What's happening is insane. I have always loved Canada--and my completely messed up country...but now I only love Canada. Hope to see us together again soon. All of this is breaking alot of good people down. Shame.

The President of the United States is trying to destroy America economically in my opinion. Don’t take it personal Canada. He’s fired over 20,000 people from their jobs with absolute disregard in disrespect. He left to get rid of which employed 7000 people! Trump led the charge to get rid of TikTok and then he left Office and it happened but he’s the one who started it all 7000 people lost their job jobs. He’s cutting Services to all American people with all these job losses and he doesn’t care!! He just cares about his wife, Elon, and making America white again! To start trade, wars is crazy when we’re just recovering economically from the pandemic, but he doesn’t care because being the president has made him rich because he breaks every law!! I’m so sorry Canada that we have so many idiots in this country that voted for this man because they’re racist and they wanna make America white again. It’s not about making America great it’s about making it white. Unless you do one of those so-called what he calls black jobs. Don’t really need to explain anymore than that. Either know some history or don’t. Hopefully this idiot will either change his mind when he realize what a catastrophe he’s caused or he’ll be gone soon!! From an American, who did not vote for Trump and never would vote for Trump with good reason!!

Donald Trump and his administration have been captured by Russia. Every single thing he does that seems not to make sense, which seems to hurt America, are directives from Vladimir Putin. He wants to weaken America and destabilize the West. And he found individuals willing to commit treason in order to do his bidding. I hope the rest of the world understands what has happened to the U.S. government. Many of us, who didn't vote for Trump, understood he was a Russian asset. Trump voters rejected this and believed his lies. The majority of Trump voters will soon realize they have been betrayed. They don't have to become Democrats to abandon Trump and fight against this Russian takeover of our country. We need them. We need the world's help.

We know why HE is doing this. He is pushing an imperialistic agenda, so he can be like those he admires. He's hoping that Canada will bend at the knee and give in so that he can claim Canada as a 51st state. But guess what? That won't happen. He's just doing himself and his country harm. He doesn't care about you, or me, or us as two countries that have always worked together. But we are setting up border security to keep American drugs, and weapons, and illegal migrants from coming into Canada. We're going to have to survive by reverting our trade to elsewhere, to depend on ourselves, to boycott U.S. products. We may be nice, but we are also tough. We love our society, our democracy, and our benefits. We won't give that up. Growing up, I lived in South Western Ontario, I used to go back and forth from Canada to the U.S. with no issues. Now, I'm sad to say, I won't ever be going to the U.S. again. Let's all hope for a brighter future for both countries.

The only solution that I have heard that remotely makes any sense is the Cato institute conclusion that the wisest route to go is completely legalization with age restrictions. While this may not be the desired outcome it's the only one that I see that makes any sense whatsoever it seems that when a solution like this offered so many individuals who have no gravitas in this matter will come back to the same nonsensical bulshit that they're going to stop the flow that is absolutely impossible. However we will continue on that course and we will continue to fail. The Cato Institute was initially funded by the Koch brothers a extremely conservative organization that gets together a group of the brightest and the best in trying to determine what is the best solution.the Koch brothers were the group that invented the tea party I would love for anybody who disagrees with this post. I would like anybody who thinks that this is a far-fetched idea ,all I ask is that if you disagree with the finding that it should be legal with age restrictions if you disagree I would like to hear a solution that you have in mind that you think is better than the Cato Institute finding. I am under the impression that you do not have anything that remotely resembles a solution to this terrible problem. Right off the bat, with uality control, you'll stop hundreds of thousands of deaths. All of the issues that are being dealt with are just so screwed up because we've already been through this before. After making a constitutional amendment to ban the manufacturing of alcohol it was reversed and I hope that the country realize that we cannot win this battle with the same mindset. The only reason why fentanyl is such a dangerous intoxicant is because there's no quality control. Also the cartels are not affected negatively \nBy allowing the government deal with this problem. the end result would be not only do you save lives but you also have put a very negative Spike through their heart of the cartel in the pocketbook. Incense elan musk & DOGE cost cutting measures since this War on drugs has caused over a trillion dollars and no 6:28 results. The DEA does not remotely live up to its mission statement and has failed every year since that policy was put in place. I would love to hear any feedback and a solution that is remotely possible.. let's hear some original ideas that the country would benefit from.. the ball is in your court.

