As a Minnesotan, I feel as if I’m almost as Canadian as American and proud to say so. Our present sitting president and buffoon unelected sidekick Musk are creating chaos everywhere for the sake of billionaire donors and supporters. Absolutely none of what Trump/Musk has done and plans to continue to do is beneficial to a single non-wealthy American and these actions will harm his personal voters (of which I’ve never been one!) the most. Trump cares not. Pervasive narcissistic sociopathy is not curable! Stand strong Canada! We’re trying mightily to defeat this insanity here in the USA! 74 million people did not vote for any of this harm and destruction and outright cruelty!

I'm sorry about this viscous & needless act! I'm an American & I understand completely why Canadian's are upset. I also understand why you're going to retaliate, if you didn't, then I'd question your leadership. Canada has to do what's right for its people and Americans will understand why Canada has to do whatever it has to do for its People and Country. Trump's plan to make Canada the 51st State is by putting economic pressure on Canada until it can't stand anymore. This is his plan and now you can prepare Canadians for the fight ahead. Very proud of our Prime Minister!!! The Trump administration is currently destroying America. Canadians and Americans have been working hand in hand for more than a century and it's so sad to see that a bunch of billionnaires are using lies and manipulation to get their way. I'm from the UK and I am very impressed with the Canadian Prime Minister's response, what a contrast from the felon in the White House. I have been researching which Canadian products are available here and will be switching to them and away from U.S products. And to ordinary Americans who are as disgusted by their leadership as so many of us around the world are, I hope you will be able to reclaim your country back from Trump and MAGA who are doing so much harm to you.

I'm doing ongoing research to cease any spend on any US product or service. I'm buying software from Europe, using Posteo for email, deGoogling this year and vastly reducing Youtube. I trace all groceries to eliminate anything US sourced and I now check that products are Mexican and Canadian as much as I'm able and they are supplying. I've stopped planning trips to LA and NYC, I might resume if American voters ever have the good sense to vote en masse against obviously fascist plans and personalities. I've holidayed in Mexico three times and would visit Canada and Europe in future. US is not safe for everyone any longer, not even its citizens and looks to be getting increasingly insecure and offering prosperity only to the already mega rich through crooked policies and agencies. Every week or two I double check the facts on groceries and online products/services to make sure I'm not accidentally buying American. The election was so compromised in November I'm glad people are realising the only action we can take is with our wallets from not logging in to 'big tech' to buying bread and apples etc.

As a Canadian, I may not have agreed with everything Trudeau has done in the past 9 years. However he’s handled this American threat with class and dignity and I’m proud of our response. American/Canadian relations will never be the same.
