more people run from these countries the more the bad people are able to take over and then we get complaints here in the states about the cost attacks is rightfully so. For those people screaming and shouting that everybody should go out pick up in my grant and bring them home to their house and feed them and take them and I challenge you to do the same thing for homeless before you even do the migrant do homeless American citizens go out and really educate yourself because I'm totally tired of hearing from Americans that the only people that live on the streets are people with mental health problems that need mental health treatment or people that are stoned out and that's where they want to be you guys are so f****** wrong and this is coming from someone that met homeless people spent time around homeless people and understand we have a society that wants to paints a very different picture than what's truly going on because then it allows for hey it's not our problem they want to be there. I mean did you all forget the night they came to take them away they were asleep in an Open Garden it wasn't like they popped up tents or glamper camper sites had some little Adobe type cabins they were sleeping in. As a matter of fact if you pay attention to most of the stories about Jesus and talking about him sleeping he does a lot of sleeping Outdoors. Remember God is a father that's how he's been represented and talked about in the Bible and Jesus was a man without a doubt no biological transgender question ability there. People need to remember that part of being a fair and loving. Is also teaching and discipline and these children following rules. I don't believe hearing God and Jesus telling all these people run from your countries and not have faith that I'm actually going to fix things for you and go run to somebody else actually go run to the United States where all those stuff is traveling through. you know, i live about and hour and a half below the border, in arlington wa, and we get alot of canadians coming down. ive never been up to canada really but it seems that buisness isnt as busy. not as many coffee shops or fast food to work at. in america, everyday starts, and it picks up speed, and ROARS. canada, a little bit slower. in america you can get a bunch of people together and go wild and yell and laugh and do stupid stuff and evyone is like hey, those guys got it figured out.