Why is it that everyone outside of America has an expectation on how we should be that benefits them. This can has been kicked down the road for multiple decades. The waste, fraud, and abuse we are uncovering in the government. The situation with NATO and Ukraine and no one can fix their problems or issues without the US. We have aggressive homelessness, poverty, poor education system, high taxes, and a government that in the past has done nothing but pimp our tax dollars out just for kickbacks. I have never received aid from the UN, never receive money from other countries, nor assistance. Is no one in America tired of this? Here we are talking about Bourbon tax….lol. Every student who comes to USA for M.S. graduate studenfrom India pay only 1semister fee to colleges but they apply for 2 year tuition in Indian banks \n\nWhat is happening is colleges collect 1 semester fee and after 1st semester.\n\n students work part time at restaurants, gas stations, Motels grocery stoes. Mostly at non chain stores. \n\nLegally they are suppose to work on campus but they work off campus and earn and then pay for college. And some send to India they their friends illegally.\n\nThey travel up to 50 miles around to work. \n\nThese students work for cash and work for $7 to $8 per hour or even less.\n\nStore proprietors / owners tell these students if anyone comes for raid they will tell that they are working on voluntary basis and taking salary. So like this millions of students work illegally.\n\nAfter student comes out of college during OPT and stem OPTA they continue to work and approach consulting companies to generate payroll / trainee for no r a son just to give them status. \n\nDuring OPT these employers collect money to pay taxes and generate payroll and keep them to put them to work and maintain their status.\n\nThis does not stop here.\nH1-B workers who come from India on lottery 80% do not have clent jobs but they use back door and show that they have jobs and continue to pay taxes to show on paper that they are still working with a hope that they get jobs in future. And do part time work at restaurants, grocery store etc..\n\nStudents also stay in apartments in groups of 5 to 6 in 2 bed room unit and share and save money actual apartment lease is on only 2 people remaining people stay illegal.\n\nLandlord cooperation is there. \n\nthis situation is causing so much trouble to American citizens. Most Americans do not get a job even if they get paid low wages due to these unauthorized workers.\n\nCreate a department to report every local illegal student workers or H1-Bs or OPTs to ICE and disqualify them and cancel their visas.

If your country is bad enough to make you want to flee, why do so? Every country has had to struggle. Even here in the US horrible things have happened to it's citizens. You cannot run from your problems. They must be solved, one way or another. The US had a civil war. It was horrible, though you could argue the outcome was good. If you live in a country, you have a duty to be a part of that country. Whether that means voting, partaking in social norms, etc., you are a part of that. It is not another country's problem if that turns out being bad. If the majority of a country installs or allows in one way or another a horrible governing party or group to run things, it is their fault and theirs alone. Like sticking your hand into a hot pan, there are consequences. This will get bad before it gets good. Hopefully it ends good.

This is the best thing that could happen. I hope we stopped all trade with Canada Mexico, and make everything in America. We need jobs here.

Try pulling this in any other country in the world and see what happens. Just try to switch citizenship without income anywhere in the world. You just can’t do it. Colombia has taken so many evil people and poor destitute people from Venezuela as refugees and it can’t absorb them but Colombians normally come legally to the USA and make great Americans my family in law for example are good conservative people who support Trump and I’d like to have my family in the USA all in one place especially is colombia will turn into Venezuela under a corrupt regime who has ruined everything and hurt most of the citizens idk how he won if he did even win but the USA came into Colombia before to stabilize it and it worked for a long time and there are 30,000 U.S. expats here or people with family ties or like me who happened to marry into a Colombian family. I am also an immigrant since here in 1991 I was also running away from violence and from the fact that in Mexico in the 70s, 80s and 90s they were killing homosexuals who could not be in the closet like others who could hide their homosexuality. I was able to immigrate because I had a lot of courage, a lot of fear and most of all, helplessness against the country that gave me life, Mexico, where society and presidents always had some double standards, it is unheard of. I owe my life, my dignity and my prosperity to this country, the United States of America. Of course I have not stopped working since I arrived. I am not a rich person but I am an American citizen. I have managed to be part of this beautiful nation, but we cannot demand that this nation give us something where our own country was denied us dignity, to be treated as first class citizens like us in my country and we could not be given that. But well, I hope that these immigrants find the light very soon and that they talk about how badly their own country is treating them, that they say what is happening. Because that is what they should fine or do something so that their own country's government gives them a better life!???

I've written similar comments elsewhere that were automatically deleted by the person who posted the video, and I found that disheartening. I first want to address the rumour about human feces and dirty diapers being found on Canadian beaches, and I want to stand up for the people who called out Indians for doing this. Somebody saw something. Maybe they weren't able to produce any legal proof of it, but they clearly saw something, and there is nothing racist about them calling out this behaviour. This practice is not only unhygienic. It is ILLEGAL in Canada; so, it absolutely should be called out publicly to prevent it from ever happening again. I have seen many videos about the culture of mass open defection in India. The videos I saw were posted by Indians themselves. One of those videos was a TEDx talk done by a woman named Sangita Vyas who discussed the truth about open defecation and that it is not limited to only the poor population. Even people who can afford to build latrines are not using them, and she explains why after interviewing Indians to ask why. I've watched Indian doctors talk online about how many Indian children die from something as simple as diarrhea every year as a direct result of the water contamination caused by open defecation. So, clearly, open defecation is legal in India, and perhaps some of these people think if it's legal at home then it must also be legal elsewhere. WRONG. It's illegal in Canada. It's unhygienic. It should never happen. Period. And there is NOTHING racist about a Canadian saying this out loud and reminding people that they must follow the rules and laws of the country they are in.

Even my Indian friends who were born here want all Indian immigrants gone they are pissed off. Deport the low skill Indian immigrants and the ones who defrauded the system, the slumlords who exchange rent for sex and the human trafficking.
