What everyone needs in Canada right now are as follows : 1) affordable housing; 2) decent employment; 3) reliable and dependable healthcare. \n\nI agree that immigration process needs to be made harder and stricter. Choose quality over quantity. \n\nFocus on getting new immigrants only in specified fields such as a) healthcare (doctors, nurses, healthcare workers); b) trades (construction/plumbing/carpentry/electricians/farmers); c) tech (IT/AI/Robotics...) and no need to bring students to do useless courses in management/finance and other fields.\n\n\nDevelop other provinces besides Ontario/Quebec/BC/Alberta; build new townships and create jobs in these new towns; build more airports, highways, break monopoly of state owned air carriers and increase competition; ban all labor unions; decrease bureaucracy and regulations and keep it at a bare minimum; increase and improve work efficiencies

I think they should focus on their natural population than relying on immigration. They can do 3 things to do this\n1) Ban on abortion \n2) Don't promote LGBT.\n3) Bring more young females from underdeveloped countries.

I am from Europe. You won't find a single country in EU who will not deport immigrants that do not have legal documents. If they find them they will throw them out of EU and those persons will get 5 years ban for apply legally. (IDEA) Set a deadline for all illegals that are here in the states to go to the immigration offices and declare they are here illegally on their own account. \n\nCreate a lottery system (select a small percentage to win the chance of the American dream!!! Unfortunately, you get the terrible kind of Indians migrating to Western countries as cultural immigrants. Earlier during the British era, it was only high-quality immigrants from Bengal and Tamilnadu who won Oscars, and Nobel Prizes, and invented multiple medical treatments, took yoga to the west. After Indian independence people from the culturally worst states of India migrated to the West. Those states are already famous in India for being religiously bigot, conservative, being abusive to women. These people never go to the West to enrich themselves but go only to earn money. Now western people can't differentiate them from the rest of the Indians. Although many are trying ....Australian universities banned students from specific Indian states, and UK universities restrict them. Other genuine Indians are taking the hit for those bastards. It's not a good sight to see every visa medical, application center filled with Punjabis, they tore down the Indian image of taxi, and truck drivers as their image is the same in India.

As a Indian who is now Canadian, no one is banning. We just have too many unskilled immigrants that are a burden on our tax money. Plus, these people are freeloaders and commit crimes. Before COVID, the immigrants were predominantly high skilled. Now we have hoards of low skilled immigrants.

For those who are already here, if promises were made guaranteeing them that they could stay after completing school, then those promises should be fulfilled. However, all immigration from India needs to be banned for at least 5 years, and then allowed in small numbers after that.

There needs to be a hard ban on immigration from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh (aka those that most abuse the system). Send all those temporary workers and students back and exclude these countries from participating in the different streams.
